"Okay."
Calvert nodded at her. As he carried her through the banquet hall, several bodyguards spotted them and quickly surrounded them.
These bodyguards, seeing how severely Calvert was injured, were all filled with guilt for not protecting him properly and were apologizing to him one after another.
But Calvert didn't care at all. He instructed the bodyguards to take Travis to the police station and then quickly headed towards the hotel lobby.
Luana wasn't wearing any clothes, but fortunately, Calvert's coat was large enough to cover her petite body.
However, she still felt very uncomfortable, worried that people coming in and out of the hotel would see her, so she buried her head deep into Calvert's chest.
As she nestled in his arms, a group of about twenty bodyguards suddenly entered the hotel entrance, blocking their way.
Calvert abruptly stopped and looked towards the entrance, where a man got out of a stretch Lincoln.
The man, dressed in a black suit and overcoat, was shrouded in the dim light.
He stood there like a statue, staring at them with a pair of cold, piercing eyes.
"Mr. Coburn."
Hearing that familiar voice, Luana's face turned pale instantly.
She didn't have time to think about why Cline was here. She just buried her head deeper into Calvert's chest.
She thought that by doing so, Cline wouldn't see her, but she didn't realize that those cold eyes were fixed on her.
Calvert naturally sensed that Cline's intentions were not friendly, but he couldn't understand where this hostility was coming from.
"Mr. Moriarty, what do you mean by this?"
He didn't think he had ever offended Cline, so why did Cline send so many bodyguards to surround them?
Cline strode forward with long steps and, as he slightly lowered his head, immediately noticed that Luana wasn't wearing any clothes.
His face darkened instantly. Even his usually charming eyes seemed to be covered with a layer of icy frost, sharp as swords.
"Give her to me."
His eyes remained fixed on Luana in Calvert's arms, never wavering.
As a man himself, Calvert understood what that look meant.
He hugged Luana tighter, took a step back, and his eyes also revealed a strong sense of possession.
"Mr. Moriarty, what is your relationship with her, and why should I give her to you?"
Cline let out a cold laugh. His indifferent charming eyes glanced at Luana briefly.
"Will you go with him or with me?"
He didn't even bother to answer Calvert's question, just giving Luana a choice.
Luana, under the gaze of those charming eyes, felt her heart almost leap into her throat.
She had thought Cline came to the hotel for some other reason, but she didn't expect him to be looking for her.
This left Luana somewhat at a loss. She looked at Cline with confusion in her eyes.
Cline had never revealed his relationship with Luana to anyone before. This was the first time.
Moreover, it was after he had said he would never come to find her again that he so openly appeared in front of her.
What... was going on with him?
"Mr. Moriarty, she doesn't know you well, so naturally, she won't go with you."
Calvert hugged Luana tighter, as if trying to merge her into his own body.
He had already vaguely guessed their relationship but didn't want to think it through.
He was afraid that once he did, he wouldn't be able to bear it, so he just pretended to be oblivious.
Luana, sensing Calvert's unease, snapped out of her daze.
"Mr. Moriarty, I'm sorry, but I can't go with you."
Calvert had just been injured while saving her, and she needed to accompany him to the hospital for treatment. So she mustered up the courage to refuse Cline.
The man in front of her, upon hearing this, had an even deeper chill in his eyes. Even his eyebrows and eyes seemed cold.
Luana didn't dare to look at Cline like this, quickly turned her head, and said to Calvert, "Let's go."
Upon hearing this, Calvert's expression softened a lot.
No matter what their relationship was, the fact that Luana had chosen him at this moment was the best outcome.
He put away his heavy emotions, held Luana tightly, and without a word, walked past Cline.
Cline glanced at Luana, his dark, gloomy eyes seeming to pierce through her.
Luana quickly lowered her eyes, trying to avoid his burning gaze, but he suddenly grabbed her arm with a forceful grip, pulling her out of Calvert's arms.

Caught off guard, Luana fell to the ground.
The injured part of her back rubbed against the floor, causing her to break out in a cold sweat from the pain.
But she didn't have time to think about the pain and quickly reached out to pick up the coat that had slipped off her.
Unfortunately, before her hand could touch the edge of the coat, Cline kicked it away.
Then, she felt warmth as a large black overcoat was draped over her, covering even her exposed legs.

The faint, familiar scent made Luana stand there in a daze.
She slowly looked up at Cline. He was standing in front of her.
For a moment, she thought he had gone mad... for grabbing her from Calvert's arms in public.

Didn't he care that people would find out about their relationship?
