Abbie
I sigh as I begin to wake up and blink a few times as I realize I had not slept this well in a very... very long time. My bed back home doesn't compare to how good this bed was, making me debate whether to get up or stay in a little longer.
Hunter's bed is incredibly comfortable. I am officially in love with this bed! I could honestly live in this bed. But- I gave Livie my word to go and join her in the kitchen so we can help the omegas prepare breakfast this morning. So, time to get up.
I tried to move, realizing I was pinned to the bed. Hunter had his leg ontop of me, and his arm hugging me tightly around my waist as if I was a damn body pillow. His head rested against my neck, making my skin tickle as I feel his warm breath.
If I was in a serious relationship with him, this would be my favorite pose. I never knew spooning with a loved one would feel so good; he's making me feel all kinds of things, and I don't know why I am beginning to like it so much. Fucking mating bond, why is it getting harder and harder?
I try and move his hand but he only stirs, hugging me tighter and nestling his head closer to my neck, making me close my eyes as I purse my lips in attempts to not squeal. His breath sends shivers down my spine and causes sparks to surge through my body.
"Holy bells... Hunter! Let go!" I whisper very quietly in hopes that he didn't wake up, making him hum as he lifts his leg, hooking my leg under him, and pulling it back as he interlaced my leg with his. "Oh, mylanta! This... why do you make me feel like this? Fucking Hunter, fucking mating bond, man! You're....ugh!" I say as I try again, failing completely. It's only five thirty am, but still; usually packs start training at six in the morning, which means I am late for breakfast prep.
"The bind's getting stronger!" Merida chirped, making me roll my eyes at her.
"You're no help, pup. Livie is going to kill me!" I say in a whisper, and I hang my head, unable to get away from his arms as he holds me like I was his teddy bear.
To make matters worse, I am getting so turned on; his breath on my neck is of no help making me suppress the feeling through my body as it begins to overcharge with the spark. My stomach is fluttering with butterflies. I finally manage to turn, facing him, maybe I can free myself more easily this way.
Boy, he looks handsome even when he's sleeping. His chiseled jaw clenched, and his eyebrows furrowed. It was as if he was still having a dream as his lips pout a little. He always pouted his lips back in school when he was deep in thought or was concentrating in his work.
His hands are a little tight around my waist, but still soft that I can move my upper body a little, making me free my hands. I softly caress his hair, combing it back, away from his face. He sighs at my touch, running his hand softly up my lower back as he hums one more time. I look at his scar. I wonder how he got it? He didn't have this scar the last time I saw him. He had no marks on him now that I think about it.
His skin was flawless back then, but now, it was full of scars everywhere. His arms, his chest and back... scars all over, making me worry. He's been through many fights, I can see that. And my heart hurts, as thoughts invade... I wonder how many times he's been in danger? And has anyone besides his mom cared enough to personally treat his wounds.
I've seen Felicity cry when she has taken care of her mate's wounds. We may be werewolves and we heal faster than a normal human. That doesn't mean it doesn't hurt when we are wounded. I've had my share of many broken bones and it is not pretty. It hurts badly, making me cry.
I ran my hand over his bicep, tracing one of his scars, near a tattoo he had of a wolf. "I bet this is an actual picture of what Titus looks like!" I tell Merida, making my lips tug into a smile. "I bet it is." she chimes back, sighing.
I run my hands over his hair again, making him hum once again, giving a little grunt and tightening his hold on me. I wish I could say I push away, but I don't. I let him hold me tightly, enjoying his scent and loving the feel of our bodies together. Our spark feels beautiful. I know I said I don't want him, but I am starting to fill with doubt.
What if he's not so bad after all? What if he truly wants to be with me and it works out? Goddess, I am a mess.
He finally woke up as I ran my finger through his jaw. His brown eyes darken, tugging his lips into a smile as he presses his fingers on my hip, pulling me closer.
"Oh, baby. I knew you couldn't resist me. It wouldn't be long until you gave in. Kiss me, baby!" he says, sarcastically, pulling me tightly and tickling my sides, coming forward to kiss me. I can't help but chuckle as his fingers tickle my ribs, making me squirm.
"Eww, no... Hunter!" I squeal out loud, squirming as he sarcastically tries to kiss me, making smooching sounds and hovering over me. He pins my hands over my head and kisses my neck, pecking it in a way that makes me tickled, making me lose it. I feel like I need to pee as I'm unable to stop laughing. "Hunter, stop!" I say chuckling, making him look up at me for a second before he goes back to tickling me and kissing my face and neck.
"But, baby! I can't stop. I can't stop kissing you, you taste so GOOOOOD! I love the way you taste, YOU'RE so delicious!" he groans out sarcastically, making me tilt my head back as I laugh. Everywhere he touches me, it's to tickle me, making me squirm all over.
"HUNTER, PLEASE! You're going to make me pee!" I squeal out, trying to get my hands free to no avail as he begins to tickle my stomach and under my arms. "No, please, baby, stop!" I say without thinking, making him stop. He looks at me in shock, making me realize what I had just called him.
"What did you call me?"
"Hun...Hunter!" I say, trying to play it off. My face feels hot from embarrassment, and my stomach flutters. I've become nervous for some reason. I haven't been able to stop feeling the spark at our every touch.
He smiles, biting his bottom lip playfully, nodding his head, "No." he waves a finger at me, "That is not what you called me." he comes closer, almost touching my lips, making me nervous. "Am I warming up to you, now? You called me baby. Admit it... I'm warming up to you, aren't I? You're in love with me already!" he says, making me roll my eyes as his smile widens bigger than the Kool-aid man.
"What? Of course not. Dream on, lover boy." I say, making him chuckle. "Oh, but I think you are," he whispers, making my body shake nervously. Damn... I really am. He's warming up to me, and if I'm being fairly honest, I missed him terribly... and... It didn't hit me until now.
My eyes water, making his smile fall, and looks at me in concern. I sigh through my silent tears, and pull him, hugging him tightly as my hands hold him around his neck. I sob silently, breathing deeply to try and calm myself down. "I missed you so much, Hunter. I missed all of you." I say in a shaky voice.
He soothes my sides, kissing my forehead and wiping my tears away. "Abbie, I missed you too... more than you could ever imagine," he says, looking at me lovingly. I smile through my tears, caressing his jaw.
He leans closer in an attempt to kiss me, except this time, I can't help but allow him. His kiss engulfs my body in a beautiful feeling. The spark feels like heaven. His tongue softly caresses my tongue as I feel him invade my mouth. His taste is sweeter than honey, making me melt inside.
I don't know what I'm doing, my mind is troubled, but I am too emotional right now to care. This kiss feels right. It feels like it is meant to be... we... are meant to be.
Oh, Hunter, you're making me fall in love with you. Again.
