CHAPTER TWELVE
THE WEDDING DRESS

I just had to agree with going to get the wedding dress together with Hayden in order to avoid suspicions from our both parents.
Hayden opened the car door smiling sweetly at me as he gently shut the door the moment i was seated.
"Good bye." We both said waving at our parents and drove off
"Why don't we go to black market so that i can sell you off." I joked as he drove out of my compound
"Stop being sarcastic, it doesn't suit you." He replied rudely
"Let's just go to stars bridal boutique they have got the perfect wedding dress." I said as he made a U turn
"You are now arrogant and so full of yourself now Hayden." I said
"I am so glad that you noticed that." He said stepping on the brakes as he came to stop due to traffic
"I just hate the idea of driving you to the bridal shop to choose a dress for a fucking arranged marriage." He said
"Oh ! Neither do I Hayden, I hate this whole idea of getting married to you but I have got to do it."
"You are still going to be my husband Hayden Leo Anderson" I smirked
"Quit saying it as if the marriage is real, I wouldn't have agreed to this marriage but I had a choice." He rapsed
"Blah...... Blah...... Blah........ You are so lucky that I accepted to be your bride. Quit talking and focus on the road."
"You are still the same arrogant girl." He snapped glaring at me
"Not that I care." I said crossing my legs
My phone began to ring and when I got it out of my purse, I realized that it was Joan calling
Thank God ! At last someone to keep me company for the ride, just the right person I needed to keep me from arguing with Hayden.
"Hi there girlfriend." I said answering the call
"Hi bestie, what's up?" She asked
"Nothing cool just stuck with my supposed husband to be." I replied
"Oooops ! I hope you guys don't kill yourself, Lira is back from her vacation with her family and she will love for the three of us to hang out." She said
Lira is Joan cousin and my friend.
"Cool, let's hangout this tomorrow" I replied
"Okay dear, so what are you and Hayden both doing together?" She questioned
"On our way to pick a wedding dress."
"Why is Hayden with you?" She asked
"Our parents want both of us to pick the wedding dress and suit together." I replied
"Okay. I hope you both returned back to your families alive." She said
"I can't say so for him but as for me i am going to return to my family alive." I said
I nearly bit my tongue whilst talking because he suddenly pulled over recklessly in front of stars bridal boutique causing my upper body to move forward nearly hitting the edge of the airbag case.
"What the hell is wrong with you Hayden? Do you want to get me killed?" I yelled at him totally forgetting Joan on the phone
"Watch your words woman !" He snarled
"How can you pull over recklessly, you should be apologizing instead of getting angry." I said
"You have no right to coach me on how to park my car and when to apologize." He said
"I demand an apology Mr Hayden Leo Anderson." I said out loud
"Say someone who doesn't know when and how to apologize." He shot at me
"Ummmmm..... Tess ........ I have got to go, you both should stop behaving like kids before you get each other killed." I heard Joan said before she hang up
"Never you coach me again because you have no right to do that." Hayden said getting out of the car
I took a deep breath trying to calm my anger down before getting out of the car.
I slammed the car door as hard as I can and glared at him, he glared at me from head to toe and back up, shook his head sideways and headed inside the boutique.
"Hello sir, ma welcome to stars bridal boutique." The receptionist greeted the both of us when we walked inside the boutique.
"We are here to get a wedding dress, I need a perfect one for my beautiful bride." He said turning to me with a smile
"You have come to the right place, please follow me." She said smiling
She walked us and introduced us to three girls who also worked there so they could show us the dresses we could pick from.
Hayden walked amongst the dresses and two of the ladies followed him, he points a finger at a dress one takes it off the hook and hangs it on an arm.
"Honey let's try this ones out, go and try them." He said with a smile which I returned back because of the workers
"Sure love." I said taking the dresses into the dressing room which was surrounded with mirrors.
I walked out of the changing room and met him on the couch pressing his phone with legs crossed. He looked up at me the moment I stepped into the room.
"Too short and ugly." He said and I glared at him before walking back into the room
"Too long."
"Too ugly"
"Too short"
"Too big"
"Too revealing"
"Too exposed and short"
"Too big and ugly"
"Too old fashioned"
"Too flashy"
"Too exposed"
"Too slutty"
"Too exposed and big"
"Too armless"
"Too whitish"
"The arm length is too long"
"Brownish colour"
"Too hideous and big"
"Just make a choice, I have tried all the gown you." I whined angrily when his complain was too much
None of the dress that i choose look good on you." He said
"You know what I am done here, I know that all the dresses looked good on me because i have a perfect body, you are just making everything hard for me." I said picking my purse before storming out of the boutique
I stopped a cab that was passing by the moment i stepped out of the boutique.
"Anderson mansion." I said to the cab driver and he nodded before driving off
"Take, keep the change !" I said to the cab driver handing him some cash before getting of the cab
"Thanks ma." He smiled
I stormed inside the house angrily ignoring the greetings of the guards and maids.
"Darling what is wrong? Why the long face? Where is your gown and where is Hayden?" My mom bombarded me with questions the moment she set her eyes on me
"Nothing mom, I am just stressed out." I answered
"No baby something is wrong, go ahead and tell your dad and I." My mom insisted
I narrated everything that transpired at the boutique to my parents.
"Mom, Dad can't you cancel the wedding?" I asked my parents the moment i finished narrating my ordeals to them
"Why honey?" Dad asked
"I thought you both are close or is it because of what happened at the boutique?" Mom asked
"No mom, we aren't even the tiniest bit close, we both were just putting on an act."
"You both have no idea how fuck up the both of us are when we both are alone, we are just going to ruin each other and end up hurting each other."
"I am not sure the both of us can ever be close like we used to be." I said
"Baby i understand that the both of you hate each other but we can't call off the wedding, I know you both we love each other with time." Dad said
"Ma'am you have a delivery." One of the maid
"From who Irene?" My dad asked
"The delivery man said that it is from Mr Anderson." Irene said handing it over to me
"Let's see what we got here." Mom said unwrapping the box
When she was done it turned out to be the fifth wedding dress that he said was too revealing and a note was attached to it.

"Awwwwww, my future son in law is so sweet." My mom said dreamily
"Mom !" I yelled
"What? He is been sweet, he is probably sorry." She said
"You have got to be kidding me mom." I said and rushed upstairs
How can one be such a great actor?
I have got to give it to Hayden for being a great actor.
