Hunter
After this enticing revelation, I was set for my next move. I had cameras all over my pack, and apparently, Tara had not been as sneaky as she thought. I have so much evidence of her doing shit that would have made me rip her head off far too many times.
The only reason I haven't ripped her apart was because of her dad. I feel bad for the guy having such shitty luck. But if she thinks Im not aware of her night mingling with these two idiots I have for guards, and that I'm not aware they were screwing her, she is entirely wrong.
She took turns visiting the two guards at night, sometimes flirting with other guards; though they knew my secret plans, they kept her away. But these two idiots were falling so hard for her that they were willing to go against my warnings and betray our pack. They went as far as going into the security office and deleting footage.
Little did they know that even if they erase what is on the system, it still automatically saves everything on a separate hard drive. It can't be erased.
Kaiden, Asher, and my guards have restored every footage and saved it on a disk for us to use against them.
You know what the best part is? I have connections to the businesses around my territory, and they have sent me footage of Tara and our main traitor talking pleasantly as they eat each other's faces. What will he think when I show him how my two idiot guards have bent his chosen mate over?
Goddess, this is priceless. It's only a matter of time before the two go down. But first- I need to ensure they don't suspect our plan. I'll have to lie to her if she comes up and asks where they are.
As if on cue, one of the idiots' phone begins to ring, and Alonzo picks the phone off the floor, growling lightly as he sees Tara's phone number on the ID.
I clench my jaw and give him a warning look. Fear is written on his face. Henry grabs him by the hair and makes him grunt. He's all battered up. His eyes are still swollen, and his face bloody. "Answer her. You'll tell her you and your buddy here are going away for a while. Don't you dare try anything funny, or I will end you and your buddy. Understood?" I say in my alpha tone, making him shudder under me.
"Y-yes, alpha," he says, tears falling. Alonzo hits the green button, turns on the speaker, and places it in front of him. I signal everyone to remain quiet, and Henry yanks on his hair again, making him grunt slightly. "Hel- hello, gorgeous. What are you up to?" he says, playing along.
"Where the hell are you? I have been looking for you all morning. Because of you, that stupid old hag had me leave."
"Oh, so, you're back in your pack now?" I growl, knowing she was referring to my mother. Tara thinks I'm not aware she doesn't like my mother, and she fakes liking her in front of everyone. But I see right through her, and so does Titus, which is why he doesn't want her.
"Isn't that what I just said? Luna Mandy ordered warriors to bring me home. She didn't even let me explain why I was still in the pack's territory. I'm fucking tired of being here. All Taylor does is complain. All he wants is for me to be in bed with him. We need to find another girl to entertain him." she says, making me look at him with a raised brow.
He looked at me in shock, making me clench my jaw. I wondered what the hell she was talking about. Alpha Taylor needs another girl? What kind of sick entertainment was she talking about? I can only imagine what kind she was referring to.
I closed my eyes, gritting my teeth as I tried to control Titus. He was becoming distraught.
"Uhm, what... what do you mean? We just got that girl three weeks ago. Tara, I can't keep kidnapping girls for him. Why can't he find one on his own?" he asks, trying to avoid eye contact with me. So this is what's been happening under my nose? These two idiots are part of this heist?
Henry and Alonzo were just as mad. They looked like they were on the verge of losing it, as did I. "Hunter, I'm warning you, you better not let these fucking bastards go. They have been kidnapping girls too. Them! The ones that swore loyalty to you once are now culprits of the same thing we have been trying to stop. I swear if you let them go free, I..."
"That won't happen Titus. I have it under control. These two will get what's coming to them. I'm not going to make it easy on them. They betrayed us. They betrayed our pack. They WILL. PAY!" I say as I clench my jaw, mind-linking Titus back.
"Taylor was a little too rough with her. That's why he didn't come to the party last night. He had to finish getting rid of her. He was mad as hell when I returned this morning. I found his clothes on the floor, all covered with dirt. Goddess knows how long he'd been in the shower when I got here." she says, sounding disgusted.
"What? How could you let him kill her, Tara? You promised there'd be no more incidents." he yells, making her yell back.
"What the fuck, was I supposed to do? And don't yell at me."
"For fucks sake, Tara. This is ridiculous. I am not doing this-no more. I will not have another girl's blood in my hands because of you two." he yells, closing his eyes and allowing a tear to fall from his cheek.
"That girl had just turned eighteen. Why did you let him do it? Do you have any idea how bad this is getting? I can't do this anymore, Tara. I... I can't," he says, looking at me.
"I'm sorry, but you'll have to ask someone else for help from now on."
"What the hell are you talking about? You promised to be there and help me. You owe me."
"I owe you and that asshole nothing. I'm not doing this anymore, Tara. You're on your own. Besides..." he pauses, looking at me with concern. He knew I was mad, trying to fight Titus from merging because he was ready to rip his throat out.
"I'm not going to be around for a while. See... our alpha is invited to the king's birthday, as you know," he says, trying to sound convincing.
"Yeah, so what? Do you know how irritating that is? If that stupid Abigail hadn't returned, I would be going with him to that party. I need your help, Isaac. Not only do I need another girl for Taylor, but I need five more for his beta, his gamma, and a couple of alphas who will be visiting soon. And I need your help and your buddy to get rid of Abigail. I want her gone. Gone, you hear me? Don't start with your shit now. You need to help me-just one more time. Please!" she asks, sounding annoyed and scared simultaneously.
I growled at the sound of Abbie's name on her lips. How dare she ask him to hurt my Luna? My mate?
"Tara, I said no. Now, I am getting pretty tired of your bullshit. Stop wasting my time. A group of us have been asked to go to the king's castle ahead of time, and I will not be here. I'm on my way as it is. That's why you didn't see me today. I'm sorry, Tara. But you're... you're on your own."
"I'm wasting your time? Am I wasting your time? You didn't say that two nights ago when I was sucking your dick, did you? Do you have any idea how pissed off Taylor is going to be if I don't get him another companion? You owe me, idiot. Now, do as I say! Get rid of fucking Abigail and get me five new girls. Now!"
"Fuck off, Tara. I owe you nothing. I'm tired of you treating me as your damn guinea pig. Do whatever the hell you want. I'm done. Don't waste my time anymore. Please don't call me. I won't be available." he says, fuming with anger.
Alonzo ends the phone call, getting up and slamming the phone on the wall, making it shatter into pieces. But I am too angry. I lose it, closing my eyes and letting Titus take over.
Titus, being in complete control of my body, extends his claws, slashing the guard right across his throat and making his head fall to the ground.
"I will not tolerate any betrayal in my pack," I say in my alpha tone, with my eyes darkened and my canines exposed, making the other guy shriek in fear.
He backs away, but I'm too heated. I grab him by the neck and snap it, making him fall lifeless on the ground.
"Get rid of them. And let everyone in my pack know... whoever dares help that wench or dares to betray our pack will suffer the same consequences." I say in my alpha tone, growling slightly and fixing my coat. I didn't care; I was left with blood splattered on my clothes, hands, and face. They had it coming to them, and Alpha Taylor is next.
