“Do you think the plan will work and Viren will kill Rune in the end.” Tanya asks, resting her head on my shoulder and placing a kiss against my neck. I shudder, realizing how sweet my soon to be mate is and relish in the feeling of her touch.
“I hope so.” I sigh out, holding Tanya closer to me. I pinch her chin, lifting her face to meet mine and kiss her lovingly. She moans into the kiss, her hands wrapping around my neck and pressing herself closer to me. I can scent her arousal and feel myself ready to take her, but I have to think about our pup.
“That’s enough Tanya.” I caution, holding her tight.
“We don’t want to harm the pup.” She looks at me with tear-filled lustful eyes, eyes that used to coax me into bed with her on any given day. But until we get the go ahead from the doctor, I will not touch her like I used to no matter how much I want to fuck her senseless.
“But Val, I want you.” She pouts out, giving me a small kiss on my chin. I can feel my resolve shake, feel myself wanting to give in and bend her over my desk, but I hold back. Gently turning her body so that her back is flushed against my chest, I let her feel just how hard I am for her and my cock pushes against her ass. She gasps, grinding into me and I growl in warning, making her stop her movements.
“When you are past the danger zone, I will make love to you. For now, behave my dear.” I state. She nods in defeat finally, allowing me to pull up our plan on my laptop. After the mass email Rune sent out a week ago, we became a laughing stock in the pack. Many wolves demanded to allow Rune to become Alpha and those wolves soon met a swift end. Because of this, I sent orders that anyone who tries to leave Pine Moon will be deemed traitors and hunted down.
Originally, I had sent Viren the email with Brynlee’s picture as a way to keep my son from running after her. Jonnah expected a marriage between our pups and I knew he wanted a strong Mate. I needed to get Brynlee out of the way the same way if got her parents out of my way and the plan seemed to fall into place when Viren killed his father and became Alpha of Onix Moon. If Viren could Mate her, then Rune would have no choice but to go through with the marriage to Tanya.
I was willing to watch my son marry the wolf I once thought as a whore as I had the honour of taking Tanya’s virginity. In the end learned that her young flesh was just what I needed to fill my increasing lust and devised a plan that would allow me to fuck her when my son wasn’t watching. If she had gotten pregnant while mated to my son, we would play it off as his. Now, I no longer care. Rune dug his grave and Viren will be the perfect pawn to burry him in it.
“I can’t wait to end that worthless man’s life so that our pup can become a true Alpha like you and my father.” Tanya continues, pride rushing to my head. I silently agree though. Rune is worthless just like his mother was. I thought she would have been a good submissive Luna but in the end I had to kill her or risk loosing everything to Jonnah. She had started to save videos from our security cameras and I knew that if she gathered enough evidence, she would learn of the real reason Tanya was in our pack. Killing her was the best thing I did as Alpha.
“Do you think our pup will look like you?” Tanya asks, bringing me from my thoughts.
“I am sure they will if it’s a boy. If it’s a girl, I want them to look like you.” I coo to her, watching Tanya preen from my words. I had learned early that this girl is easy to deal with if you complemented her. She became more submissive and compliable when you fawn and treat her like a treasure. As long as she was willing to spread her legs and fulfil my needs, I did what I could to keep her happy.
“I need you to behave tomorrow.” I warn Tanya as a notification on the screen flickers and I sigh. Tomorrow our Council representative will come to speak to us about the email Rune sent. Unfortunately for me, the evidence is irrevocable so I will need to speak to them alone. Tanya will be guarded in our room, out of sight and out of mind. Hopefully, I can come to an understanding with the wolf coming tomorrow and I will be able to keep my status as Alpha. Maybe I can even bargain or bribe him.
“I know.” Tanya sighs out, glaring at the screen.
“I hate that this is all happening but we can only blame Rune. Had he just behaved, none of this would have happened.” She growls out, climbing from my lap to pace the room. I let her be, allowing her to blow off steam. I know deep down it is also our fault getting caught but the safety of my unborn pup inside her stops me from saying those words.
“The one who will suffer the most will be your father. But as long as we explain ourselves, the blow wont be so damaging.” I reassure her instead, standing from the desk chair and walking towards her.
“How about we stop working and go enjoy the night?” I suggest. She smiles as she takes my outstretched hand in hers. With an agreement of going to town for dinner and a movie, Marylin and I leave my office. We pass many Omegas, the wolves shaking in fear as we pass by. I scoff, slowly growing angry as I think to the many wolves that managed to leave my pack without my knowing.
Rune, Jett and Caspian did a good job leading me by the nose but now my borders are locked down and secured. Unless they are trusted wolves of mine, no one leaves Pine Moon any more. If Rogues come to our borders, they are either killed on sight or forced into becoming part of the pack in hopes of reclaiming the strength my son took from me.
Tanya squeezes my hand, worry in her eyes as she peers at me. I take a deep breath and reassure her that I am fine as we leave the pack house and walk towards the waiting car out front. The Omega hands me the keys and I thank him, watching as some of the fear in his eyes diminishes. Once inside, I drive away and remind myself to focus on the pregnant she-wolf beside me. Tonight I will force the problems left by Rune aside. Tomorrow I will focus on growing Pine Moon’s strength for my unborn pup.
