"And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder. And I looked, and behold, it was Death, saying, 'Come and see.' And I saw. And Hell followed me.."
-Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
CORA'S POV:
I would not be as compromised as I was last night. That was in the past, and I would not let it falter me. Like Ren had said...it would fuel me.
I pulled on the cloak, and made my way to the board room, where Kylo had told me to meet him and Huxy.
I walked past the twin doors, until I came across a door labeled:
3218 BOARD ROOMI sighed and opened it.
Inside there was Kylo, and Huxy. They glanced at me, as I entered.
I nodded at them in recognition as I took a seat.
I felt Kylo's stare on me, but I kept my gaze on Huxy as I spoke. "What's the plan?" I asked slowly.
"We attack Theed, on Naboo. That's their capital. If we go for the most populated, and popular cities in the planet. Then so word is going to spread faster on the planet...and possibly others as well."
I nodded, and risked a glance at Kylo.
Surprisingly he wasn't looking at me, his attention seemed to be elsewhere.
Dick."Okay, so we attack Theed, and then? What? Hoth? Kamino?" Kylo said, his gaze still elsewhere as he participated in conversation.
"Kamino." I said.
Their heads turned towards me, awaiting further explanation.
"It has a more...populated capital. Tipoca is it's capital, I think we have a better shot there, than anywhere on Hoth."
Huxy nodded, his gaze looking into mine, longer than necessary.
He broke the gaze, "We can send divisions four and seven. They have been focusing more of their training attention, on planet civilians. They are our more equipped trooper's for Theed, and Tipoca."
Kylo glanced at me, "So Cora and I will lead Division four into the east side of Naboo's, Theed. We will take care of their...security, and half of the cities civilians, while division seven takes care of the rest of the population."
I nodded, "When do we leave?" "Immediately."
I wore my mask...nothing had changed, and I still wanted to inflict as much fear as my image would allow.
It felt...safe. It was like I was reunited with my old...familiar, acquaintance. The first thing I noticed when I stepped off the ship...was the colour.
It was...green.
I had never seen green so close to me, or so...alive.
A smirk crossed my face, as I signaled a Stormtrooper to burn the green...and the village.
The green would rot to ash.
The buildings would burn to rubble.
Alarms blared through the city's capital, as we crossed under a circular building's opening...signaling that we had entered Theed.
I heard the bloodcurdling screams of people as flames began to eat away at the buildings.
Kylo walked beside me, as we watched it all unfold.
We heard marching as we turned our heads to see Theed's trooper's. They began shooting instantly.
I pulled my saber out, as did Kylo, as we began to deflect their shots.
I guess Theed was a rather...peaceful place, judging by the wimpy...and almost sloppy shots of their guards.
The emotions flowed out of me, as my red blade cut through the flesh and bones of each guard.
Their cries quenched my thirst for pain, hurt, and death. "Captain." I heard Kylo say from near me.
A Stormtrooper with a red stripe stood before him, awaiting orders.
"I need you to gather some civilians, whomever you think deserves to live. Gather them in the square. Tell me when your done."
"Yes sir."
None of these townspeople deserve.None of them deserve to live.
A few struggled men ran over to me, knifes in their hands.
That's actually amusing.I waved my hand, watching as they all began to stab themselves. Slicing open their own necks, and impaling their own hearts.
So weak minded, that they'd kill themselves because I told them they should. Now that is amusing.
I watched, as more guards descended upon Kylo, there were a lot of them.
Like ants on honey.
I sighed impatiently, Kylo was taking too long to kill them.
I pulled a guy off his back, and shoved the blade of my saber through his throat.
Throwing him aside, I choked another guy whom was trying to get a shot at Kylo's head.
"I don't need your help." He growled as killed another guard. "I know." My dark, altered voice came. "I was just bored."
A dark chuckle came in response, "Only you, would be bored doing this." And he knows me SOO well...(sarcasm)
He wiped a river of blood off of his cloak, "They've gathered some towns people." He muttered to me, before walking away.
I followed him as I came to a familiar sight.
Seventy or eighty townspeople stood, with their arms folded above their heads. Division four and seven stood, holding guns to the groups of people heads.
I noticed we barley lost a dozen men, Huxy had been telling the truth when he said they were fully equipped for the planet take-over.
Kylo nudged me to follow him, as he made his way to the front of the organized group of people.
I noticed there were even amounts of women, men, and children.
Which meant that the Captain whom had organized the numbers, didn't have a preference between men, or woman and children.
Good. The pitiful women held their children close, their tears spreading through the hairs of unknowing kids.
"Ladies, and gentlemen." Kylo's voice announced.
With his mask, and enhanced voice modulator, his voice was loud, dark, and overpowering.
But the same goes even if he didn't have the mask.
"Boys, and girls...the first order thanks you for your cooperation."
CooperationI held back a smirk. Not that it would matter, considering no one could see my face.
"You lucky lot, have been spared. The First Order has been kind enough to let you live."
I practically smelled the relief, coming off of everyone in the crowd.
"On one condition." His voice came again, and I watched in amusement as a mother began shrieking.
Waving my hand, her neck snapped in-two. Kylo looked to me.
Was that really necessary? He voice linked to me.
Yes. She was annoying.
With that I shut off the connection, and waited for him to continue his speech.
"You spread the word, of what has taken place today. Tell your friends, tell your parents...tell everyone. The first order is not to be taken lightly. I hope your fear will overpower you, into an oblivion of loyalty."
And with that, he turned and walked away.
I followed him, glad that my mask hid the smirk that danced on my face.
"Look at us. Destroying one capital at a time." I said, the almost playful comment, coming out as a dark monotone from my mask.
He looked to me, and a stiff nod came from his helmet.
"Do you think it will work?" I asked, as I kicked a rock from a pile of rubble. "Hm?"
"Do you think our plan to spread the word of the First Order. Do you think it will work?"
He pondered the question a little, before answering.
"If we keep up, what we're doing." He gestured to the destroyed buildings. "I don't see how it can't."
I nodded my head, and watched as a woman held her child, screaming and crying into the folds of the kids blanket.
"Do you want to do something?" He suddenly asked me. I turned my head, "What?" I spat.
"Just come with me." His gloved hand grabbed my wrist, as he pulled me with him. We made our way past the buildings of the city.
I smiled as I saw the buildings burning, and with that, all of it's history burned too.
He led me past the city, and a group of trees, until we came to a massive building called the Theed Hangar. (Also known as the Royal Starport.)
"Come with me." He muttered as we walked around the moss covered building, and to a ladder.
I.don't.like.orders.I frowned as he began to climb up, but climbed after him, when he gestured wildly for me to follow, and almost lost his balance.
I took his hand, as he dragged me up the last few metal hooks on the ladder, he set me on my feet, as he made his way to the edge of the building, where he sat down.
I followed his lead and left my legs dangling off the incredible height. "Why did yo-" I stopped when I looked up.
The view shut me up. It was...breath taking.
You could see the entire capital, burning, and trees following its lead.
You could see the teal round tops of the buildings, and the peach coloured bases. You could see miles and miles of forest and waterfalls.
The flames leaped around the buildings, and I smiled. This was the start to the First Order.
This was the start...to our galaxies domination.
