Seductive Trinity of Mates

Chapter 27

Ch. 27 / 30 Jul 24, 2025

The temple doors burst open with enough force to crack the ancient hinges.

“Stop this ceremony!” Elder Thornwick’s voice echoed through the sacred chamber as he stormed down the aisle, his ceremonial robes billowing behind him. “This abomination will not be sanctified in our holy place!”

The assembled crowd erupted into chaos—shouts, arguments, the scrape of steel as hands moved to weapons. But I didn’t move from the altar. Neither did my three mates.

“You’re too late,” Lilith said, her voice carrying across the din with supernatural authority. “The ritual has already begun.”

“Then we’ll stop it by force!” Another Elder stepped forward, flanked by temple guards. “The Council will not permit this blasphemy!”

“The Council,” Astrid snarled, her hand dropping to her sword hilt, “can go to hell.”

“Astrid.” Nyx’s voice was ice and steel. “Let them speak. Let them condemn themselves with their own words.”

Elder Thornwick pointed an accusatory finger at us. “Three mates! It’s unnatural! An insult to every sacred tradition!”

“Tradition?” I stepped forward, letting my voice carry to every corner of the temple. “You want to talk about tradition while enemy armies mass at our borders? While our people die for lack of unity?”

“Better to die pure than live corrupted!”

“Pure?” Lilith laughed, but the sound held no humor. “You call division pure? You call weakness sacred?”

“We call it holy law!”

“Then your law is about to change.” I drew my ceremonial blade, the steel singing as it cleared the sheath. “Because this bond will be sealed tonight, with or without your blessing.”

“You cannot force the moon goddess to bless what she abhors!”

“Watch me.”

I sliced the blade across my palm, letting blood drip onto the altar stone. The moment it touched the marble, the entire temple blazed with silver light.

“The goddess speaks!” someone shouted from the crowd.

“Impossible,” Elder Thornwick breathed.

“Nothing’s impossible,” Astrid said, stepping forward to slash her own palm. Her blood joined mine on the altar, and the light intensified. “When you stop limiting yourself to what’s been done before.”

Nyx moved next, her blade drawing a clean line across her palm. “Some things,” she said as her blood joined ours, “are bigger than tradition.”

“And some things,” Lilith said, placing her bleeding hand over all of ours, “are destiny.”

The temple exploded with silver fire. Every crystal in the walls sang with harmonious resonance. The very air crackled with power so intense that several Elders fell to their knees.

“The Triple Bond is sealed!” Lilith’s voice carried the authority of prophecy itself. “Witnessed by the goddess and sanctified by blood!”

“This is not over!” Elder Thornwick struggled to his feet, his face twisted with rage. “The other territories will never accept this!”

“They already have,” Nyx said with cold satisfaction. “Representatives from six allied territories are here tonight. They came to witness history.”

“What?”

“Did you think we’d attempt this ceremony without political backing?” I smiled, and it was sharp as winter steel. “The territorial leaders voted. Three to one in favor of recognizing the Triple Bond.”

“Impossible!”

“Necessary.” A new voice rang through the temple as Alpha Stormclaw stepped from the shadows, flanked by other territorial leaders. “The prophecy is our only hope against the Alliance. We choose to embrace it.”

Elder Thornwick stared at the assembled Alphas, his face going pale. “You’ve all lost your minds.”

“We’ve found our courage,” Alpha Moonwhisper corrected. “Something you lost long ago.”

“The ceremony is complete,” Lilith announced, her silver light still blazing around us. “The Triple Bond is sealed and recognized. Any who challenge it challenge the combined might of seven territories.”

The Elders looked between the assembled Alphas and the blazing altar, finally understanding that they’d lost this battle before it began.

“This will end in disaster,” Elder Thornwick said, but his voice lacked conviction.

“Maybe,” I agreed. “But it will end with us fighting together instead of dying alone.”

My chambers had been transformed. Gone were the military furnishings and weapon racks. In their place stood a massive bed carved from moonstone, surrounded by crystals that pulsed with gentle light.

“Appropriate,” Astrid said, running her hand along the carved headboard. “A throne room for what comes next.”

“What comes next,” Lilith said, closing the door behind us, “is us.”

“All of us,” Nyx added, moving to stand before me. “Together.”

I looked at these three incredible women who’d just defied an entire Council to bind themselves to me. “Are you sure about this?”

“Are you?” Astrid stepped closer, her green eyes blazing with challenge. “Because once we do this, there’s no going back. No pretending this is just politics or prophecy.”

“I don’t want to go back.”

“Good.” Lilith moved to my other side, her fingers already working at the laces of my formal shirt. “Because we have no intention of letting you.”

“This is your coronation,” Nyx said, her hands joining Lilith’s in removing my clothes. “Your real coronation. Not some ceremony with crowns and witnesses.”

“But with blood and bond and bodies,” Astrid added, pulling her own battle leathers off with efficient movements.

“And with choice,” Lilith whispered against my throat. “This is our choice. All of us choosing each other.”

What followed wasn’t gentle. It was claiming and being claimed, dominance and submission flowing between us like a tide. Astrid’s teeth at my shoulder, marking me as hers. Nyx’s hands pinning my wrists, taking control with ruthless efficiency. Lilith’s mouth everywhere, her silver light playing across our skin like captured starlight.

“Say it,” Astrid demanded, her nails raking down my chest. “Say you’re ours.”

“I’m yours.”

“All of ours,” Nyx corrected, her voice rough with desire.

“All of yours.”

“And we’re yours,” Lilith breathed against my ear. “Forever.”

The bond exploded between us like lightning given form. I felt their pleasure as my own, their desires mixing with mine until I couldn’t tell where one ended and another began. We moved together like we’d been doing this for years instead of minutes, like fate had choreographed every touch.

When it was over, we lay tangled together in the moonlight, breathing hard and changed forever.

“So,” Astrid said after a long moment, “what now?”

“Now,” I said, pulling all three of them closer, “we rule.”

“Together,” Lilith added.

“As one,” Nyx finished.

“The Triple Crown,” I said, and felt the rightness of it settle into my bones.

Outside, I could hear the sounds of celebration—our people welcoming their new queens, our allies toasting the future, our enemies surely plotting revenge.

But inside this room, surrounded by the women who’d chosen to bind their lives to mine, I felt something I’d never experienced before.

Complete.

I am the Alpha of the High Pact. The Lycan Crown is no longer just a birthright. It’s a bond sealed in blood, bone, and love.
