Looking at the sleeping she-wolf on my sofa, I chuckle as I sip on my coffee and focus on my work. Brynlee must not have noticed the sleeping drug I had spread throughout her meal as she happily ate everything. I had a feeling her wolfsbane was starting to wear off meaning my plan will have to be moved up by a day. In two days time I will have to use the drugs my scientists have been working on and force Brynlee into an early heat. From there, it will become easier to Mate her and place my mark on her neck, making her mine until the day we die.
My cock twitches at the thought of filling the she-wolf who’s scent of cinnamon-sugar fills my nose. I stopped using Kiara when she made it known that Brynlee would stop getting to know me if I slept with another wolf, but my desire to fuck something has been growing with every interaction Brynlee and I have had. Hell, the kiss we had earlier nearly made me force her back into my room and onto my bed where I was ready to take her there and then, but the drug isn’t ready and neither is Brynlee.
A flicker of a notification brings my attention back to my computer screen and I click it, seeing a message from Valor. I smile and send my response to my ally before a video call notification pops onto the screen.
“Alpha Viren, how are you?” Valor asks, a smile on his face as his gray eyes move to somewhere off the screen in annoyance.
“I am good. Just been relaxing and getting to know my future Luna.” I answer, leaning back in my chair. A look of understanding flickers in Valor’s eyes as he searches my surroundings but he won’t find what he is looking for even if he was the one that lead me to Brynlee.
“So you found that little whore?” A female voice calls out. I growl a warning to Tanya as she comes into view of the camera and she visibly pales, placing a hand on her stomach. Odd.
“Can I ask that you refrain from growling at my pregnant fiancé.” Valor sighs out, giving me a pleading look. Shocked, I look to the hand that Tanya has over her stomach and her previous action makes sense.
“I guess congratulations are in order.” I state, watching Valor smile.
“Yes they are, but back to Tanya’s question.” He waves my words off dismissively and an annoyed look flashes through Tanya, but it is gone before Valor can notice it.
“Did you find Brynlee Eclipse?” He asks with a sadistic grin spreading across his face. I smile, thinking back to when Valor reached out to me after I became Alpha of Onix Moon. The older wolf had told me that a she-wolf was banished from his pack but was Luna material. He told me her name and gave me a picture of her to memorize so that I could find her as I had already rejected my old mate claiming I needed someone strong. It wasn’t until the email I receive of Rune’s accounts that I learned just how strong Brynlee really was and why Valor wanted me to Mate her.
“I have and she is perfect. I plan to mate her in two days time and make her mine for good.” A satisfied smile spreads across Valor’s face as Tanya lets out a chuckle. It seems that she will no longer marry Rune and that is fine. She is pregnant for Valor and by the looks of things, he will still reap the benefits that comes with Jonnah Cross and Blood Claws as he is the father to that power hungry man’s grandchild.
“How does Jonnah take knowing Tanya is with pup?” I ask, changing the subject. Valor sighs, looking lovingly to Tanya as he pulls her onto his lap. I suppress the eye roll I want to do at their display and decide to look at the sleeping Brynlee for a moment. Soon she will be sitting on my lap in more ways than one.
“He was mad at first but when Tanya told him she loved me, he gave in. Our wedding will happen a month after our pup is born.” The older Alpha answers.
“You are invited to the wedding and so is Brynlee.” Tanya adds and I smirk. I bet she wants to rub it in Brynlee’s face that not only did she steal her mate, she also became Luna and Mate to what would have been Brynlee’s father in law.
“I will let you know when the time comes if Brynlee and I can attend. I plan to have her filled with pups regularly so no clue if she will be leaving the bed, let alone the pack lands.” I shrug, avoiding giving the two wolves a conclusive answer. The conversation switches to talks of our alliance and whether or not I met the new Alpha of Crescent Phoenix. I tell him I had but kept the information that his sister is the Alpha and that Crescent Phoenix is where I found Brynlee. As far as they know, Brynlee is still a Rogue.
“I think I am going to reach out to Crescent Phoenix and see if I can make an alliance with that Alpha. It is rare to meet a female Alpha and I would like Tanya to learn from her on how to take care of a pack and a family.” Valor muses, pressing a kiss to Tanya’s temple. I wish him good luck, stating that I have business to tend to before Brynlee wakes. Ending the call, I close my laptop and make my way to the sofa Brynlee sleeps on. It seems the drug is stronger than I thought it would be and with a grin, I lift her into my arms. I can have a few hours of holding her while she sleeps and relish in the feel of her body pressed against mine.
“Soon you will have my pups just like how Valor has that whore Tanya.” I whisper, pressing a kiss to her lips as I carry her from my office. Tobby and Garret straighten when I exit the room, the two men following behind me as we make our way to my bedroom. With Garret’s help, I step through the door he opens and thank my men as Garret closes the door. I decide to not take Brynlee to her room and instead place her on my bed where I crawl in beside her. It fees nice having her beside me, feeling her shuffle closer to me in her sleep until she settles. I know her actions are the results of the drugs, but I still feel myself ready to strip her bare and take her right now.
“Soon.” I whisper to myself, slowly playing with her hair as I watch her sleep.
