Hilux Cars With Scary Looking Men

"Nolan?" Amy questioned as if this would be the first time she would be hearing such name.

"I asked if the person you met with was Nolan?" He questioned.

Amy didn't want to lie so it wouldn't cause more trouble, what if he already find out name of the person she went to speak with. Amy looked at him in silence and wondered how a person could be this mysterious.

"Well, I met with Nolan," Amy answered truthfully and waited for what he had to say.

"So I'm here yet you meet with another man?" Broderick asked, though his face didn't have any readable expression on it, she could tell that he wasn't pleased with the fact that she met with Nolan.

"Actually, I didn't even know he came here until we both arrived at Joan's office. I only went to him so I can tell him to leave and not come unannounced anymore," she explained.

"Okay," Broderick said simply.

Okay? Is that all he would say?

"Are you angry, Broderick?" Amy asked.

"Not at all, if any reasonable person were to choose between a blind man and a man who can see, we both know whom would be chosen so I understand you," Broderick said.

"Broderick, stop! Trust me, I didn't entertain his visit at all, " Amy said and Broderick simply nodded.

Amy got back to work and hoped that Broderick would really beleive her, after work, the duo got inside Amy's car and she drove home.

After four days had passed, Broderick placed a call across to Nolan and he answered," have you returned Martha to where she originally was?"

"What makes you think I will?" Nolan asked.

"Check the recent news about your country," Broderick said and hung the call up.

Nolan immediately checked the internet and saw a website covering a life event of how his father's grave was being dig.

He felt a sharp pain in his heart seeing this, how could his father be dishonored in this manner? He immediately placed a call across to Broderick and he answered and spoke immediately," ready to return Martha?"

"How dare you dig out my father's grave? Did he offend you? I'm the one who has grudges against you," Nolan said

"Keep watching the site coverage and you will see how your father's body will be dissected ruthlessly."

"But Martha is already disfigured and in pain, what more did you want from her? I have got a lot of doctors to administer treatment to her but she's not yielding to treatment at all," Nolan said.

"Why are you even concerned about Martha? Do you have feelings for her too?" Broderick asked.

Nolan frowned, she was only helping Martha cause Martha had once helped him in the past, "Stop the digging out of my father's grave."

"Take Martha back to A Island," Broderick insisted.

Nolan remained quiet then said, "I can bring Martha myself to your house, how about that?"

"I don't entertain visitors," Broderick said but immediately thought otherwise," bring her over but come alone."

"Okay," Nolan said and hung the call up.

Broderick then ordered for Brett to pause the digging out of King Travis's grave. King Travis was the father of Nolan and then he gave order to his chief guard to let Nolan in if he only comes with a woman.

About an hour later, a knock landed on the door and Broderick said in a loud voice," come in."

The door opened and Nolan walked in carrying Martha. He placed Martha on the biggest couch there and then sat on the couch opposite that of Broderick.

"I wonder what you will do to her now," Nolan said.

"Leave that to me. She deceived me for years, do you expect me to forgive her?" Broderick asked him.

"But this woman is almost dead, she can neither talk nor lift a finger, what more punishment did you want to inflict on her?" Nolan asked.

"I just told you to leave that to me. Your father's grave won't be digged out anymore." Broderick said.

"I dare you to tell me you love Amy and I may consider giving up my course on winning her over to me," Nolan wanted to be sure if Broderick truly loves Amy or if he was just obsessed with her.

"Whatever I feel towards the mother of my children is not even your concern. You should leave and let me warn you, if you make any silly move, you may end up becoming dead," Broderick threatened.

Nolan stood, he has a better plan than trying to fight him here. "Bye, Broderick."

Before he could take a step, the door opened and the chief guard rushed in, "Sir, sir!"

"What's the matter?" Broderick asked the chief guard.

"WestHill king has lead his soldiers over here and are already engaging in a tough battle with the soldiers of our country," once he finished saying this, Nolan furrowed his brow in shock then checked his phone and saw ten missed calls from Dave Felix, his personal bodyguard. He had put his phone in silence cause it was necessary for the plan he wanted to implement.

"Nolan, won't you do something, this is an abrupt attack on our country?" Broderick asked Nolan.

Nolan was scared to the gut. Did the WestHill king want him dead? Did some families in NorthHill liased with WestHill king to fight against him? He had so many thoughts in his head.

He dialed Dave's number with a shivering hand and as soon as Dave answered it, he had sounds of guns, "Dave, what's going on?"

"We have been attacked and the WestHill soldiers are winning, if they win, they will take over the country and get you enslaved," Dave said as a matter of urgency.

Nolan became confused, he turned to Broderick and said, " this is also your country, you have to help me."

"What did you say?" Broderick smirked and shook his head, "you sure know how to joke."

"Why do I feel like you are behind this attack?" Nolan asked Broderick

"If I want to fight you, I'll come straight at you. I won't go through the corners and worse, involve a foreigner, I'm not so dumb," Broderick said. He dismissed the guard in the room. He was not bothered about the attack in the country all.

Attacks on a country is always targeted towards the politicians, he was not involved in politics and Amy and children are secured where they are, he beleives.

Nolan immediately walked out and when he got out, he threw a bomb inside the living room that Broderick was and ran out. When the guards saw him running out , they thought it was because he needed to go and attend to the attack that just befell the country.

Broderick heard the sound of something land somewhere in the house, he had a very bad feeling about it so he stood and went towards where he thinks the stuff landed.

He bent and searched with his hand but didn't feel anything strange, the door opened all of a sudden and he turned towards the door.

Amy and the six kids ran towards him, "Broderick! Broderick!" Amy shouted.

"Amy!"

"Our country is being attacked by WestHill king, the entire country is in chaos, are you aware?" She held onto Broderick's hand.

"I'm aware," he said, but he knew that people that walked in here were more than one, judging from the steps that approached him.

"Dad, what do we do? Are we safe?" Debby asked.

"Yes, you are safe with me. Amy please take the kids inside," Broderick said and Amy lead the kid inside.

"I feel like something is off with dad, when we walked in, he wasn't looking at us which was uncommon of him, did anyone noticed that?" Moses asked after they had all got inside.

"Maybe dad is busy thinking about how to quench the problem that just befell our country," Debby said as she jumped on the bed.

"I'm worried about dad, I feel like he's not fine," Moses insisted.

"Dad is fine, brother," Angel said.

"I think dad is fine, he probably has a lot in his heart, we should understand," Queen said.

Moses looked at his brothers as if asking what they think. Neither of Elijah nor Elisha said a word, they just went to lay on the bed quietly, but their faces were dull.

Moses assumed his brothers were probably thinking the same thing that he was thinking. Moses decided to find out what's really going on with their father.

After Amy had ensured that the kids settled in the room, she walked back to Broderick but realized that Broderick was squatting on the floor and searching for something.

"Broderick, what are you searching for?"

"I can't really place it," Broderick replied.

Amy suddenly sighted a round object, it was strange and was beeping, she touched it and soon realized that it was a bomb.

She screamed in shock that she fell with her butt to the floor, "what happened?" Broderick asked immediately.

"A bomb! It has just eighty seconds left before it explode," Amh said.

"Bring it," Broderick demanded.

"Why?"

"Do as I have said quick," he said in a stern voice and Amy handed over the bomb to him.

"Go to my shelf and quickly pick up a key with the tag A4. That's the key to my house at A4 area, go there with the kids immediately," he commanded.

"And you?"

"Time is fucking running out, go!" He shouted and Amy quickly ran away from him. Hoping that he has a plan to save himself.

Amy got the key and immediately made the kid walk out of their room, after she had made the kids sit in the car, the kids were perplexed, they had just gone home and now, they were being taken away. They understood that the country is in chaos so may be their parents were doing all they could to keep them safe.

Amy then walked back inside and saw Broderick busy doing something with the bomb, when she got before him, she realized that the bomb had just fifteen seconds left to explode.

"Broderick, fifteen seconds left," Amy shouted.

"What in the world are you still doing here? Did you want my children to die?" He asked," go now."

"Why don't we go together, we can escape together."

"No, go!" He shouted on her.

"Promise to come," Amy said, scared that Broderick may die as a result of the bomb blast though it seems he was trying everything possible to diffuse the bomb.

"Promise? I can't. Leave!" He shouted and quickly added," because of my kids, leave...please!"

More tears rushed down from Amy's face, seeing that she had about seven seconds left, she ran inside the car and shouted to the guards," run, bomb!" She drove out quickly while the guards also ran for their life.

She had arely driven for five seconds away from the house when she heard a heavy sound. She drove even further and parked.

"Please stay inside," she said to the kids who had fear written all over their faces. She then stepped out and from where she is, she saw that there was an explosion already at Broderick's house.

It was very impossible for him to have escaped such, does that mean Broderick is dead? When it looked real to her, she ran to the back of the car , fell with her butt to the floor and bursted into tears, crying so hard.

"I think there is an explosion," Moses turned back and looked through the back windscreen of the car then saw that there was an explosion.

"It's really an explosion," he said and other children turned and climbed the chair to see, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming out of the house.

"Wait! Isn't that our house?" Debby asked.

"Yes...yes, it is," Elijah affirmed.

"Is dad not in there?" Debby asked as her heart pounds heavily.

"I think dad would have escaped," Elisha said, but he wasn't sure.

"Where did mummy go?" Queen asked.

"Who knows?" Moses said. The children were very worried and scared.

Amy stood from the floor that she was. Oblivious that her children were watching her through the back windscreen of the car, she cleaned the tears on her face. She had to lead her children to a save place first then think of what next to do. She hadn't confirmed yet that Broderick is dead. A man like Broderick Alessandro can't just die, she tried to sound hopeful but more tears streamed down on its own.

She was trying to act strong but it was hard, she suddenly felt numeous hands wrapped around her waist and when she looked down, she saw her children. They had all stepped down the car and were hugging her as if consoling her.

Moses asked," mum, is dad dead?"

"No, no! He's not." Amy said. Afterall, she had not even confirmed.

The children rested themselves sadly around Amy, seeing her children sad even made more tears dropped from her face, she ruffled their hair and said," we need to leave here."

She helped the children back inside and began to drive away. While heading to house A4, Moses suddenly shouted," mum! Mum, look through the front mirror."

Although Amy was driving, she was lost in thought. She looked through the mirror and saw a couple of Hilux cars with scary looking men speeding after her as if trying to catch up with her.

Amy furrowed her brow in shock, were these people soldiers of WestHill or NorthHill? Why were they after her, "use your seatbelt," she shouted and the kids immediately made use of their seatbelt.

She pressed hard on the accelerator making it speed beyound normal, her hands firm on the steering.
