From Wife To Mistress

Chapter 2

Ch. 2 / 30 Oct 16, 2025

The apartment door clicked open at midnight. Andrew's silhouette filled the doorway, shoulders hunched, trying to slip past unnoticed.

"Stop." My voice cut through the darkness.

He froze. I’d been sitting in the armchair facing the entrance, lights dimmed to shadows, a thin, beautiful nightgown clinging like a whisper while the rage cooled into something useful. The amber streetlight through the window painted gold stripes across his guilty face.

"Angie, I thought you'd be—"

"Asleep?" I rose from the chair, my movement fluid, predatory. "Like a good, tired wife?"

"I was just out walking. You know how I need—"

I crossed the room in three strides and grabbed his collar, fingers twisting into the fabric. My other hand caught his jaw, forcing his face toward mine. He smelled like her—Hannah's perfume, something floral and cloying that made my stomach burn.

"Don't explain anything." The word came out low, dangerous.

His eyes widened. I yanked him closer, our faces inches apart.

Something shifted in his expression—fear mixing with something else. His pulse jumped under my fingers where they pressed against his throat.

"Angie—"

"Shut up." I pushed him back against the door, my body following, pinning him. "You wanted passion? You whined about desire?" My mouth found his neck, teeth grazing skin. "Let me show you what that really means."

He tried to pull away. "Wait, we should talk—"

"No." I bit down hard where his neck met his shoulder, feeling him gasp. "No more talking. No more whining. No more performances."

My hands tore at his shirt, buttons scattering across the hardwood floor. He grabbed my wrists, trying to slow me down, but I twisted free and shoved him toward the couch.

"Angie, this isn't you—"

"You're right." I pulled my nightgown over my head, throwing it aside, and I pushed him down onto the couch, straddling him before he could move. My nails raked down his chest, leaving red trails.

"Stop—"

"No." I grabbed his hair, yanking his head back. "You don't get to direct this scene."

His resistance crumbled. His hands came up to grip my hips, finally matching my intensity. The careful, rehearsed lover disappeared, replaced by something raw and desperate.

"Is this what you wanted?" I ground against him, feeling his erection pressing against me through his pants, growing harder by the second despite his earlier protests. "This wildness you claimed I couldn't give you?"

"God, Angie—"

There was a sound of fabric tearing as I ripped open Andrew's pants to free his erect penis, my eyes never leaving his.

"Not God. Just me. The wife you love."

He looked surprised and aroused as I guided his erection to my wet entrance, before lowering myself onto him hard and fast.

I fucked him then, not with love but with fury, not with tenderness but with teeth and nails and a violence that bordered on revenge. Every movement was a claim, a punishment, a reclamation of power he'd tried to steal.

He responded like a man drowning, grabbing at me with a desperation he'd never shown in our marriage bed. The couch creaked under us, threatening to break from the force of our collision.

Our uncoordinated thrusts were in time with each other as we lost ourselves in the moment, gasping for air and leaving marks on each other's necks and shoulders.

"Please—" He gasped, but whether he was begging me to stop or continue, neither of us knew.

"Shut up." I bit his lip hard enough to taste copper. "Just feel."

The hatred fueled something primal, something that had been sleeping under years of corporate meetings and polite dinners. This wasn't making love. This was a war, and I was winning.

When he tried to flip me over, to take control, I slammed him back down. "No. You wanted passion? You wanted fire?" I moved harder, faster, watching his face contort. "This is what it looks like when it's real."

His fingernails dug into my thighs. "Angie, I can't—"

"Yes, you can." I leaned down, my mouth against his ear. "You can take everything I give you."

He also felt my nails dig into his hips, drawing blood, as I hurtled towards orgasm while impaled on him.

I experienced the sensation of my inner walls clenching around him as I was cumming, triggering his own release deep inside me.

The sound of our heavy breathing and ragged moans echoed off the walls.

It was violent—a shattering that left us both gasping, bodies slick with sweat and spotted with small wounds from nails and teeth. I collapsed against his chest for a moment, feeling his heart race against mine.

Then I stood, leaving him sprawled on the couch, looking destroyed.

"Angie..." His voice was hoarse, uncertain. "What was that?"

"That was goodbye to the woman you married." I picked up my clothes without covering myself, letting him see the marks he'd left, the evidence of our war. "And hello to the one you created."

"We need to talk about this. About what just happened—"

"No." I walked toward the bedroom, pausing at the doorway.

"This doesn't fix anything," he called after me.

I turned, smiling that sharp smile I'd discovered earlier. "I'm not trying to fix anything, Andrew. I'm done fixing. Done managing. Done being tired." The taste of blood—his or mine—lingered on my tongue like iron, like resolve. "This doesn't heal us. It arms me."

"Arms you for what?"

"You'll see."

I closed the bedroom door, locking it behind me. Through the wood, I could hear him moving around, probably looking for his shirt buttons, trying to make sense of what had just happened.

Let him wonder. Let him worry.

The frightened, passive wife was dead. What remained was something harder, sharper, infinitely more dangerous. The collision of hatred and desire had forged something new—not love, not forgiveness, but a terrible clarity.

I touched the bruises forming on my throat, my hips, my thighs. Each one a small victory, a sign that I could take pain and transform it into power.

Outside the door, Andrew's footsteps paced back and forth. Would he leave? Would he go running to Hannah with his confusion, his fear, his newly awakened desire?

I didn't care.

For the first time in years, I knew exactly who I was: a woman who could hate and hurt and take what she wanted without apology.

The path ahead was dark, lined with sharp edges and necessary cruelties.

I could hardly wait to walk it.
