Don't toy with me: sexiest man of the year

A RESORT

Ch. 158 / 312 Apr 03, 2026

The airport was bustling with activity as the people were rushing to catch flights and greet loved ones. The smell of coffee and fast food hung in the air, and announcements blared over the loudspeakers. The twins were wide-eyed in surprise and excitement watching the movements and the big airplanes, taking in all the sights and sounds. As they made their way to the private terminal, they were met by a tall, slim woman with dark hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail. “Welcome, young master Antonio.” She greeted Antonio with a warm smile and a bow before leading them to the jet. Jace looked back and gave Angela the 'wow, so cool!' look, before climbing into the jet. The jet was sleek and shiny, with plush leather seats and gold-plated fixtures. The twins gasped out. “Is this really yours?” Antonio nodded with a smile. The girls' mouths were still open in awe as they admired the luxurious jet. Jace grinned, clearly impressed by the opulence. Angela couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by it too. When they finally got settled down, the assistants offered the twins a selection of snacks and drinks, which they accepted with pleasure. Antonio and Jace took seats next to each other, while Angela sat across from them, feeling a bit like an outsider. As the jet took off, the twins were glued to the window, watching as the ground fell away below them, pointing and screaming in excitement. Jace looked relaxed and comfortable watching it too, while Angela was silent, her brow furrowed. She knew that Antonio wouldn't open up easily, and she wanted a chance to at least apologize to him for the other night. As the jet leveled out, Antonio suddenly spoke out. “Can we talk?” he asked, his voice low. Jace and Angela exchanged glances curiously. “In private?” Angela nodded and followed him to the back of the jet, where there was a small conference room. She took a seat, and Antonio sat across from her. He took a deep breath. “I'm sorry about Diana…” he began, his voice barely above a whisper. “I…” “It's okay…” Angela smiled in tears, interrupting him. “I am sorry, too, I pushed you. I was just being unnecessarily jealous…” She paused abruptly and cleaned her wet cheeks. “Sorry about this… I just, I am happy that we get a chance to talk about it, I am proud of you…you are apologizing and all… I…” Antonio cuts in “I love you Angela, I do… So much, but I am not worth it.” Angela froze a bit shocked, then she chuckled and hit him playfully. “Shut up, will you?” She giggled with a lip bite and pulled him by the collar romantically, standing on her tiptoes. She closed her eyes and kissed him on the lips. However, Antonio's lips were cold and emotionless, his hands coldly took hers from around his neck, and down. “I am sorry.” He muttered again and slowly walked away. Angela stood at that spot, uncertain about the next step, she cleaned the tears summoning underneath her eyes trying to put herself together.

As the jet touched down on the runway, the excited twins looked out the window, taking in the breathtaking view of the tropical island. They could see the turquoise waters of the ocean, the lush green vegetation, and the elegant architecture of the resort. “So beautiful! So blue!” “Lia look! There's a beach!” Liya giggled. “We arrived at our location.” Jace announced. They all stepped off the plane and were greeted by a middle-aged resort staff in a suit. He ushered them into a luxurious golf cart. The cart whisked them away to the main resort building, where they were met by a smiling concierge, two men in suits were standing at her back like guardian angels. “Welcome to the Montero's Resort, lady Angela,” the concierge said. “We hope you have a wonderful stay with us.” She addressed Angela with a bow. “Thank you.” Angela forced a smile. “I have welcome gifts for you two, darlings.” She addressed the twins in a pleasant, friendly manner, each receiving a cute poke on the nose. The twins giggled and looked at Angela. Her heart melted at their happy faces. Never had she imagined such a life for them. The two men in suits handed each of the twins a gift box. “What's in it, it's heavy.” “Find out.” The lady winked. When Jace and Antonio got to the same spot. The lady immediately bowed. “Welcome back, Mr. Montero.” Antonio nodded with an unreadable expression. “Make sure they all have everything they need, no matter what.” He instructed. The concierge bowed. “Yes, young master.” Then she turned to Jace. “It's a pleasure to meet you,” she said. “We'll make sure you have a wonderful time here.” Jace thanked the pretty concierge, shyly. He and the twins followed her as she led them through the resort. They all admired the environment. The grounds were immaculately landscaped, with tropical flowers blooming in every color imaginable. Jace would describe the Montero's Resort as something out of a dream. The buildings were so grand and elegant, with towering columns and sweeping staircases. The rooms were luxurious, with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows that looked out onto the ocean. The restaurants were gourmet, serving the finest cuisine from around the world. The spa was lavish, offering every type of treatment imaginable. And the pool was enormous, surrounded by palm trees and cabanas. There was even a private beach, where guests could lounge on plush loungers and sip tropical drinks. It was truly a world of opulence and of course many servants.

“Wow!” Lia exclaimed, gazing up at the towering palm trees. “This place is amazing!” “I know, right?” Liya said, her eyes shining with excitement. “Let's go swimming!” Lia said, running towards the pool. “Come on, let's go!” “Wait, we have to put on our swimsuits first!” Liya called after her, trying to keep up. “We can't just jump in!” “Fine!” Lia stopped running and turned to look at her sister. “But let's hurry!” Jace shook his head and smiled. He turned around and found Angela looking place and lost in thought while walking towards him. His eyes darted towards Antonio addressing the servants. “I wonder what's going on with these two?”
