Accidentally Slept With The Ruthless Billionaire

Chapter 446: Order Whatever You Want

Ch. 446 / 630 Apr 22, 2026

Meanwhile, at the Phoenix Alliance Group headquarters, Wyatt pushed the door open and entered Dave’s office.

“Did you find Sophia?” Dave asked without looking up, his attention still on the paperwork in front of him.

“You were right. She was at the lighthouse. But…” Wyatt hesitated, unsure whether to mention Bianca.

Dave immediately noticed Wyatt's sudden pause.

He glanced up, frowning. “But what? Speak up. I didn’t think hesitation was in your nature.”

Wyatt sighed, realizing there was no point in hiding it.

“Miss Scott got there before us. She jumped into the sea to save Sophia. If I hadn’t arrived in time, I’m afraid…”

Dave’s brows furrowed, his grip tightening around the pen.

“Tell me everything,” he ordered with his eyes cold and gloomy.

Wyatt took a deep breath. Holding back wasn’t an option.

He recounted everything he had seen, heard, and uncovered.

As Dave listened, his expression darkened.

By the time Wyatt finished, fury radiated from him.

Sensing the tension, Wyatt spoke carefully. “Boss, that’s the situation. If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave.”

Dave gave a slight nod, letting Wyatt go.

Wyatt exhaled in relief, but just as he turned to leave, Dave’s voice stopped him.

“Any news on Zane?”

A knot tightened in Wyatt’s stomach. He turned back and answered quietly, “Nothing yet.”

Dave’s expression grew even colder. “Okay. You may go.”

Meanwhile, Bianca pulled herself together and returned to the company, throwing herself into work.

The final episode of "Star Search" was set to air this weekend, along with a major live broadcast. Bianca had to be fully prepared for anything.

She had entrusted the lawsuits against the defaulting parties to Reece. She trusted him and believed in her case, so she wasn’t too worried.

By the time she finished her work, it was already ten o’clock at night.

The entire company was dark—except for her office.

She had sent Diana home at six, leaving her completely alone.

A silent emptiness overwhelmed her.

For the first time, she felt truly alone.

Bianca sighed softly and stepped out of the building.

The autumn air was crisp, and the chilly wind lifted the hem of her coat.

As she walked against the breeze, suddenly she saw a familiar figure up ahead, leaning casually against the roadside railing.

He wore a white polo shirt, exuding effortless charm.

Bianca felt anxious, and she held her breath for a moment.

A flood of memories pulled Bianca back to the past.

Back then, Dave wasn’t the CEO of Phoenix Alliance Group. He was just a regular guy, leaning on a railing, waiting to take her out for street food.

The memories cut deep, leaving a sharp pain in her chest.

She saw him standing in the distance. His tall frame stood out. Dave pushed off the wall and walked toward her.

Bianca met his eyes. Tears welled up, but she refused to let them fall.

He stopped in front of her and his broad frame briefly blocked the cold wind.

"Finished with work?" His voice was deep and smooth, carrying that same familiar pull.

"Yes, Mr. Evans," she answered coldly. "Why are you here?"

Dave ignored her question and his eyes shifted to the busy street. "Just wrapped up my work too. Felt a little hungry. Imagine that—running into you here. What a coincidence."

Coincidence? Bianca nearly laughed at the thought.

His excuse was as weak as a wet paper bag.

"So?" she said, deciding not to challenge him.

She lifted her chin, her bright eyes no longer filled with innocence but with the weight of experience.

"Since fate brought us together," Dave said with an unexpectedly soft voice, "how about I treat you to dinner?"

Bianca hesitated. She knew better than to get caught up with him again. But a flicker of nostalgia pulled her back to their past and made her pause.

When she didn’t respond, Dave took her hand. His touch sent a familiar spark through her, one she had long forgotten.

"Let's go," he said, already leading her toward his car.

During the ride, Bianca kept her eyes on the window. Dave remained silent, letting the silence fill between them.

When the car stopped, he stepped out first and opened the door for her. As she jumped off, a sharp gasp escaped her lips.

It was the same finest restaurant where she had once treated him— another memory from their past.

She glanced at Dave. He had waited outside her office only to bring her back to a place she had once chosen.

What was he up to this time?

A waiter greeted them with a polite smile and guided them into a lavish private room.

"Consider this a long-overdue return favor," Dave said, sinking into a plush chair, a small smile on his face. "Order whatever you want."

Bianca stood still, her brow furrowed in confusion.

"Mr. Evans," she asked, "what exactly are you trying to do here?"

Dave laughed, but there was no humor in it. "Like I said, just a chance meeting. Or were you expecting something more?"

"No, that's not it." She bit her lip before sitting down across from him.

Dave poured her a cup of tea, speaking casually. "Wyatt told me what happened earlier."

Bianca instantly looked at him. "Really? He's indeed your trusted subordinate."

"You jumped into the ocean without knowing if Sophia was actually suicidal. Reckless, but undeniably brave." Dave ignored her words but instead, he praised her with a hint of disapproval.

Bianca's frown deepened. "If you have something to say, just say it. We're alone. No need for riddles."

A hint of amusement played at the corners of Dave's lips. Bianca was still the sharp, perceptive woman he remembered.

She had found Sophia before his men had.

He poured himself another cup of tea, his expression softening. The coldness in his eyes disappeared, replaced by deep concern and a touch of... disappointment.

"I thought you'd never risk your life for anyone but yourself," he admitted at last. "Didn’t it occur to you that you could have drowned if Wyatt hadn’t reached you in time?"

Bianca paused for a moment before raising her eyebrows.

"Mr. Evans, are you accusing me or are you concerned about me?"

Dave squinted, fiddling with his teacup.

"I just don’t understand why you keep risking your life. Is there anyone in this world you wouldn’t be willing to lose?"
