The Red light in the operation theatre was turned off and the doctor came out and looked at the people waiting anxiously.
Steffanie got up from her seat and looked came forward towards the doctor.
"How is Wanda, doctor?"
The doctor shook his hand and spoke. "She is stable, now. The good thing is she had some reaction before blacking out. So, we think she will awake soon. But I am warning you not to pressurize her or she might go back to sleep again. She needs a lot of rest and less stress."
Steffanie grabbed his hand and thanked him and the doctor just smiled and patted her back and went ahead towards his chamber.
Hudson came and took her in his arms. Trying to comfort her.
"She will be fine aunt Steff, come and sit down." He made her sit on the chair and sighed with relief.
Now that Wanda was out of danger and she might regain her consciousness might, it was a good sign as they would definitely come to know about the killer from her as she had seen him for sure or the killer wouldn't have killed him.
"Hudson, Wanda is fine now. You can go back to your company as they need you. I will call you if anything comes up." Steffanie said softly.
"That's alright, I can stay for some time." Hudson said sternly.
Just then Steffanie's phone started ringing.
She saw that it was from Jackson and picked it up immediately.
She spoke to him for about a minute and then ended the call.
"Hudson, Jackson is coming back from his trip tomorrow. So, can you stay with Wanda tomorrow?" Steffanie asked.
"Of course, aunt Steff you need not have to ask. You can take a rest at home. After all uncle would want you to be with him after returning. And he does not have any clue about what happened to Wanda. So, you should be at home and tell him everything." Hudson said.
"Okay honey, now you better go. Don't worry about Wanda, I am here." She said sternly.
"Alright aunt Steff, I am going but not to my company but to see Callie. She is investigating something and so I better go and help her. I will see you in the evening. I will bring Callie along with me."
"You do that Hudson, I want you to with be Callie. Ask her to marry you. You will never find such a caring and loving girl. In short she is just like her mother Emily." Steffanie said lovingly.
"I will Aunt Steff and I will make sure to love her endlessly." Hudson smiled and got up and headed towards the exit of the ward.
Steffanie looked at her nephew with love and tears came rolling down her cheeks.

Hudson walked out to the parking and called up Callie, the phone rang many times but still she did not pick up the phone.
Finally he called up Liam and the same response. He came out and got inside the car and rushed and drove towards Clarke international.
He was halfway when his phone started ringing and he picked it up without looking at the caller.
"Hudson." It was Jayden and he could hear the panic voice in his voice. "I am trying to call Callie but her number is not getting connected. Is she with you? Kay arrived in the morning and came straight from the airport to see me at the hospital. If you two are together. Come over."
Hudson wasn't sure whether he should tell Jayden about the current situation but decided to check first and then inform him.
"She is at the office probably busy. Don't worry I will bring her along with me. Say hello to Kay from my side." He said and ended the call.

Callie was blindfolded and was carried in. She was really scared but did not react at all She had woken up a few minutes back and was about to scream but refrained from screaming.
She could feel the man carrying her was very sturdy while he was carrying her. It looked like he was well built as she was not so light but he was carrying her very easily.
Suddenly he stopped and put her down. Then carrying her. He laid her on something. She was trying to see through her blindfold but it was impossible.
"Now, what do we do? And for how long will she be like this?" One of the men whispered.
"Nothing, both of you should go back and act as if nothing had happened and keep your ears and eyes open and let me know if anything goes wrong. Now that we have abducted her, people will be on their guard and will be searching all around. You know what to do further, I need not explain to you. And as for her the medicine's effect will be there for some hours, so I will let her rest." Another domineering voice whispered. And I felt like I had heard that voice before.
"What about her? What will you do to her? I think she might have discovered something in the office today, otherwise why would Liam guard the office while she was working." Another voice whispered.
One of them laughed and said. "She will be mine from now on till I get bored. She is a mute kitten anyways, it would be fun to have her."
"But she is Emily's daughter and Hudson's woman, she won't allow you to touch her." One of them pointed out.
"Adams, Emily was stubborn and unreasonable but Callie is naïve and dumb so it will be easy for me to keep her and besides who needs anyone's permission. What I want I have it, so you don't have to bother about it. Now go or people will be suspicious about you." The domineering voice spoke with authority.
I was holding my breath Henry Adams was involved too. No wonder I had been suspicious all the way along but who were the other two. I do think hard but failed to recognize.
After they left I could feel someone standing very close to me. I relaxed myself and then I felt him unbind my fold.
He removed it and caressed my face softly. I was really disgusted.
"Callie, you are so beautiful." He whispered, softly. " And your eyes are beautiful like your mother's. I can never get her of mind, even when she has long gone but from the time I saw you and realized that you were Emily's daughter, I thank god for sending me my Emily back as you are her flesh and blood. I will make you mine and keep you with me forever. Rest my darling, for tomorrow, will be a beautiful day. I will make all the arrangements and take you away to a place, where no one will find us. I know you will hate me but I don't have any choice. The more I see you, the more I want to possess you."
After speaking his mind he caressed my face again then blindfolded me again and after some time I heard the door open and then close and then he was gone.
I tried to free my hand but it was tied so tightly and I tried to kick but my legs were also tied. I was so helpless and after struggling for some time I felt drowsy and fell asleep.

Hudson was squatting down and trying to wake up Liam who had fainted outside the office. Finally, after pouring a jug of water Liam woke up in a daze.
"Boss, what happened? Why am I wet?" He said looking at his wet clothes.
"You tell me Liam!" he exclaimed with anger. "Where is Callie?"
Liam tried to think, then suddenly he answered. "Boss I was standing outside the office but I don't know how I fell asleep. What happened to Miss Clarke?"
Hudson was angered to the core. He had already checked the office but she was not there and so he tried to get Liam out of his daze. All the guards who were supposed to guard her were lying sprawled all around the office, even office people were sleeping in their respective places.
Someone had deliberately made everyone sleep and had taken Callie away.
"Liam run and check the CCTV footage, I am sure we will find something." Hudson said nervously.
Liam ran towards the room.
"Callie where are you? Oh, why did I leave you alone?" Hudson spoke to himself and banged his hand on the table.
Other people dared not say anything or they knew the consequences.
Just then Scott who had gone outside for some meeting return.
Looking at his office in a mess he was shocked and walked slowly towards his cabin. Then he saw Hudson standing outside the CEO's office in a daze.
"Hudson Ford, what happened here? " He questioned with concern.
Hudson looked at him and as he came near him he explained everything.
Just then Liam came back and reported that CCTV footage was tampered with and nothing could be retrieved.
Hudson banged his hand with anger again. Everyone was shocked, they had never seen their boss so angry.
Scott dragged him inside his office and said. "Hudson come down, we need to check all the CCTV footage and no one knows that I have fixed an extra camera in CEO's cabin just after Callie and Jayden joined the office as I did not want to take the risk with their security. Wait I will check it now and see if we can find something."
Hudson looked at him with gratefulness and Scott switched on his system and what they saw was not at all good. They were four men who had abducted Callie but they were Wearing masks. So they couldn't see their face.
Hudson was clenching his fist and his knuckles had turned red. His mind went blank for a second. Something exploded in his mind !
It seemed everything was empty, as if everything in front of him was blank ! only Callie's face came into his mind.
Suddenly his phone started ringing and he saw it was Jayden.
He picked up the phone and was about to say something when Jayden said. " Hudson tell me the truth where is Callie I want to talk to her."
Hudson took a deep breath and told him everything. "It's all my fault Jayden, I shouldn't have left her alone."
Jayden on the other end was shocked to his senses and tears came rolling down his cheeks he was never this weak and Scarlett held his hand.
"Hudson it's not your fault. Callie must have come to know something that's why she was kidnapped. You better come down here as I have to tell you something. I have received a mail from her. It's Mom's journals. Stop blaming yourself and get yourself here, we need to focus now on how to find her." Jayden made him understand.
After hanging up Hudson explained the situation to Scott that Jayden has called him to the hospital to discuss the situation. And did not reveal anything about the journal. He told Scott to call the police and instructed Liam to take care of everything and rushed out of the office.

Callie's POV
I had slept for quite some time and woke up abruptly to realize where I was. my throat had gone all dry and I wanted to drink something I licked my lips.
"You know, you look very tempting when you do that, here have a glass of water." I heard the man speak and I was sure it was the same domineering voice I had heard earlier.
I couldn't say anything as I did not want my kidnaper to know that I could speak or he would be alert I had to buy some time for Hudson, so that he could locate me. My hands were tied so I couldn't express myself. Suddenly the blinds were unfolded and my heartbeat stopped. But when I opened my eyes I saw a masked man wearing a hat looking at me. I could read his expression as his face was covered.
"You want to say something?" He said softly.
I nodded my head and he brought a pen and a paper and untied my hand. Another man was standing with a gun pointing at me.
I took the pen and wrote on the paper.
"Water."
The guy gestured for someone and he brought me a glass of water. After drinking it, I wrote on the paper again.
"What do you want? Why have you kidnapped me? What have I done?"
The guy simply laughed and said. "Callie you are so curious and do you know look very cute when you make your face like that. You will drive anyone crazy with your innocence. Well since you are so curious I will tell you. I was once very close to your mother and wanted to be with her forever but she rejected me. But she left you behind for me. And as for why I kidnapped you, you will know it very soon so be obedient and cooperate or I will kill Hudson and your brother."
"Why are doing this? Are you the one who killed my mother?" I wrote on the paper without hesitation. I somehow had a gut feeling.
After a few seconds the man replied. "Yes."
And I was shaking and scared now, as I was dealing with the mad man. Oh, Hudson please come and save me. I prayed silently.
"But why?" I wrote.
