Alpha's Caged Love

Something is wrong

Ch. 28 / 159 May 05, 2026

He used to like her in this way, as someone who was needy, greedy, and eager to please him, but now her actions seemed forced, artificial, and desperate. "Natasha, stop it," Cayden regretted visiting her because he realized it was pointless.

Cayden tried to concentrate on the moist warmth surrounding his cock, but his mind kept wandering to Selena!

Natasha was the epitome of sex; she had long legs, long raven black hair, flawless pale skin, perfectly formed tits and lips, and an air of seduction that neither men nor women could match or resist.

Natasha increased her efforts rather than halting them, slurping and groaning all around his softening shaft. "That's it, Natasha."

With the back of her hand, she wiped off a string of saliva from her mouth as she withdrew, letting his barely stiffened length fall from her.

"What is the problem?"

Cayden sagged into a chair, zipped up his pants, and tucked himself back in with trembling, sloppy hands.

"It's her, right? Cayden, I knew this would happen. You have been enamoured with her. You are ignoring who she is and what she owes us." Natasha was knocked to the ground by Cayden's quick rise to his feet and broad frame, which towered over her.

"You have no right to talk about what is owed to me. You consistently forget your place, Natasha. Go home." Natasha struggled to her feet as she attempted to control Cayden's rage and the current circumstance.

"I apologise if I offended you. She is a manipulator."

"I know who she is. You are the one who repeatedly disobeys me and crosses the line. I told you to stay away from her."

She shuddered at his stoic expression. He rarely got mad at her.

"This is what I'm referring to. You're feeling bad for the little bitch now that I've only touched her once."\

He stalked up to her, pushing her against the wall as he growled through clenched teeth. "I told you she was mine, Natasha. You will, as promised, receive your pound of flesh. Selena is mine, though." Cayden observed Natasha's forehead and upper lip perspire as well as the pulse point in her neck quickening.

"I merely wanted to keep you safe, Cayden. Please try to understand. I knew once you get trapped by her you would change the plan, that you would... want her.." Just above a whisper, Natasha's voice had lost its confidence and sense of entitlement and been replaced by agony and despair.

Cayden recognised his error. This was his fault after hearing the pain and hurt in Natasha's voice. She had been devoted to Cayden since they were young, despite all of her disastrous character flaws. Together, they had been through so much, and she had always been loyal. Natasha was with him in the early years after they had escaped from captivity, planning with him, and ready to fill an infinite number of voids within him. Their small circle of childhood pals grew closer and more devoted to one another, thanks to Natasha. Together, Cayden had rebuilt his pack. Being a girl Natasha had suffered more than him, her depravity resulted from that.

He knew she loved him in her twisted way, and he had repeatedly taken advantage of that love to develop a physical bond and sense of relationship. The only explanation for her actions was that she was envious of his obsession with Selena. Cayden moved backward while taking several slow, deep breaths. "I'm to blame for your resentment. You've been wounded by my possessiveness for Selena. I'll accept responsibility for this error once only. Do you understand?"

When Natasha nodded, her face filled with tears, which eventually flowed.

"I am sorry, Cayden."

He nodded and offered her a flimsy smile of assurance.

"Leave now, Natasha. In a few days, we'll speak again."

**********

Selena hadn't ventured outside of her room in days, but not because she wasn't permitted to. There was a problem with her. After the heat, it was typical to feel feverish and dull, but this was unusual. Since that evening, Cayden had not bothered her, and she was happy about that.

Even though the sky was the usual flawless blue colour. Everything appeared tinted grey to her, as if she had dark sunglasses on. A girl named Millie had brought food trays the first day Selena had been left alone, but Selena had only nibbled at the food, so Millie eventually left. Selena had been restless ever since, even though she was sleeping. She was exhausted. She didn't even have the energy to look when the door opened to see who it was.

Cayden's voice commanded, "Get up."

Her head turned away from the wall for her to look at him. But when she did, it felt as though an adrenaline shock had just gone through her. She experienced a jolt of energy. It appeared as though something was trying to escape from her. When she first turned, she experienced similar feelings. However, how was this possible? Her collar area's skin was burning.

She struggled to sit up, screamed, and backed away from the headboard as if she could push through the wall and escape.

"What's wrong, Selena?" Cayden growled, "Calm down."

"You—" As she remained pressed up against the headboard, a sob tore through her body.

Her neck burned as he moved closer to her. He stopped moving because of her hysterical scream. As soon as she stood, the world spun around her, and as her body continued to tremble, she felt a familiar set of hands grab her hair and pull it back.

Cayden yelled, "Get the healer," sounding terrified.

In the most gentle voice she had ever heard, he said, "I'll help you, little wolf."

She screamed, "Get away from me!"

He picked her up and led her to the shower as she pleaded with him not to hurt her. He pushed her under the warm water even though she was scratching at his skin.

"Selena, it's going to be okay," He assured her.

She responded with a whimper, unsure of what was happening. Was she crazy or what? Was the pain and torture finally getting on to her?
