Malcolm was annoyed by those honks. He pulled Marilyn towards his car as soon as the light turned red.
"Malcolm, let go of me. Don't pull me." Marilyn followed him in a hurry.
Malcolm turned a deaf ear and kept pulling her forward.
"Is this person sick? He parked such a good car in the middle of the road."
"Tell me about it. I'm in a hurry to go home for dinner."
"How arrogant! Call the police!"
When Malcolm and Marilyn got close to the car, the owners who could not move their cars got off and cursed.
Malcolm glanced at them coldly.
In an instant, most of the people shut their mouths.
Malcolm opened the car door and let Marilyn sit in. He helped her fasten her seat belt and then went to the driver's seat. It happened to be a green light, so he drove away.
Not long after they left, Malcolm's phone rang again.
Malcolm took a look and saw that it was Julian.
He answered the call.
"Hello!"
"Malcolm, are you sick? You called but you didn't make things clear. Where did you park the car?"
Malcolm said coldly, "You don't need to come over. Go back and rest!"
Malcolm hung up after he finished speaking.
Julian was so angry that he couldn't help but curse a few times. He almost threw the phone on the ground.
He trembled out of anger.
Julian and Jacob had already left the bar. But then Julian glanced at Jacob and said, "Jacob, let's go back and drink!"
Jacob looked at his angry face and teased with a smile, "Got tricked by Malcolm again?"
Julian bit his lips and slowly walked back. As he walked, he said, "I am already used to this kind of thing!"
Julian felt extremely conflicted in his heart. Anger and indifference crawled up on his handsome face.
But even so, he never thought of cutting Malcolm off.
He was only angry for three minutes. Three minutes later, if Malcolm called him again, Julian would try his best to do anything for Malcolm.
Jacob smiled and said nothing.
He frowned and asked, "Julian, what's between Malcolm and Marilyn?"
Jacob had held back this question for the entire night.
Julian turned his head and gave him a complicated look.
At the entrance of the bar, the neon lights flashed on Julian's angular face, who was having mixed feelings.
He smiled and said, "Jacob, let's not talk about Malcolm tonight. Let's go and continue drinking."
Julian said as he walked inside.
Jacob was puzzled. He thought, 'Was this question difficult to answer?'
Indeed, this question was very difficult to answer for Julian.
They passed by the hall, and the neon lights on the dance floor were dazzling. A group of young men and women were frantically shaking their heads and swaying their bodies.
When Julian saw this, he felt extremely good.
Julian wiggled and walked inside.
Jacob looked at his funny movement and couldn't help but laugh.
Jacob stared at Julian's back. Jacob was very envious of them four.
They were all rich, but they would not blindly pursue fame and profit.
They rarely went to high-end restaurants, clubs, and spa centers.
Moreover, they wouldn't indulge in debauchery and revelry.
Those four men were all nice people, and Jacob was also envious of the friendship between them!
A few years ago, when Malcolm wanted to start his business alone, Malcolm did not have any funds at that time. Jacob offered to help Malcolm, but Jacob's family didn't let him.
But three of Malcolm's friends took out all their money and built up the current Lowe Group!
Jacob thought of the past and the present. He couldn't help but feel that there were still many things that he could not decide!
Even in the matter of Denise, he was unable to act on his own!
Jacob laughed at himself for being such a coward. He was such a coward that he wanted to beat himself up!
Jacob looked at the bartender's skillful movements and felt inspired. He wanted to be as brave as Malcolm, even for once.
The thought that he had been suppressing in his heart came to his mind at this moment. After the matter at hand was settled, he would leave the Remington family to find Denise.
No matter how hard the days in the future would be, as long as they were together, anything could be solved!
Ever since Marilyn got in the car, she did not say a word. She looked at the scenery outside the window, looking a bit numb.
Malcolm drove and looked at her from time to time.
Seeing that she was unwilling to say anything, he remained silent and did not ask.
He drove to the riverside and stopped. There were few people here and the night view was beautiful!
Malcolm unbuckled his seat belt and asked, "Lynn, I'll accompany you down for a walk!"
Marilyn turned to him and asked, "Is there water in the car?"
"Yes!" Malcolm said as he got out of the car and went to the trunk to get mineral water.
Marilyn slowly got out of the car.
Malcolm took the mineral water to her side and handed her the water.
Instead of drinking it, Marilyn walked to the side of the road and squatted down, then she washed her eyes.
She cried for a long time and her eyes were sore.
Malcolm looked at her and frowned in distress. He wondered how long she had cried.
He wondered, 'She got off work early today, where did she go and who did she go to meet? '
Suddenly, Malcolm asked, "Lynn, you met Margie."
Marilyn gently replied, "Yes."
Then she stood up slowly and drank the rest of the water.
She felt hungry and tired!
She looked back at Malcolm and asked with a smile, "Malcolm, have you eaten?"
Malcolm shook his head slightly. He did not have dinner.
Marilyn smiled. "Then buy me dinner!"
Malcolm's deep, dark eyes were fixed on her for a long time. He suddenly smiled and said, "Ms. Chapman, it is my honor! But you..."
Marilyn squeezed a smile and said, "I'm fine now!"
"Lynn, are you sure you're alright?" Malcolm looked at her in disbelief.
He came back late today, and she was already off work.
Since he couldn't get through to her phone or hear her voice, he wanted to look for her all over the city.
"It's true. After I got into your car, I didn't cry again. I was only sad for a moment. I recover soon."
After Marilyn finished speaking, she looked at Malcolm awkwardly. She was so hungry that her stomach groaned.
Turned out that she only ate breakfast and did not eat anything!
Malcolm smiled happily.
"Get in the car!" His deep and pleasant voice was as sexy as it could be!
Marilyn looked at him and saw that he had already walked to the car. There was a soft light in his deep eyes as he looked at her.
Marilyn blinked and walked to the car.
She was so hungry that her stomach hurt. She opened the car door and sat in the car.
Malcolm also got in the car and saw that she was going to fasten her seat belt. He took the initiative and leaned toward her, then he pulled the seat belt and helped her fasten it.
