(3rd person P.O. V)
Erika and Logan sat at the head of the long table in the conference room. The representatives of all kinds of supernatural beings gathered together to discuss the recent events that had been taking place in the supernatural world.
They are discussing Victor, the powerful and dangerous vampire who had been causing chaos and destruction all over the world. Everyone of thinking what he was planning to do next and how they could stop him.
"Why is Victor doing this? What is his purpose?" One council member, Darius, asked.
"From the information we have gathered, Victor is seeking power and control. He is collecting the corpses of our ancestors, to collect knowledge and abilities of our ancestors."
"We need to find Victor and put a stop to his plans. But how do we do that?"
"Perhaps Erika can use the method she used before to find Victor again." Another council member, Leif, suggested.
"No. We cannot risk Erika's life like that again." Logan said, glaring at him. Leif flinched and looked away from him.
"How are we going to find Victor?"
"I have prepared a search party for it. I will train and instruct them with the knowledge I have gained when I was inside his mind. So that they can gain his information without getting caught by him."
"What about people we have rescued from Victor?"
"Author has his people investigating and gathering as much information as possible. Even if they remember little, any bit of information can help us. They will remain under my watch until the war is over. I will check if they are free from any manipulation spells. or not, and send them back home."
"Why are you not sending them back to their families? There are many families that are creating a fuss over my castle, asking why are we sending their family member back after rescuing them,"
"We don't know the people we rescued are bound in the spell or not. And if they are, then what type of spell it is, if we send them to their families,"
"Your majesty, the Author told me that Victor is going to declare war on us. How are you planning to deal with it?"
"I don't know about how and when is he going to declare war. After I invaded his mind, I think it's going to happen soon and have placed my army in all the places where I think he will attack us."
"I wanted you to be ready with your warriors, to help me in a war if need arises. "
"I plan to take the children to the museum. They need to know our history to fight better."
The council members raised their voices in protest, but Erika silenced them.
"It's not a picnic, it's mandatory learning. The children should know who is going to fight against them."
The council members then asked Erika what her plans were for the war.
"I'll wait for information about Victor's plans, or for him to make a move. If he doesn't, I'll set a trap for him."
They then discussed all the information Erika had gathered from Victor, including his probable location and plans. They talked about the different strengths and weaknesses of each species and how they could work together to defeat Victor.
After the council meetings ends, Erika slouched down on her throne feeling tired. She complains to Logan how it would be if only she could find him and get rid of him for once and for all. Logan comforted her and offer to give her a massage.
Erika gets up from her throne and order her maid to gather all the people in her search party to come and meet her in the training ground. She makes calls to prepare for the museum trip with the children.
Erika stood in the center of the training grounds, surrounded by the search party members. She looked at each of them with a serious expression before beginning her instructions.
"Listen,"
"The skills I'm about to teach you are ancient, passed down from our ancestors. They are not to be taken for granted. They are not to be used for personal gain. Victor has abused his power, and we cannot afford to do the same."
She paused for a moment, letting her words sink into their mind.
"The first spell I will teach you is an invisible spell. This will allow you to hide your presence from someone. You need to get one with nature while keeping your existence as your own species to use that spell. Let me warn you, it will tighten all your senses. You will sense the life force of every living thing in nature. This can be overwhelming. You should not use it for too long."
Erika looked around at the group, making sure they were all paying attention.
"It is a very dangerous spell. You must only use this spell in adverse or dangerous situations, and only when you sense Victor near you. It will protect you, but if you abuse it, you will face the consequences."
"Remember, we are not like Victor. We must use our skills for good, not for personal gain. Our ancestors developed these skills to protect our people, and we must honor their legacy."
"I have prepared a new place to practice that spell and perfect it. I will take you all there." With that Erika teleport them to her space, which consists nothing but nature and nothing to disturb them.
"The first step for that spell is meditation, to become one with the nature."
Erika guided them through every step and even stopped them when she saw they were suffering from side effect like becoming stones. It takes a few days for them to perfect it, but they become expect in it. On their last training day, Erika give them instructions before she send them off to do their mission.
As she spoke, Erika's eyes flickered with intensity. She knew that the fate of this world depends on their success.
"It doesn't matter how insignificant the information is,".
"Every piece of information is valuable. If you find anything, no matter how small, report it to me. It could be the key to our success."
The search party nodded in agreement, their eyes alight with determination.
As the training session drew to a close, Erika gave the search party one last reminder.
"Stay focused and stay alert. We are counting on you to help us win this war." With that, she dismissed the group, sending them off to begin their mission with renewed purpose and confidence.
