A Slave For The Lycan King

Where is Bianca?

Ch. 34 / 35 Jan 13, 2026

~Damien~

I carried her on my lap and immediately I saw her cry. I hate to see her cry, it drives me crazy.

"Talk to me viola, what's wrong?" I asked her, caressing her flushed cheeks as I stared into those beautiful eyes of hers. “Did I do something wrong?”

Did I make a mistake that I wasn’t aware of?

"What’s wrong with Viola?’ Dugan whispered in a worried tone.

‘That’s what I’m trying to find out.’ I sighed.

"Are you hurt? Do you feel pain anywhere?" I asked, my eyes roaming all over her body.

The scars and bruises on her body were still there and it was taking time to heal because she didn’t have a wolf yet.

I cradle my finger on her cheeks. “What’s wrong?”

She sniffed and I wiped the tears off her face with my thumb. “I thought of my mother, when my pack was attacked, her body was never found and that was the last night I saw her. At least I had somewhere to go if I missed my father. I buried him somewhere in the pack but there was none for my mother…” She cried.

“When I'm with your mother, she reminds me of her, Damien.”

I pulled her close and pressed my lips on her forehead.

I didn’t know what to say, I know she was hurting right now. I placed her head on my chest, and her hands went round my neck.

She closed her eyes and I was staring at her face.

‘Mate is hurt.’ Dugan sighed.

‘I know, that’s why I want to be there for her.’ I replied.

‘We have to be careful, and not leave her alone. We couldn’t tell what happened next to her.’ He went on.

The door opened and I snapped my head around, Mom came in with some fruits.

"Did she cry? What happened? Did you make her cry, Kanal?” Mom asked in a harsh tone.

I haven’t been able to say anything before she started hitting my arm with her fist.

“Mom, it’s not that.”

Viola lifted her head when she heard Mom’s voice. “Did he hurt you, honey?”

She chuckled and shook her head. “No, he didn’t, ma.”

“Ma? Call me mother. You have no idea how happy I am that the Moon Goddess decides to grant a second chance to you. You were sent to ease us of the pain that we felt.” Her fingers stroke my hair affectionately.

“Mother.” Viola called shyly.

Mom smiled and hugged her.

“We should start leaving, viola has been discharged already.” I said.

“Let’s go home.”

They disengaged, and Viola stood up from my lap and sat beside mom. I went to take some of our stuff in the room. I heard them talking but didn’t quite listen to their conversation.

Viola came to my side, and stood beside me.

“Are we leaving now?” She asked.

“Yes, I will take you back home. The doctor said you can leave already.” I took the things from her table and kept them in the bag.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” I asked. She pouted her lips, and stared at me, she bit her lower mip.

“You ain’t trying to tease me are you?”

“Am I?” She chuckled and leaned closer.

“You don’t want me to eat you up right here?” I placed the bag on the bed, and spun around. My hand went to her shoulders, and I made her face me.

"You know you could just kiss me right?"

I looked over her shoulders and, stared at mom, her attention was on something else. She wasn’t staring at me.

I held the back of her head and pulled her close to me, gently placing my lips on hers.

Her hand gripped my shirt, and her eyes closed.

‘What has she done to me?’ I muttered to my wolf as I tasted her lips slowly, and then I pulled away from her into an embrace.

She wrapped her hands around me, and placed her head on my chest.

"What did the doctor call you aside for?" She suddenly asked, her brows creased.

"Nothing serious.” I replied and stroked her lovely with my fingers. The pack doctor said she was still traumatized by what happened to her, and he might advise that she sees some therapist in the pack hospital.

I haven’t suggested that to her yet, I don’t want anything to say that might bother her.

“Come, let’s go home.” I carried her in my arms, taking her feet off the ground, and carried the bag with the other.

“Let’s go, mom.” I said, and she looked away from her phone and dropped them in her handbag.

“You should put me down, I can walk.” She tried to hide the embarrassment from her face.

I chuckled, and brushed her hair off her face with my fingers. “I want to do this.”

I took her out of the ward, and Mom followed behind us.

We got to the car, and Mom opened it. I placed Viola in the back seat of the car, and mom took the seat beside her. I opened the car boot, and dropped the bag into it.

“Where’s Lucas? I thought he was going to come here.” Mom asked, and helped Viola with the seatbelt.

“He has to do something with the pack house. He will meet at home, and I wanted him to get some files from there as well.” I responded and ignited the car. I drove out of the infirmary, and to the mansion.

Mom was talking with Viola, I stared at them through the rear mirror and smiled.

I was glad they were getting along with each other.

“How did you get hurt?” Mom asked, she looked frantically between me and Viola.

“She was…”

“I fell from the stairs!” Viola chipped in, Mom turned to her and took her hand.

“And you sustained these injuries?” She asked in a worried tone.

“Yes, I was cleaning and lost my balance, and I fell from the top of the stairs.” Viola answered, and smiled at mom.

Mom didn’t look convinced but she didn’t press further.

“Where is Bianca?”
