Since it was revealed that the man who had been posing as Pascal Willow was actually Valentine Anderson from Vegas City. Following this revelation, members of the Willow family have been causing disturbances at the mansion. In response, Margaret Willow has significantly bolstered the security measures.
Now, more than twenty checkpoints are set up at the gate, each manned by over fifty armed personnel. The imposing security setup even managed to intimidate Valentine Anderson, who was visibly furious.
Valentine Anderson took a deep breath, clenched his fists tightly, and nervously strode forward. To his surprise, he wasn't stopped as he walked into the mansion. He entered through the gate and proceeded straight to the house without being questioned or halted midway.
The Willow family's butler was already at the door to welcome him. The middle-aged man smiled kindly at Valentine and said warmly, "Sir Pascal, madam has been expecting you. She is in her study room waiting for you."
Valentine nodded towards the butler and quietly stepped into the house. He walked directly to the study room and opened the door to find Margret Willow lounging lazily on a couch.
"I knew you would return to me," Margret said confidently, standing up and striding towards him.
Valentine's face darkened. He stretched out his arm, grabbed Margret by the neck, and forcefully pinned her against the wall. His eyes were murderous as he began to strangle her. Margret panicked, grasping at his hand, her eyes filled with dread and terror.
"Pas-cal," she struggled to say, her breath nearly gone.
"Where did you get that fake DNA test slip?" Valentine demanded coldly, finally releasing her. He knew that if he killed Margret Willow, he wouldn’t be able to leave the mansion alive.
Margret coughed violently, her eyes red. When she could finally speak, she coughed again and said, "The DNA test slip isn't fake. You are not Pete's biological father. I did a DNA test with Pete using your blood, and I was surprised to find that you are his uncle, not his father."
Valentine roared in anger, his eyes bloodshot. "Liar! Shut up! Don’t spout nonsense!"
Terrified, Margret fell silent. Valentine clenched his fists tightly, his veins visible due to his rage.
The door opened, and the Willow family's butler walked in, saying, "Mrs. Willow, the doctor you requested to carry out a test result has brought it."
Margret cleared her throat, still badly frightened. Valentine looked like a lion whose tail had been mercilessly trampled. Taking the envelope from the butler, she didn’t send him away, fearing that Valentine might go crazy and strangle her to death.
Opening the envelope, she took out the medical report and said softly, "I instructed a doctor to get Pete's medical history summary report. Take a look for yourself and see the things Pete is allergic to."
Although reluctant, Valentine clung to a tiny bit of hope that there would be proof Pete was his son. He read through the allergies listed and confirmed that Pete was indeed allergic to many things he wasn’t. The mention of seafood, in particular, reminded him of what Housekeeper Win had told him when he had wanted to prepare a seafood dish for Pete and Andrea.
Feeling betrayed, anguished, frustrated, and anxious, he shredded the paper in rage, bellowing, "Liar! Do you think you can fool me with this nonsense? I’m telling you, nobody can come between me and Andrea. Stay away from me and her!"
Valentine turned and walked towards the door. Margret panicked; things were going in the wrong direction. She had thought revealing Pete’s true parentage would make Valentine return to her. Who would have thought he would become senseless and enraged, like a mad dog?
"Valentine, if you find out he isn’t your son, are you going to stop loving Andrea?" Margret asked anxiously as she saw him about to leave.
Valentine stopped at the door and looked back at her coldly. With a dark expression, he said, "No one can take Andrea from me. She belongs to me. I don’t care whose son Pete is, but I am not going to allow anyone to have Andrea."
With that, he slammed the door shut behind him and headed for the airport.
When Valentine Anderson returned to Vegas, it was early morning. Fortunately, it wasn't yet rush hour, and being a Friday, he managed to get home before Pete had to leave for school.
Housekeeper Win was about to drive Pete to school when Valentine Anderson's car pulled up. He quickly got out, almost tripping over himself in his haste.
Seeing his father, Pete's eyes lit up with joy. "Daddy!" he called out excitedly.
Valentine Anderson spread his arms and smiled. "Pete, come give your daddy a hug."
Pete ran over and embraced him. Looking up at Housekeeper Win, Valentine Anderson said coldly, "I'll take him to school."
Housekeeper Win wanted to protest, but Valentine Anderson had already put Pete in the car. She wisely kept silent and watched as they drove away from the mansion.
As Valentine Anderson drove Pete to school, his face was gloomy. His thoughts were consumed by the DNA test. Although Pete tried to engage him in conversation, Valentine didn't respond or even glance at him.
"Daddy, where did you go?" Pete asked curiously. Before he could continue, Valentine shot him an angry glare and roared, "Shut up! You're too noisy."
Pete shuddered in fear and didn't dare utter another word until they arrived at the school gate. Valentine Anderson then smiled apologetically and, while patting Pete's head, said, "Daddy is very sorry. I didn't mean to shout at you. Go on, listen well in class, okay?"
Pete felt a stinging pain on his head but didn't think much of it. He quickly opened the car door and left, eager to get away from Valentine Anderson.
After Pete exited the car, Valentine Anderson coldly stared at the strands of hair he had pulled from Pete's head.
