He’s coming.

His feet thrust within the ground as his scent drew closer, desperation hung in the air as my connection with the Alpha continued to grow. Blood coated his paws with anger and resentment tearing through his mind, there was a sickness within the air as his ragged breath tore through his lungs. I wanted to comfort the anxieties that tore through his mind as he attempted to close the distance between us with nothing but our shared connection leading him, he was a beast driven mad.

He’s being reckless, I thought as my hands glided along Storms' forearms.

Sweat hung in the air as his weight pressed down on mine, pressure built within my abdomen as I tilted my head back and released a straggled breath, the intense sensation that built within my limbs spread throughout my body as I attempted to hold back my frustrated moans. I raked my hands through his knotted blonde locks and yet that wasn’t enough to distract me from his roaming hands as they raked over my body.

“He’s going to kill you!” I breathed from frustration.

“Good, let the bastard come,” Storm muttered against my neck.

This cannot be the only way to draw him here, I thought as I gritted my teeth.

Storm’s shirt hung loosely over my arms with my shoulders exposed, the warm air drifted along my skin as Storm trailed his tongue along my neck causing a shiver to travel down my spine. I dug my nails into his skin as he extended his canines and drew the incisors across my delicate skin, my eyes trailed up the walls as I attempted to focus on my mate who was slowly closing the distance between us.

This damned bond, I thought frustratingly.

“Tell that brother of mine that he owes me one,” Storm said before he pierced my skin.

“No!” I shouted as my irises dilated.

Chaos, my vision blurred crimson as the walls crumbled from around us.

“You bloody bastard!” I screamed as I tore my nails into Storms' arms and tore him away from me.

“You wanted my help!” He snapped as blood seeped from the deep gashes within his biceps.

“I didn’t ask you to dig your filthy canines into me!” I shouted angrily as the ground trembled from below up.

“What have you done?” he asked concerned now as he gazed around at our surroundings.

“This is your fault!” I shot angrily.

“How is this my fault?” he demanded.

“You damn Ayers,” I said angrily as the illusion that hung over my body dissipated.

The blond receded to my roots and exposed my dark brown hair with my almond eyes overtaking the once blue hue that possessed my eyes, I allowed the illusion to drop as the power within me grew unstable.

“Don’t get in my way,” I said as I gritted my teeth angrily before rubbing at my marked neck.

The plaster within the wall cracked the moment I stepped away from Storm and yet I couldn’t care less at that moment if it crumbled down on the abominable man, if it didn’t crush him the Odin surely would as his mark was now on my skin. I rubbed at my neck desperately as the wall before me shattered and revealed the thick trees that I had once walked across, the image of yearning for a childhood within these lands receded as my attention shifted to the mad Alpha who now sensed my presence.

“Caoimhe!” Storm called out concerned now as I stepped over the fresh rubble with the shards piercing my bare feet.

“Thank you for bringing me here,” I muttered as a gentle smile caressed my lips.

“Can you kill him?” Storm asked as concern caressed his beautiful blue eyes.

“That hatred you feel towards the man who bore you life will end today,” I said before proceeding forward while avoiding his question.

“You’re a horrible liar,” he said.

“Don’t get in the way,” I said before closing my eyes and focusing on the ground from beneath me.

The shadow of Conri shimmered from below me with his large form manifesting within moments, he was a soul that was bound to me since the moment his life ended centuries ago. I glanced at the wolf's large form with his cold blue eyes greeting mine, it was at that moment that I knew the only way to end my suffering was to end original Ayer life. I smiled slightly as I reached out for his soft fur, the tendrils of blue-black fur caressed my palm as I found my way along the centre of his back, his muscles flexed from under my palm as he lowered his weight and allowed me to climb over his built frame.

He’s here, I thought as Odin’s presence coursed through me like lightning hitting the earth.

“If you leave me again then I will kill you,” Odin snarled through our shared mind link.

He’s mad, I thought sullenly as I lowered my body weight upon the large wolf from under me.

“Let’s go before he gets angrier,” I murmured next to Conri’s soft ears.

“You will have to catch me first,” I replied as a grin caressed my lips.

“Watch me, Mate,” Odin growled as I finally tasted him upon the wind.

The ground quivered from below me as the souls of the dead rose from the dead earth that resided from below us, their shadowy figures wavered before me as Elijah was finally made aware of the incoming attack.

Let’s see how deeply the insanity flows, I thought.

Conri’s powerful paws tore through the ground as he charged past the trees that should have hosted my childhood memories, I bit my tongue and clenched my eyes closed as a sense of humanity danced upon my mind instead I was a monster that my father Svarog created. Bodies surrounded us as the armies of Elijah surrounded us with the sand tearing apart from around me, I opened my eyes to reveal a deepened silver, the roots of my hair dyed a colourless white as the sun beat down upon me.

Today it ends, I thought as I met Odin’s gaze at the corner of my eye.
