"What do you do when the one person you want comfort from the most is the one who caused your pain? How can I want so desperately for him to wrap me up in his arms but also want so much for him to leave me alone."
-Amanda Grace
After Kylo left me speechless, I found myself angry that I had let my guard down. I went into the training rooms to cope.
I spent the entire rest of the day, and the whole night training. Fighting, punching, hitting, kicking.
I was restless.
Stress had gotten to me.
I felt anxious and nervous. I didn't know why.
I was feeling the stress that Kylo should be. I was taking on his emotions. Ever since I went in his head, I couldn't get his feelings out of my head.
It also didn't help that he almost kissed me.
Kylo made me feel different. No one has ever made me feel the way that Kylo made me feel.
It's something warm inside of me, something that made me feel a little less evil. I didn't like it.
I didn't want to like it.
That warmth that seemed to unthaw the frost around my heart. The cold that was me.
I had locked myself in the training rooms. Both Kaiyus and Eryk had tried to get in but I had barricaded myself inside.
I had never had this feeling of comfort before. The feeling that I now seemed to get whenever he was around. The warmth that pooled inside of me.
It was excruciating.
I sat in the middle of the room, my legs tangled on the mat, and I sat perfectly still.
I felt the force through everything around me, the breath of every object in the room.
I felt the energy flowing around me as I tried to calm myself.
It was obvious that physical excursion wasn't going to mend the ache that I felt, so I decided to try mental coping.
I took in long breaths as I continued to focus.
I only opened my eyes when I suddenly felt myself lifting off the ground, the force was powerful within me, and I felt the energy flowing freely.
There was a sudden knock at the door and I sensed Kylo's power as he approached. "Cora. Open up."
My connection dropped and I fell to the ground.
I stood frozen as Kylo pulled on the knob. I heard his temper and nerves through his voice.
"Cora...open the door"
I said nothing, my heart was pulsing.
I suddenly heard the woosh of the saber, and red sliced through the locked door. My saber was immediately drawn, red bled through it as I held it in front of me.
The door burst open, and there stood a very angry, and attractive, Kylo.
He was dressed head-to-toe in black. A cape was draped around his black pants and tight shirt.
His hair was ruffled, and his eyes looked tired. He glared at me, his eyes soft, yet angry.
I held my blade between us, and I stiffened as he approached. "Cora..."
I said nothing, he lowered his saber and began closing the distance between us.
KYLO'S POV
I had broken through the doors that she barricaded herself in.
I now stood twenty feet away from her and I couldn't stop staring,
She stood with her saber drawn, the red reflected back on her face and she looked...strangely beautiful.
"Cora..." I said softly.
She seemed upset, disturbed.
Her body was rigid, her thin porcelain face gave nothing away. Her lips were parted as she waited for me to make a move.
I took another step towards her. Bad idea.
Suddenly her saber was flying in my direction, and flew through the air to dodge it.
The saber sliced through the walls and ricocheted until it settled back into her arms.
"Just stay there." She said coldly.
Her legs were shaking, and I felt the need to comfort her. To hold her. Whether she liked it or not.
I ran at her and she waved her saber at me, her skills were rusted by nerves and I quickly overpowered her.
She shook her head and dropped her saber, and I did the same with mine.
The room was dimly lit, but I saw her eyes, the flash of emotion in her eyes that even she couldn't contain.
"I feel...warmth, and I don't...I don't know what to do."
Her stone cold eyes softened, and I felt myself wince at the thought of her in pain.
What is happening to me?I have never cared about anyone, I have spent my entire life building a burier around what remained of my heart.
This girl was killing me from the inside out.
So strong, and horridly beautiful. Yet so naive and delicate. I walked her back until she hit the wall.
Her golden eyes flashed as she looked at me..
"P-please. Just make what I'm feeling...just make it stop." And then I kissed her.
I snaked my arms around her tiny waist, my lips devouring her. She was sweet, like candy.
My lips claimed her and I felt her moan under my lips.
I slammed her against the wall, and pinned her arms over her head as I kissed her feverishly.
Our breaths were one, her body fit into mine and I kissed her like my life depended on it.
Once Twice
Three times, and I held her in my arms, her legs hooking around my torso.
Her lips began moving against mine, her sweet candy lips found a rhythm as our kisses deepened.
Her hands found their way into my hair as she tugged.
I pressed myself harder against her, as we breathed hard and fast. She dug her nails into my back as she kissed me back.
Our kissed were like molasses, sweet and slow. I needed her.
I needed Cora to fuel me, I needed her to fill my crave, to fuel my addiction. There was always something missing.
The dark side is a hard life. It's better than the light, but it was always missing something.
Cora was that something.
I hoisted her small frame higher in my arms as I trailed hot kisses down her collar bone and she dug her nails deeper into my skin.
She constricted around me and as my lips claimed all of her I realized that I couldn't live without her.
She was my cure. The cure to everything in this world. I needed Cora Drakon.
And I had no intention of letting her go.
