Hank turned off the alarm clock and threw the phone aside casually. Then, he sat down on the side of Sara's bed and reached out to dig out the kid buried in the blanket.
Sara was very soft, as if she had no bones. When Hank lifted her shoulders, she would droop her head. When he held her head, her body would wiggle into the blanket. It was very troublesome.
It was Hank's first time to see someone lie in like that. It was something entirely new to him. He pinched Sara's face and then pulled her fingers. For some reason, he realized why all the girls liked playing dolls so much.
Sara had never been a picky eater since she was a child. After she got into the Martin family, having a meal was already a problem, let alone being picky at food. Therefore, after thinking for a long time, she just said, "Anything will do."
Hank looked up at her and said, "Don't you have something in mind?"
Sara sat down cross-legged on the field, "I am not craving anything."
Hank thought for a moment and said, "What about Italian cuisine?"
Sara nodded.
Hank threw the guns aside. He stood up, and then pulled Sara up.
Sara couldn't eat spicy food, so Italian cuisine was suitable for her. When they finished eating, it was already seven o'clock in the evening.
The Bishop mansion was very beautiful and grand. Perhaps it was an ancient building. Sara always felt that it was deserted and eerie. She looked up at the glamour entrance and asked in a low voice, "Master Bishop, have you been staying here all the time?"
Hank said, "I only moved here after I fell ill." It was said that it was easy for Mrs. Bishop to take care of her grandson.
He raised his eyebrows, "Why? Don't you like this place?"
Sara knew that she was not supposed to express her opinion, but she still nodded. As if she was afraid that someone else would hear her, she whispered to Hank's ear, "...I always feel this place is sort of creepy."
Hank's eyes darkened. He smiled ambiguously, "It's been here for hundreds of years. I don't know how many people have died over here. It's normal for it to be creepy. If you don't want to live here, we can move out. Where do you want to stay?"
Sara's eyes lit up.
She really did not like Bishop family. Although it was splendid and quaint, it was also dull and depressing. Both Mrs. Bishop and Rose Dior were living there. Even if there was no conflict, it would be troublesome to see them, not to mention that Sebastian Bishop was living there too...
"Can we move out?" Sara asked cautiously.
"Why do uncle have to lie to you?" Hank held her hand and entered the house. He said in a cold voice, "I don't like it here either."
Sara couldn't help laughing, her eyes sparkled, "Where did you live before then?"
"A villa on Periwinkle Street." Hank said casually.
Sara was speechless. Sure enough, he was a rich man.
The land in Periwinkle Street was very valuable. The price of a mansion per square meter was sky-high. There were only two residential areas, one was called Amblestream Garden, and the other one was Reminisland. In Jena City, it was called the "Hanging Gardens of Babylon". The people who lived there were from the noblest families. It was notoriously difficult to purchase the property even one had money.
Even in Scrollania College, there were only very few students who were able to own an estate in those two areas.
Hank thought for a moment and said, "I often stay over there. It has everything. If you want to move out, it's a good place."
"...Then..." Sara asked warily, "If you move out, will Mrs. Bishop be angry?"
Hank was amused, "What does it have to do with me if she's angry? If you want to move out, then just do it. Don't worry so much."
Sara nodded. She was very happy.
"Brother." Suddenly, a cold voice came from the front. Sara recognized that it was Simon Bishop, so she subconsciously hid behind Hank. She didn't know why she was a little afraid of the master of the Bishop family.
Simon was wearing a well-ironed shirt in dark color, standing in the corridor. Obviously, he was waiting for them.
"What's the matter?" Hank asked.
Simon nodded and looked at Sara, "I have something to discuss with Sara."
Sara was stunned, "Me?"
"I heard that... you had saved Commander Selmy's life today." Simon was the kind of person who looked very upright at first glance. His voice was monotonous, without carrying any emotion.
Hank sneered and said, "It's really a waste that Yasmine is working in the office. She should host a talk show since she has such a big mouth."
Simon frowned and said, "Brother, you know I had no bad intention."
Hank said, "I'm not talking about you."
Simon knew his brother's temper, so he didn't mind too much. He said, "I would like to ask Sara to have a look at Miss Jules."
Sara looked at Hank in confusion, "Miss Jules?"
Hank's face was clouded, "Juliette isn't going to recover. It's useless for Jackie to go there."
Simon knew his brother had a nasty temper and a strong possessive instinct. He didn't want Sara to get in touch with too many people. If it was for other matters, he wouldn't have mentioned it. However, it was related to Juliette...
He said in a low voice, "...I still want to give it a try."
Hank wanted to pour scorn on him, but Sara had already tugged at Hank's hand. She looked at him without blinking her eyes and whispered, "I'm just going to have a look. It is fine."
"What's wrong with Miss Jules?" Sara asked Simon.
Simon was silent for a long time before he said, "Depression."
"Judging from Juliette's appearance, I thought she had died a few years before." Hank was sitting on the sofa, his voice was cold, "I didn't expect that she would still be breathing lightly."
Sara asked, "Don't you like Miss Jules?"
"I'm not familiar with her." Hank said lightly, "I just don't think it's necessary for you to go there in vain."
"It's okay. If I could help Miss Jules, it wouldn't be a problem even if I will be troubled." Sara took out her pajamas from the wardrobe and said, "I'm going to take a shower."
Hank replied, "Okay.".
The sound of water splashing came from the bathroom. Hank looked at the tea set on the tea table with his cold eyes. He vaguely remembered who sent that premium porcelain tea set, which was said to be very precious. It was best for brewing Earl Grey Tea. However, since it was placed on the table, it had never been used.
He slowly thought of the name.
Juliette Jules.
Why wasn't that woman dead yet.
Sara didn't get up on the next morning.
Tiredness overcame her, perhaps because she had spent all the afternoon at the shooting range. She liked to glue herself in bed. In addition to the tiredness, she ignored the alarm clock.
Hank came out of the bathroom and glanced at her phone which was ringing non- stop. That old phone did not have any pros other than its loud sound, deafening.
When Bella realized it was almost time, he pushed open the door and came in, "Master, Miss Martin, we're getting late..."
Before he could finish his words, he saw Miss Martin, who was about to be late, being held in Hank's arms. She was being pinched and pulled, looking pitiful. Bella was speechless.
