Chapter 81

Ch. 81 / 324 Jul 29, 2025

Bella was bringing in a tea set at that time. When he saw Sara's anxious expression, he was stunned and asked, "What's wrong with you, Miss Martin?"

Sara breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Bella . She stopped running and asked in confusion, "Where is this place?"

Only then did Bella realize that she was frightened by the fact that she was in a strange place after waking up. He comforted her, "Didn't you say that you didn't want to live in Bishop mansion? Master Bishop had asked someone to move your things here in the morning."

Sara was startled for a moment, "...Are we moving in?"

Bella asked someone to put down the tea set and said with a smile, "Yes, this is Master's villa in Reminisland. It's not very spacious, but it's enough for two people to stay... Master Bishop had already gone out as he had something to do, would you like a tour?"

Sara nodded and said in a low voice, "... We actually moved in so quickly."

Bella said, "Everything that Master Bishop promises you, he will do it, not to mention something trivial."

He glanced at Sara's bare feet on the carpet and said, "You'd better put on your shoes first. If you catch a cold, Master Bishop will blame me."

Sara blushed, and then went back to her room embarrassedly to wear her slippers.

There were still people moving stuff in the house. Bella didn't mind them, he took Sara to look around several rooms and said, "The room you just woke up in is yours. Master Bishop's room is opposite to yours, every room is attached with a bathroom... The other rooms are the study room, collection room, and utility room. There are also guest rooms and a sun porch upstairs. It is comfortable to bask in the sun during spring and winter. In addition, there's a gym and a recreation room, which were seldom used."

Sara stood on the third floor and looked down. She saw that there was a small yard in the villa, where a lot of precious flowers and fruit trees were planted. Sara liked the trellis most, a swing was hanging onto it.

Bella said, "Master Bishop specially asked someone to build it for you, but you're still in poor health now, so you can't stay long in the wind."

Sara nodded and asked, "Will anyone take care of this place regularly?"

"Yes, approximately once a week. Basically, they will come around 10 o'clock so they won't disturb you. Besides, there are only two servants, who have always been working here. They would usually stay in their rooms respectively when there's nothing to do."

Sara said softly, "You don't have to be so polite to me, Bella."

Bella smiled and knew that she was not used to it, so he didn't force her. He said, "Miss Martin, if you are curious, you can go around and have a look."

Sara consented and asked, "When will Master Bishop come back?"

"I'm not sure." Bella said, "Master went to the Military Department for a meeting."

Hank came back late at night. Sara had already taken a shower and was about to go to bed. As soon as she came out with a glass of milk from the kitchen, she saw a tall man walking into the living room.

"You're back." Sara said with a soft smile and asked in a low voice, "Have you eaten yet?"

Hank replied, "Yeah. Have you gotten used to this place?"

Sara nodded immediately, "It's great here."

"If there's anything missing, ask Bella ." Hank took off his windbreaker and carried it in the crook of his arm. He looked a little tired and asked, "Are you feeling better?"

Sara said, "I'm fine now. Are you not feeling well?"

"I'm fine." Hank looked little cold, but when he faced Sara, he still suppressed his annoyance. He scratched her head and said, "Go back to your room. Go to sleep after drinking the milk."

Sara looked up and saw his defined and muscular jawline. She nodded obediently and went back to her room.

As soon as she opened the door, she heard the sound of a cup crash to the floor. She was so scared that she trembled.

...Master Bishop seemed to be in a bad mood.

Sara pursed her lips and went into her room. After drinking the milk and washing up, she laid herself on the bed, wondering if she should go out to have a look. However, when she thought of the blood she saw in Angelfalls last time, she became a coward again. She could only hold the pillow and whisper the phrase "don't get angry" a few times, but obviously, Hank could not hear her at all, and then finally fell asleep.

The next morning, Sara woke up after the alarm went off. The sun penetrated through the gaps in the curtains, reflecting on her face. She narrowed her eyes and then got out of bed.

After tidying up and going downstairs, Hank had already sat down by the side of the dining table. The servant, Aunt Lyons had already prepared breakfast. Sara looked at Hank carefully and said, "...Good morning, Master Bishop."

"Hmm." Hank put aside the document in his hand and said, "Let's eat."

The breakfast included overnight oat, poached eggs, coffee and ham sandwich, which were relatively light.

"Did you sleep well last night?" Hank asked.

Sara replied, "Yes."

"Then it seems that you don't have trouble sleeping in a strange bed." Hank smiled faintly and said, "I was thinking if I should open the door if you didn't get used to your bed and came to knock on my door when you were having insomnia in the middle of the night."

Sara's face turned red suddenly, "... There's no way I would knock on your door in the middle of the night!"

"That's why I said it's such a pity." Hank took a sip of coffee leisurely, "After all, I'm not a beast. If you really came over, I wouldn't open the door for you... But in order to compensate you, I can send you to school- but unfortunately, you didn't come."

Sara was speechless. She thought, "Why do I feel that it's my fault that I didn't have trouble sleeping in a new bed..."

"However, I'm a flexible person." Hank raised his eyelids, of which the arc was like a sharp knife with a cold gaze that could kill people at once. But because of the banter in his eyes, it softened a little," If you call me uncle, I will send you to school, hmm?"

Sara was speechless.

Why did she feel that he was taking advantage of her every day.

"You're very busy, so you don't have to send me." Sara put down the spoon in her hand with a red face and whispered, "I, I'll go first."

Hank grabbed her by the wrist, "Is it so difficult for you to call me uncle?"

Sara lowered her head without saying a word, and her ears turned red.

"...Well, I don't know what to do with you." He held Sara's wrist and walked out, "Since you're very cute, I'll send you to school even if you didn't call me uncle."

Sara felt that she should say something at that moment. She racked her brain and said, "...Thank you, Master Bishop."

Reminisland was quite near to Scrollania College. Sara arrived at the school earlier, so Freya and Alex were not there.

However, Scarlet, who always came to class on the very last second, was unexpectedly early, lying on her desk.

Sara asked curiously, "What happened?"

Scarlet raised her eyes and glanced at her, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. In fact, it's not very severe."

Scarlet smiled and pulled her chair and sat next to Sara. She raised her eyebrows and said, "I heard that Serene and Chadrick had been expelled from school."

Sara was stunned for a moment, "Really?"
