The Mafia's Daughter

6. DISCLOSURE

Ch. 6 / 90 Apr 24, 2026

~ Asher's POV ~

In all the 24 years he's been alive on earth, Asher had never felt anything like this before. Sure, he's had sex, he's done coke, he's done it all. But the euphoric feeling he felt when he was with her... that was something else.

"Ahhh... ohh.... Ahh..." she was moaning unintelligible words as Asher's lips attacked her neck, sucking harshly on that sweet spot. He inhaled her scent and his brain went fuzzy. She was intoxicating. And not just that. The sensation he felt when he drove inside her...

She feels so... warm. So good it's outta this world...

And with that, they both came almost at the same time. Her wet core clenched so hard around him, it made his thick cock pulse in response. Asher quickly gathered his composure and pulled away just in time, stroking his length with his hand and a stream of white liquid spilled all over her stomach.

Fúck!

Asher was always in control of things, that was one of the things he prided about himself. But that moment right there, he nearly came inside her, losing all sense of control.

Asher's breath was ragged as he emptied himself. His eyes traveled from her stomach up to her chest and to her face. She was just lying there helplessly. Her breathing was labored and her eyes were fluttering shut. She had the most magnificent eyes he'd ever seen. It was this lovely shade of blue and purple. He could stare at it forever. Without him knowing it, a grin spread across his face. He was absolutely enamored. Absolutely satisfied.

I wanna kiss her.

Asher's face leaned down instinctively. But before his lips could capture hers, the girl's eyes went closed shut and her face fell to her side. She... had fallen asleep.

Asher let out a dry chuckle. Seriously. She just went to sleep. Just like that.

Asher looked around him, taking in the garage's situation. Tomorrow was a Sunday and no one was gonna come in. On his journey to New Jersey, Asher made a pit stop to meet a good friend of his who was the owner of this car shop in Brooklyn. Cars, especially fast cars, were Asher's greatest love. In his spare time, he would work in people's garages to build cars. He was allowed to stay in the garage for free in exchange for some work. And since the garage was closed on Sundays, he guessed it would be safe for them to stay here for the night.

Letting out a sigh, Asher picked her up and carried her to the bed on the floor. He let her down gently and pulled a blanket over her naked body. He lay down next to her and found himself staring into her face. She was beautiful to look at, and she didn't even know it.

Slowly, Asher leaned in and kissed the top of her head. She stirred in the bed and her hand reached around his waist. She was cuddling into his chest and Asher froze like a statue. Kissing a girl after sex wasn't usually his go-to move, let alone cuddling. Cuddling was never his thing. He never cuddled. Ever.

Asher paused for a moment, thinking about what to do. He could pull her hand and push her away somewhat. But instead of doing that, he found himself wrapping his arm around her body. And that was the last thing he remembered before falling asleep.

The sunlight was streaming through the window rather harshly that morning. It was a garage, after all. There were no curtains. Asher flinched and opened his eyes, staring at the dirty ceiling above him. He took in a deep breath and his hand moved to his side, catching nothing but air.

What...?

Asher rolled over and saw the empty spot next to him on the bed. He could've sworn just a minute ago, he was lying there next to a girl. Asher looked around the garage and saw no one. He quickly got up, put on his pants from the floor, and roamed the room. The cars were all parked in their usual spot. Everything was in place, nothing was moved or touched.

Except...

Asher turned for the garage door. Just as he suspected, the door was unlocked and it was slightly ajar. He pushed the door back and looked outside. The streets were busy and several people were walking by.

But they weren't her.

Asher let out a sigh as he headed back inside. But as he stepped in, he felt something hard under his feet. He looked down to see a small ring on the floor. It was definitely a girl's ring. It even got a little diamond on it. It couldn't have been here before, he thought. Asher bent down and swiped the ring to get a closer look at it. On the inside of that ring was an engravement and it read: ZVZ.

Is this...?

* RING! * RING! * RING! *

The sudden sound of his phone ringing pierced the air. Asher walked over to the table where his phone was violently vibrating and checked the screen. It read: Mom.

"Hello?" he said as he answered the call. He put the phone in between his ear and his shoulder as he continued picking up his clothes.

"Sweetie! Where are you? I thought you were coming in last night?" his mother's voice echoed through the phone's speaker.

"I, uh, had a pit stop to make,"

"I was waiting all night for you," she said in that disappointed tone. "Can we expect you in for dinner?"

"Uh... yeah. I should be in there by tonight,"

"Okay, we're very excited about you coming home,"

"I'm not coming home, mom," he corrected her. "I'm just there to talk to Uncle D,"

Asher's mom paused for a beat. The excitement in her voice turned into silence.

"Well, fine..." she sighed. "I'm still excited either way,"

"Alright, I'll see you later,"

"Drive safely. I love you, my baby,"

Asher now paused for a beat. Love. It was always a difficult word for him to say in return.

"Love you too, ma," he said finally, and he quickly turned off the call.

Asher checked the clock and it was about 1 o'clock in the afternoon. He didn't realize he had slept this long. He only had a few more hours to get decent and head to his uncle's house. Without wasting any more time, Asher went to pack his clothes into his backpack, put on his shoes, stashed the ring in his jacket's pocket, and headed out the door.

And just as he was about to close the garage door shut, Asher paused for a moment and took one last look at the black mustang car parked in the middle of the garage. The image of her lying on that car... it would be edged into his brain forever.

But damn. I didn't even know her name.

Asher walked up the steps to his uncle Damon's multimillion dollar home and paused for a moment before entering the front door. He was taking in his surroundings. Not much had changed since he left this place ten years ago. Everything felt the same, beautiful and grand. The marbled steps were sleek, the landscaping was impeccable, and the crystal chandelier hanging above the door was shining against the sunset.

This mansion was a stark contrast to the kinds of places Asher was living in these past years. Oh yes, his uncle lived in a whole mansion in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in New Jersey. Everyone in the state knew him as a successful businessman, the governor, or former mayor of Jersey City, but Asher knew Damon as his godfather.

Asher learned from a very young age that his father died while carrying out work with his Uncle Damon. His father and Damon were best friends, so it was only natural that Damon became his godfather. Asher mostly learned about his dad, Adrian Luciano, from his mother and godfather. After his death, Asher's mother, Talia, then married Adrian's long-time friend, Liam, and they had another son that was born two years after him. His name was Landon.

Asher and Landon got along famously. Landon always looked up to Asher as his big brother. Anything that Asher was doing, Landon would wanna do it too. They used to get into so much trouble when they were young, especially when they hung out with Damon's sons who were also of similar ages as Asher and Landon.

Asher couldn't help but smile as he remembered something. One time when he was about eight years old and Landon was six, they were running around in this very home with Damon's sons, Zach, Zander, and Zane. Asher had the brilliant idea to prank the guards by throwing apples at them from the rooftop. The guards didn't know what hit them and they were in a frenzy, thinking there was an enemy attack. But once they saw the apples and heard the sound of the boys giggling, they figured it out. The guards spent all afternoon chasing after the boys, and Asher would always find a way to get out of trouble. Landon, on the other hand, was much slower, so he was always the first one to get caught.

"Asher, yo!"

Suddenly, there was a voice. Asher turned around and saw Zach, Zander, and Zane walking up from the driveway. Their cars were parked nearby, there were Zach's Ferrari and the twin's Lamborghinis.

"Zach, man, how's it going?" Asher beamed and opened his arm to give a dap to Zach, Damon's oldest son who was born just a few months before he was. Zach was like a brother to him. They grew up together and they've been through everything together.

"Not bad, can't complain," Zach laughed and dapped Asher back.

"Ash! Bro, we've been wondering when we'd see you again!" Zander, one of Damon's twins opened his arm to greet Asher next.

"It's been way too long, man!" Zane, his brother, followed shortly after.

"Hold on," Ash paused to study the twins' faces. Then he pointed to each one of them and said, "You're Zane. And you're Zander,"

"Wrong! I'm Zane!" one of them said.

"And I'm Zander!" the other one added.

"What happened to you, you used to be able to tell us apart?" Zane said.

"Man, you're losing your touch!" Zander laughed.

"Wait, really?" Asher cocked his head to the side and studied the twins again.

The twins exchanged a knowing look and burst into a mischievous laugh.

"Nah, we're just messing with you!"

Asher scoffed and shook his head.

"I knew it!" he chuckled.

"Come on, let's get you inside," Zach said as he opened the front door. Meanwhile, Zander and Zane put their arms around Asher and led him in. Asher had no choice but to follow along.

Entering the grand foyer, Asher's eyes caught the row of photographs lining the wall. There were many pictures of his Uncle Damon, his wife Violet, and the kids. There were plenty of photos of Asher when he was a kid too since he spent many days in this house. He caught sight of a photo of him and Zach linking arms as they stood in front of a baseball field. The two of them were in the little league. Asher remembered those days and felt a pang in his chest. After leaving home, Asher was mostly on his own. He forgot what it was like to have brothers, to be surrounded by people that loved him. That realization kind of got to him.

"So, what have you been up to lately?" Zach asked, breaking Asher's train of thought.

"You know, the same old thing," he shrugged.

"I heard you've been working in the garages," Zander chimed in. "Still saving up for that car?"

"You know it,"

"Well, you might just get lucky tonight. Dad's got a special mission for you," Zane said.

"Yeah, what's that about?"

"It's about Zoie,"

"Zoie?" Asher raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"You'll see," Zach said simply as they entered the dining room.

Asher was about to ask more questions, but before he could do that, they heard a loud yell coming from the kitchen and they stopped in their tracks.

"Dad, I'm just gonna be gone for twenty minutes, I swear I'll be back before dinner starts!"

A girl was yelling at the top of her lungs. All the guys turned around and so did Asher. From the other side of the room, he saw his Uncle Damon talking to a young girl, but he couldn't see her because she was standing behind the pillar wall.

"No, Zoie. Whatever it is, it can wait until tomorrow," Damon said simply, then he turned and walked away.

"But, dad!"

Damon was walking in the direction of the boys. Meanwhile, the girl chased after him. And that was the moment Asher saw her face. She had short dark hair that was curled to her shoulders. Her eyes were this magnificent shade of blue and purple, and her lips were strawberry red and perfect to kiss.

Yes, he had in fact, kissed those lips last night. She was the girl from the club!

Asher's eyes jolted wide open as he stared at her. The girl also stopped her tracks when she saw Asher standing there. They were both frozen like a statue, looking at each other in shock and terror. And slowly, Asher looked at Damon and at the girl, putting two and two together.

Dad...?

"Oh, Asher! You made it!" Damon beamed as he came over to hug his godson.

"H-hey... Uncle D..." Asher stuttered as he let Damon hug him.

"You look good, Ash," Damon said proudly, putting his hand on Asher's cheek. "Glad you could make it. Your mom's been pestering me about you coming home,"

Asher didn't know what to do or say at this point. He just kept glancing at Zoie and back at Damon. Seriously. Of all the girls in the world, how could it be that the girl he fúcked last night... was his uncle Damon's daughter?!

"Ah, you remember Zoie?" Damon said as he pulled Zoie to come closer.

Zoie was now standing at an arm's length away. The two of them locked eyes with each other and Asher felt like he was struck by lightning.

Holy fúck.
