Chapter53:

Ch. 53 / 133 May 04, 2026

Alyssa

Inside the elevator, the déjà vu feeling creeps back in. I look around, trying to figure out where I've seen something like this before.

Isaac's law firm? No.

"Alyssa," Gray's voice snaps me out of it, and when I turn to look at him, for a split-second, I swear I see him as a kid, standing in exact same spot-nine, maybe ten years old.

What the hell?

"Why are you staring at me like that?" he asks, raising a brow.

I shake my head, still freaked out. "Oh, nothing," I mumble, trying to ignore the strange sensation crawling under my skin.

How have I been here before?

His gaze narrows, but he lets it go. "I hope you weren't too afraid down there."

I shrug. "Nope. I put together a gun in like thirty seconds, so I think they were actually somewhat impressed."

From the corner of my eye, I see Niko smirk.

A shadow crosses Gray's face, but he only hums in response. "Do you know why I wanted you here today?"

"To tell you how ridiculous you look wearing these suits every day?" I tease, glancing at the black suit he's wearing. "Did I miss the memo that you're running the mafia now?"

"Ha ha," he deadpans, his expression unamused. "Anyway, we need to talk about Isaac."

The smile drops right off my face. "What about him?" I ask, my voice suddenly small.

The elevator doors slide open, and he gestures for me to walk out first. I move past the guys without looking at them, scared that if I do, I might give away something. Like the reason why I'm so deliciously sore between my legs.

I walk right into the office as if I already know where it is.

Okay, this is getting freakier by the second.

But we'll come back to that later. For now, I need to know what he wants to talk about regarding my husband.

I sit on the outer side of Gray's desk, Niko beside me with Zuri, King leaning against the wall, and Mason standing at the door.

Gray sits down in his chair, his eyes locking with mine. "Now, back to what we were talking about...before I show you anything, I need to ask you something."

My pulse races, the tension in his voice twisting knots in my gut.

He suddenly looks uncomfortable. He opens his desk drawer and pops a pill into his mouth, downing it with whiskey.

"What was that?" I ask, frowning at him.

"Xanax."

I snatch the glass out of his hand. "You know you're not supposed to mix alcohol with that, right? And it's like 10 AM!"

Instead of being angry, he only laughs, but the sound is hollow. "You might change your mind about that in a minute."

"Why?"

Gray rubs a hand over his face. "Did you um...did you...fuck. This is harder than I thought it'd be."

My eyebrows pinch together. "Are you having a stroke right now?"

"No, I'm just trying not to barf." He takes a deep breath before asking slowly. "Did you lose your virginity on your wedding night?"

His question makes my stomach drop into my ass. I stare at him, hoping this is just some terrible nightmare. I never thought anyone would ask me that. It's something I've buried deep, wanting to forget the night of my wedding night forever.

"What the hell kind of question is that, Gray?" I know I sound defensive, but he's just asked me something incredibly personal that isn't his fucking business.

He doesn't blink, his eyes narrowing like he already knows the answer. "You didn't, did you?"

I freeze, heat crawling up my neck.

"Do you want them to leave?" He nods towards the guys, like he actually thinks they're the reason I'm not answering.

I shake my head quickly. "No, I just don't want to talk about this."

My chest is heaving, my whole body hot with humiliation and rage. I wish the floor would just open and swallow me up right now.

Gray's eyes soften slightly. "Trust me, this is uncomfortable for me too, but I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important."

I close my eyes, unable to look at any of them. "He said...since I made him angry enough to hit me that night, I didn't deserve it. Afterward, when I didn't want him to touch me at all, he, um... told me that it was my duty as his wife to please him however he wanted." I pause, my breath shaky. "So, I just laid there...let him do whatever he wanted."

The silence that follows is deafening. I don't need to see King and Niko to know that they're furious, but I can't bring myself to look up. The shame is too heavy, and part of me fears that if they knew everything, they'd see the way Isaac did...broken, unworthy.

Gray exhales loudly, like this is as much torture for him as it is for me, though I highly fucking doubt that. "And he only touched your...butt?"

I nod, my throat tightening.

"And when did you actually lose it?" he asks, his tone carefully measured.

"About a week later. I asked him if there was something wrong with me-why he didn't want to, you know, have sex the normal way. It made him angry, and he seemed like he only did it because I said something. Not because he wanted to."

"And that didn't raise any flags?"

"That he wasn't attracted to me?" I let out a bitter laugh. "That became pretty obvious after a while."

Gray shakes his head. "That's not your fault."

Then, he nods at Niko, who stands up with my baby in his arms. Or should I say his baby because she hasn't reached for me once since we came in here. "C'mon baby girl, let's go get you some good food at the bar," he coos and they slip out of the room.

Once the door shuts, Gray hands me a phone. "Watch the video."

Confused, I press play.

The screen fills with a man being bent over, moaning as another guy rails into him. Three other men stand around, their hard cocks in their hands.

"You like that, huh?" the guy behind the camera taunts. "You like me pounding this tight little ass?"

"Oh, fuck. Yes Daddy! I love it!"

The voice sounds familiar. Too fucking familiar.

No. No, no, no.

It can't be.

My blood turns to ice as the video continues to play. After a minute or two, the cameraman pulls out, slapping the guy's ass. "Now, get up and suck all of our cocks. Show the camera how much of a dirty boy you are for us."

The other men in the room flock over and Isaac, my husband, turns around, hungrily servicing each cock like it's everything he's ever dreamed of doing.

The video suddenly cuts off, and no one says a word. I glance between my brother and the screen, where it's paused on the four cocks hanging right in front of Isaac's face, his eyes rolled back in pleasure.

"I'm sorry...what in the flying fuck is this?" I whisper, horrified.

Gray pinches the bridge of his nose. "There's more. Keep swiping."

I scroll through the video, each one worse than the last. It's either Isaac being fucked in the ass or sucking on multiple cocks. I freeze at the last video. There are five guys and they seem to be in a strip club or something. Each one I recognize as his groomsmen, and all of those guys went to school with us.

"W-When was this one?" I'm afraid of the answer, but I know I need to know.

"Two nights before your wedding."

My heart stops. I shoot up out of the chair without thinking, bile rising in my throat. "Oh my god, Gray. He fucked me raw." I don't mean to blurt that out to my brother, but I'm too in shock to care. "Like no condom. Raw. Raw."

Gray grimaces, raising his hand. "Alyssa, please stop. I get it. I'm gonna throw up if I hear that word one more time."

"No, you don't get it!" I shout, slamming my hands on his desk. "What if I have AIDS or something? None of those guys are wearing condoms." A broken sob escapes my throat, tears blurring my vision. "Do you think he asked them for papers before he let them destroy his asshole?"

Oh my god. And what about King and Niko? We've been fucking like rabbits and if I have something, they have it too. What if they hate me now?

Gray looks even more uncomfortable, his eyes filled with guilt and regret. "I'm so fucking sorry, sis. I wish I didn't have to show you, but you needed to know. Now, what do you want to do about it?"

King growls from the corner. "He's dead. That's not a fucking question."

"It's her choice, King," Gray says.

I turn to King, meeting his eyes. I find amber rage burning in them, and maybe at this point, it's directed towards me. I've unknowingly put him and Niko at risk, I'd understand if he said he didn't want me anymore.

But knowing that I can't speak freely here, I can't apologize and beg for his forgiveness, I tell him what I know he'd love to hear.

"I want you to kill him, King," I whisper, every word laced with a vengeance I didn't know I wanted until now. "But only if I can watch."
