Chapter Ten
The rich spicy scent of Ella’s favorite Irish whiskey spread across his senses with each word she spoke. Almost twenty years Garrett had waited for her, for another taste of her mouth, her lips, her tongue. The sensual kiss they shared on her eighteenth birthday had started their journey of love. The kiss she welcomed him with at the Cowboy Corral kept the intensity of its original fire. You were never Greg’s. You were mine. Always mine.
His lips met hers as the limo hit a pothole and bounced them with the perfect amount of force to bring them closer together. Electricity skittered over his skin as he controlled every movement and relished each moment of their bodies and souls coming together as one.
I’m never letting you go.
“I’m so close,” she whispered in a lazy, sexy rasp.
Garrett groaned as he buried his cock deep into her pussy. “Come for me.”
Making love to her all night long until they passed out from exhaustion wouldn’t sate the decades of desire he’d held back from acting on because she married the wrong brother.
“I love you.” She came apart around him. Her pussy clamped down in strong, pulsing waves around his cock.
“I love you.” He’d never loved vanilla sex, but this was different. This was a beginning. This held a promise of forever. He shuddered. His heart opened up a new place for her, a place he’d kept closed until now.
He would show her his kinky side soon. He would help her discover her true sexuality, the one she suppressed to be with Greg. The one she should have enjoyed all these years.
“Don’t leave me again.” A relaxed sigh came from her mouth as she fell asleep under him.
He wasn’t leaving ever again. He was in her life to stay for good. She wasn’t married to his twin anymore. No one stood in his way. No competition. No promises to anyone else. Nothing holding them back from being together. And, she missed him, nearly attacked him when they saw each other. He’d never had a better homecoming in his life.
He held onto the base of the condom as he withdrew from her. He knotted the top and dropped it into a small plastic bag on the floor. Once his test results were posted in his patient portal—hopefully tonight—condoms would be a thing of the past.
With a smile on his face, he pulled another condom from the box under the seat, in case she woke up hungry for him. He’d waited to have her for years. Now she was his.
A phone rang from inside her purse. He dug through her purse and looked at the screen. Cade Jackson. Huh? He’d have to check the guy out. Clients shouldn’t call after midnight.
“Hello?” He answered her phone.
“Is Ella there?” the man asked.
“She’s not available. Who are you?”
“I’m her boyfriend,” the man said. “Who are you?”
What the fuck? When did she get a boyfriend? Colleen hadn’t mentioned any men in her life. “You’re no longer her boyfriend. She’s mine.” He nearly hissed at the man. He waited too long for her, and now this guy thought he could take her away.
He gazed down at his beautiful Ella. No one was taking her from him. He kissed her dreamy lips. “Delete her number.”
“Who are you, and where is Ella?” The man had the nerve to demand answers.
“I’m Garrett. Ella is sleeping with my cock buried in her pussy.” That will end the conversation and her relationship with this guy. Mission accomplished.
“Grr.” She slurred loudly enough for the asshole to hear. “Make luuuv to meee.”
“She’s drunk, Garrett. She’s very, very drunk. I got a call to pick her up. I am at the bar holding her keys, and she’s gone with some blond guy with blue eyes. Is that you?”
“She’s with me, and she knows exactly what she’s doing. If you were her boyfriend, you would have been with her, not letting her get drunk alone at a bar while she sat unprotected surrounded by other men.” Why am I explaining myself to this guy? I don’t have to explain shit. Ella wouldn’t choose anyone over me, especially some idiot who hadn’t cared enough to go out with her.
“I’m sorry,” she mumbled. “I tried to hold onto everything, but it’s all falling apart.”
“Ella,” the man shouted. “Get out of—”
Garrett hung up. He’d find out exactly who the man was, and what kind of relationship she had with him later. He turned her phone off. No more interruptions.
“Ella? How many drinks have you had?” The Ella he knew could drink him under the table which was no small feat.
Her eyelids lifted a little, just enough to see the glassy sheen of drunkenness in her beautiful blue eyes. “L-luuuvvv y-you.”
Her lids slid closed. Soft, steady inhales and exhales left her lips.
Shit, she was drunk. Really drunk, but she wasn’t before they made love. She was coherent and all over him. Whatever she had must have started with whiskey and evolved into shots of something just as potent, and a lot of them in a short period of time. “Derek, take us to her place, and park in the garage,” Garrett said to his best friend and life partner. “Make sure we’re not followed.”
“Yes, sir,” Derek said.
Garrett lifted her up and sat down on the seat with her head on his lap. “I want pictures of us together when she sobers up, if she is willing.”
She moaned as she shifted and faced his rising cock.
“I’ve got it covered,” Derek said. “No one is following us, and the latest intel on the boys states that they are asleep in bed.”
“Thanks,” Garrett said. “I’m not letting her go this time.”
He outlined the curves of her breast, licked his fingers, and drew spirals down to her navel. He always loved her belly. Even pregnant her belly was beautiful. He’d wanted her to pierce her navel, but Greg didn’t like body piercings. Greg was boring. No threesomes. No piercings. No tattoos. No ropes or handcuffs. No toys. They all could have been so happy together if Greg hadn’t kept her all to himself. Greg didn’t share. Ever.
She nuzzled his erection and mumbled something while she lay half-asleep and half-awake. “Make love to me again.”
“Hang on, baby. We’re home.”
The limo stopped.
Garrett shifted her around and into his arms. He stealthily walked into the house he’d helped build with his brother and headed straight to her bedroom.
With a professional digital camera and tripod, Derek entered the pastel-yellow bedroom a few minutes later. He turned on the lamp on the maple dresser Garrett and Greg made to match the rest of the bedroom furniture, most of which was missing.
“Test results are all clear, as usual,” Derek said. “Helps that we practice safe sex. Give me a minute, and I’ll set up.”
“Ella, babe? Can Derek take some sexy pictures of us?” He would ask her again when she sobered up. He needed to make sure she wanted the intimacy of naked pictures with him.
He placed her on the metal bed and settled next to her on the white lace sheets. Cheap sheets on a cheaper bed? Why? The one Greg made you was beautiful and cost a fortune…son of a bitch… You sold it…
“I’ll do anything with you, Garrett,” she mumbled.
Garrett slid her onto his chest until she straddled him. “We’ll get the pictures later. Right now, sleep.” He gently rubbed her back and lulled her into dreamland.
He gazed over at Derek extending the legs on the tripod. “I can’t believe she’s passed out. She can handle more liquor than either Greg or I ever could. How much do you think she had?”
“I don’t know. I’ve never seen her drunk, have you?” Derek asked.
The evening when the twins turned three, she’d had a little too much to drink and confessed wishing Greg was more experimental sexually. She had been far from drunk, but her lips loosened up and spilled some of her naughty fantasies the night before he went back to his military unit.
He confessed to asking his brother to let him join them in bed, to be a third in an alternative relationship. He wanted Ella so badly, he had suggested every possible alternative scenario to share Ella to Greg, but his brother wouldn’t even consider it. His brother was convinced she would be appalled at the suggestion of a ménage or a foursome partnership that included Derek. Garrett knew different. Ella had the spirit of an adventurer. Greg stifled her need to explore anything outside of his conservative world.
“Not like tonight. I tried getting her drunk one night when Greg was out of town, but she won all the drinking games and tucked me into bed. I never lost a drinking game to anyone before, and she beat me straight up.”
“Something must have happened. This isn’t like her.” Derek tightened his camera onto the tripod and walked to the side of the bed.
Ella mumbled something and reached out to him. She hooked her fingers into his waistband. Derek stepped forward and her hand grazed his cock as it fell limp to the mattress.
“She was always adventurous.” Derek waggled his brows and winked at him. “Remember the nudes I took of her when she was pregnant with the twins?”
He remembered. “They were beautiful.” He was furious when his brother threw a fit over them and burned the portraits she hung up in the master bedroom as a birthday present. Greg was too traditional for her. Now she could spread her wings and fly. She would explore sex with him and Derek, and document their journey along the way.
Garrett caressed along the curves of her back and gazed at the ceiling. “The chandelier I bought her is gone.”
“Yeah.” Derek covered Garrett’s hand at Ella’s back. “She’s walked a tough road, but she has us now.”
Garrett nodded. “Do you think my parents took it, or did she have to sell it?”
Ella sighed and snuggled against him.
“Either way it’s gone.” Derek squeezed his hand. “We’ll take care of her. Once Colleen tells Ella her secret, Ella will need us even more than she does now.”
Garrett nodded. I hope you’re right.
