The Chosen Luna: Alpha’s Unwanted Daughter

The Crescent Howl’s Verdict

Ch. 553 / 790 May 05, 2026

The Crescent Howl pack’s camp sprawled chaotically through the dense forest, its rough-hewn structures radiating an aura of hostility. Smoke rose from scattered fire pits, the acrid scent mingling with the earthy tang of pine and dirt. The omega stumbled as the warriors dragged her into the center of the camp, her grip on Bella tightening. Around her, wolves emerged from their tasks, drawn by the commotion. Their stares burned with suspicion, their murmurs a rising tide of disapproval.

The pack leader strode out of a large central tent, his towering frame immediately commanding attention. His fur-lined cloak swayed as he moved, his golden eyes narrowing as they landed on the trembling omega and the wailing baby. His presence was suffocating, a silent warning of his absolute authority.

“Who are they?” he demanded, his voice sharp and cutting through the noise.

“Trespassers,” one of the warriors replied, his grip tightening on the omega’s arm. She winced but didn’t let go of Bella. “She crossed into our territory and begged for refuge.”

The leader’s gaze swept over the omega, his lip curling in contempt. “Refuge?” he repeated, the word dripping with mockery. “This is Crescent Howl territory. We don’t take in strays.”

The omega’s voice cracked as she spoke, her desperation evident. “Please,” she whispered, her knees threatening to give way. “We have nowhere else to go. The baby... she needs shelter.”

The leader’s expression darkened, his tone colder than the forest night. “Trespassers face only one punishment here. You should have known better.”

Her breath caught, a cold wave of dread washing over her as the warriors began to drag her away. “No! Please!” she screamed, her voice echoing through the camp. “We’ll work for you, I’ll do anything! Just don’t hurt her!”

Bella let out a piercing cry, her small fists flailing as one of the warriors pried her from the omega’s arms. The omega’s cries turned frantic as she fought against their hold, her terror boiling over. “Please!” she wailed. “She’s done nothing wrong!”

The pack leader waved a dismissive hand, his smirk cruel. “We won’t hurt her,” he said mockingly. “She’ll grow up knowing her place—a slave for the pack.”

The omega’s screams grew hoarse as she was dragged out of sight, her pleas falling on deaf ears. Bella’s cries echoed alongside hers, the infant’s protests lost in the commotion. The pack’s wolves watched in silence, their expressions indifferent or mildly amused.

The warrior holding Bella glanced at the leader, his expression uneasy. “What do we do with this?” he asked, nodding toward the squirming baby.

The leader’s smirk deepened, his golden eyes gleaming with cruelty. “You heard the Alpha. Keep it. Let it learn the rules the hard way.”

Bella’s fate was sealed in that moment. Her life, stripped of innocence before it had even begun, was reduced to servitude in a pack that valued strength above all else. As the crowd dispersed, the baby’s cries faded into the background, blending with the sounds of a pack too brutal to care.

The omega’s screams were silenced shortly after, leaving only the rustle of the forest and the sharp crackle of the campfires. Bella, barely more than a bundle of cloth and tears, was carried deeper into the Crescent Howl pack’s unforgiving world.
