I knew that Damien was probably freaking out inside, thinking of these two people watching us. I roughly pressed myself against him, feeling his hard cock against my stomach. Damien pushed me away and looked at me with stunned eyes.
"Hanna!" he admonished, making me grin at him. His eyes went to the couple sitting in front of his desk, watching us with obvious interest. "I'm sorry. Let's continue."
Just as they were about to speak, I spoke. "No! You guys obviously look like you're really happy. Now be darlings and come back tomorrow, I need my husband."
"Hanna!" Damien whispered yelled, a dark shade of punk covering his cheeks. The couple smiled at us and nodded.
"Sure Alpha Female," The guy said, just as the girl winked at me, "Have fun!"
They left, shutting the door behind them. Before I could get one word in, Damien turned me around and glared at me. I grinned back at him. "What the hell Hanna?" he glowered, "You cannot just walk in here like that!"
I shrugged, "But I already did Alpha, what are you going to do about it?"
Damien's eyes turned dangerously dark. "Don't tempt me Hanna."
I smirked at him. "Tempt? I didn't do anything."
Damien sighed, running his hand through his hair. "What are you doing here Hanna?"
I bit my lip. "I missed you. I'm so sorry Damien! I don't know why I even doubted you. I was being stupid and emotional. I know that isn't a good enough excuse, but I don't know what else to say. I'm so sorry."
By now tears were flowing down my face, and I looked at Damien, his face blank. I gulped, hoping that he would understand. I knew that it was a lot to ask of him, but I still couldn't help it.
"Let's go home, then we'll talk," Damien muttered, picking up his phone and laptop bag from the desk. I mutely followed him out. He stopped by the reception.
"Arrange a meeting with the warriors. I want to see then first thing tomorrow morning. You can also go home Macy. There isn't anything to do."
"Yes sir," Macy nodded. I felt fear hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't know what he had in mind. I saw Macy gave me a look of pity and another spasm of fear hit me. We walked to Damien's car in silence.
"Uh... I drove here," I muttered.
I wanted Damien to tell me to leave the car, he would get it later and demand that I get into his car. But he didn't. "Okay then. I'll meet you there."
I walked to my car in silence, tears steadily streaming down my face. Damien was being so cold and it was all my fault. I drove home, Damien's car already in the driveway. I wiped my tears and walked in the house.
"Damien..." I started to say, but he cut me off.
"I don't know how much longer we can do this Hanna. Truth be told, I thought about what you told me. And it’s right. Maybe we weren't meant to be. I cannot put you in a position where you aren't happy. I'm sorry for doing this to you Hanna."
I stared at him in shock. No! "No!" I screamed. "I was the stupid one. You are the sensible one. I love you Damien, I can't imagine my life without you."
"Well, I don't think I can do this Hanna," Damien snapped. "I don't know what's up and what's down with you. One minute you want me, the next you don't."
"Damien please..." I begged, the tears flowing steadily down my face.
"And that is why I have made a decision," Damien continued, as if he hadn't heard me. "I will ask the warriors to start the search for the next Alpha. Once I step down, I want you to reject me."
"No," I said stubbornly. "I will never reject you. You'll fucking die!"
Damien looked me dead in the eye. "It isn't like I'm living now anyways, Hanna."
