Chapter 151: Pete Is Missing Again

Ch. 151 / 153 Dec 06, 2025

Lucas frowned; he hadn't expected Tony to scold him so furiously.

"Has he been knocked silly by the kick just now?" Lucas pondered.

While mulling it over, he retorted coldly, "You've gone insane."

After speaking, he turned to re-enter the house, but Tony stubbornly said, "I won't leave until you explain how you are Pete's father."

Lucas was irritated by Tony's words, his eyebrows furrowing with impatience. He glared coldly and replied, "I'm not in the mood to talk nonsense with you. You’re probably drunk or drugged; that's why you're spouting this nonsense."

Lucas didn't take Tony's accusation to heart at all. To him, it was utterly nonsensical and unreasonable.

Gritting his teeth with clenched fists, Tony took a step forward, but he didn't rush to attack. He wasn't a masochist and feared another vicious kick from Lucas, whose martial arts skills were too good for him to compete with.

Sneering, Tony cursed unhappily, "I'm not drunk. It's you and your family who are drunk and on drugs."

Lucas wasn't in the mood to entertain Tony, so he opened the door to re-enter the house. But Tony's next words shocked him stiff: "We did a DNA test. Pete is your son. It’s proven by the DNA test."

Lucas suddenly turned around, his face filled with confusion. Frowning, he asked, "How can that be possible? I met Andrea a year ago, and now you're saying I'm the father of a seven-year-old kid? If you're not drunk or delusional, what else?"

Tony's eyes widened in shock. Deducing from Lucas's words, he realized Lucas was also unaware that Pete was his son. He didn't doubt Lucas’s words because if Lucas knew, he wouldn't have given up on Andrea when Valentine came back.

"You don't know either?" Tony frowned. The matter had become more complicated after confirming from Lucas that he wasn't aware of being Pete's father.

Hearing Tony's words, Lucas, although doubting, became suspicious and asked, "Tony, is what you said about the DNA test result true?"

Tony snorted and refused to answer. He wanted to leave and investigate since Lucas wasn't aware either; he was no longer useful.

Tony began walking toward his car, and Lucas followed.

Opening the driver's door, Tony watched as Lucas opened the front passenger seat and sat down. Tony glared at Lucas with hostility and asked coldly, "What are you doing in my car?"

Before Lucas could respond, Tony's phone began to ring. He glared at Lucas and whipped out his phone.

Andrea's depressed and anxious voice came from the speaker, "Tony, where are you? Pete has been kidnapped."

Tony's eyes widened in shock as he retorted, "How is that possible?"

"Find my son, Tony. I want my son back," Andrea's crying voice came from the speaker, dejected.

Lucas, sitting beside Tony, also heard Andrea's voice from the speaker. He quickly snatched Tony's phone before he could speak.

"Andrea, I will find Pete and bring him back to you," Lucas replied with determination.

Although he was yet to believe that Pete was his son, his face was filled with concern, and he appeared a little anxious.

Tony was so angry that he wanted to punch Lucas for snatching his phone. He stretched his arm and took the phone back, baring his teeth at Lucas.

Lucas wasn't in the mood to fool around with Tony anymore. He quickly got out of the car and walked toward the house, while Tony reversed the car and drove to the Singers Mansion.

With a smile on his face, Tony was happy that Andrea had hung up on Lucas.

Tony drove directly to the Singers' mansion and, after parking, hurried inside. He found Andrea in a state of distress; her face was pale, and her eyes were red and brimming with tears.

"Andrea, what happened?" Tony asked as he entered.

"Mrs. Win went to pick him up from school, but she was told someone had already taken him. We checked the school gate's surveillance footage, and the car Pete got into wasn't registered. I've never seen it before," Andrea explained, her voice filled with despair.

Tony's eyes narrowed with suspicion as he glanced around the room. He noticed the household staff and Housekeeper Win standing beside Andrea, but there was no sign of Valentine Anderson.

"Where's Valentine? Does he know Pete has been kidnapped?" Tony asked, his suspicion growing.

Andrea nodded, her expression serious. "He does. He said he would be back soon."

Tony's heart sank, and he asked anxiously, "Does he know he's not Pete's father?"

Andrea frowned at the question, immediately suspecting Valentine. Despite his despicable nature, she didn't think he was capable of something this vicious. "Yes, he knew before either of us," she replied.

Tony's eyes turned cold with anger. "Valentine is the one who kidnapped Pete. I’ll find him. He has to release Pete immediately."

Andrea was taken aback by Tony's firm conviction, but before she could stop him, Tony had already driven away from the mansion.

Anxiously pacing around, Andrea called the men she had sent to look for Pete, but they had no leads. After waiting for an hour, she tried calling Tony, but he didn't answer. Her anxiety and worry only deepened.

At 9 PM, Valentine's car arrived at the mansion. He stepped out and walked into the house.

"Val, where have you been?" Andrea asked, frowning.

"Andrea, let's talk in the bedroom," Valentine replied with a smile. Though hesitant, Andrea followed him inside.

"I spoke with the priest about our wedding tomorrow, and the wedding gown is in the wardrobe. Have you tried it on? If not, I'll get it for you to see how beautiful and perfect it is on you," Valentine said, walking towards the wardrobe.

Andrea's expression changed drastically. With trembling lips and a shaky voice, she said, "Val, you were the one who kidnapped Pete, yo—"

Valentine retrieved the wedding gown with a smile and replied, "Yes, it was me. But he is safe now. However, if you refuse to go through with the wedding, I can't guarantee his safety. It would be a pity if an innocent child’s life were lost because of his mother's mistake."

Andrea's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe Valentine would threaten her with her son's life. She stammered in disbelief, "Why?"

Valentine's face turned cold, and he roared angrily, "Do you think I would let you cuckold me and cheat on me, then act like nothing happened? I will never allow you to marry my brother. You are mine, Andrea. No one can take you away from me. If anyone tries, they won't live to tell about it."

Valentine's eyes were bloodshot with anger.
