Jade woke up early, the soft buzz of her alarm pulling her from a restless sleep. The first rays of dawn peeked through her curtains, painting her room in hues of gold and orange. She stretched, sitting up and brushing her hair back. Today was going to be another whirlwind.
Bangkok, she thought, shaking her head. Every time she received one of these last-minute messages, it reminded her just how much her life had changed.
She moved around her room, selecting an outfit for the long flight. Jade opted for a sleek yet professional look: a black pencil skirt paired with a fitted white blouse and her trusty nude heels. She tied her hair into a low bun and applied a touch of makeup to keep herself looking polished. After packing a small carry-on bag, she checked the clock.
“Perfect timing,” she muttered, grabbing her bag and heading to the kitchen.
Her grandmother had already left a note on the counter:
Good luck today, Jade. Be safe and eat something on the plane. Love, Grandma.
Smiling, Jade grabbed a piece of toast and headed out the door.
At the private airport, Jade’s driver dropped her off near the sleek white jet waiting on the tarmac. She stepped out, smoothing her skirt and taking a deep breath. The plane gleamed in the sunlight, its polished surface reflecting the bright blue sky.
The cabin crew had already prepared most of the plane, but Jade had her own set of responsibilities. She walked aboard, the soft hum of the engines filling the air as she began her checklist.
First, she ensured the galley was stocked—champagne, fine wines, and an assortment of snacks and gourmet meals were all neatly arranged. She double-checked the seating area, adjusting the plush pillows and ensuring the blankets were folded perfectly. Finally, she stepped into the back of the plane to inspect the private lounge area, its luxurious leather seating and mood lighting ready for whatever the men had planned.
Satisfied, she straightened up and made her way back to the main cabin just as the sound of a car pulling up reached her ears. Peeking out the window, she saw them: Milan, Enzo, and Thiago.
Her stomach flipped as they stepped out of the sleek black car, each of them looking effortlessly impeccable. Milan wore a perfectly tailored dark gray suit, his icy-blue eyes scanning the plane with his usual precision. Enzo had opted for a black blazer over a fitted white shirt, his tattoos peeking out slightly from beneath his rolled-up sleeves. Thiago, wore a navy shirt unbuttoned just enough to reveal a hint of his chest, paired with slim black trousers.
As they climbed aboard, Jade stepped forward to greet them, her professionalism masking the nerves bubbling under the surface.
“Good morning,” she said, her tone calm and steady.
Milan was the first to approach, his piercing gaze softening slightly as he leaned in and pressed a kiss to her cheek. “Morning, Jade,” he murmured.
Before she could process the gesture, Enzo stepped forward, his dark eyes locking onto hers as he gave her a quick but lingering kiss on the other cheek. “Looking sharp as always,” he said with a sly grin.
Jade’s face warmed as Thiago approached last, his usual playful smirk in place. But instead of a kiss on the cheek, he leaned in and brushed his lips against hers, his voice low as he whispered, “Hope you’re ready for this flight.”
Her heart raced as she pulled back, trying to steady her breathing. “I… I’ve prepared everything. We’re ready to take off as soon as you are.”
Enzo chuckled, clearly enjoying her flustered state. “Good to know.”
Once the plane was in the air, Jade busied herself with small tasks to distract from the butterflies in her stomach. But it didn’t take long for the men to call her over.
“Jade,” Milan said from his seat, his tone commanding but not unkind. “Come here.”
She hesitated briefly before making her way to them. “Yes?”
Enzo gestured toward the back of the plane. “We need you to join us in the lounge..”
The way he said it sent a shiver down her spine. She nodded, following them as they led her toward the private area at the back of the jet.
The lounge was dimly lit, the plush leather seating and warm lighting creating an intimate atmosphere. Jade stood near the doorway, her heart pounding as the three men turned to face her.
Milan’s hand reached out, his fingers brushing against her cheek. His touch was gentle, but there was no mistaking the intensity in his gaze.
Thiago moved behind her, his hands resting lightly on her shoulders. “Relax, Jade,” he murmured. “We’ve got you.”
Her heart raced as Enzo stepped forward, his smirk returning as he tilted her chin up to meet his gaze. “Welcome to the mile-high club, Jade,” he said softly, his voice a mix of amusement and desire.
The door to the lounge slid shut behind them, the sound of the engines humming softly in the background as the world outside disappeared.
