"Someone photographed me entering your building."
The words fall into the silence of Asher's office like stones dropped into still water.
I hold the phone toward them, my hand trembling so badly the screen blurs, and watch their expressions shift from confusion to understanding to something far more dangerous.
Asher takes the device first.
His jaw tightens as the image loads, those steel eyes scanning every pixel with the same precision he brings to quarterly reports.
He passes it to Blaine without a word, and I watch amber eyes darken into something predatory as the implications settle.
"When did this arrive?"
Cole's voice comes from my left, steady despite the tension radiating from his shoulders.
"Ethan, look at me and tell me exactly when you received this."
"Last night, around eleven."
I force myself to meet his gaze.
"Unknown sender, no subject line, just the attachment. I didn't sleep after I saw it, and I've been running scenarios in my head ever since, trying to figure out who could have followed me, who would have known where I was going."
"It's a warning shot," Blaine says.
His thumb is swiping across the screen as he examines the metadata.
"Someone wants us to know they're watching, but they haven't made demands yet. That means they're either building a case or waiting to see how we react before deciding their next move."
"Hargrove has been making implications about how I earned my promotion."
The confession scrapes out of my throat.
"He cornered me in the break room yesterday, practically accused me of sleeping my way to the executive floor, and then I overheard him on the phone telling someone he was going to make an example of me. This could be him gathering evidence, building something he can use to destroy my career."
"No one threatens what's ours."
Asher's voice drops to a register I've never heard before—cold fury wrapped in absolute control.
"Whatever Hargrove thinks he knows, whatever he imagines he can accomplish by surveilling you, he's about to learn that there are consequences for targeting someone under our protection."
The possessiveness in his words undoes something I've been holding together with desperation and denial.
Tears prick behind my eyes, and I blink them back furiously.
"You don't understand what this means for me."
My voice cracks on the admission.
"If those photos go public, if anyone connects me to this building, to the three of you, everything I've worked for becomes ammunition. People will say I didn't earn anything, that every achievement was purchased with my body instead of my competence. The narrative Hargrove is constructing will become the only story anyone tells about me."
"Then we control the narrative."
Cole moves closer, his hand finding mine with warm certainty.
"We investigate the source, we identify the threat, and we neutralize it before it has the chance to harm you. You're not facing this alone anymore, Ethan. That's what it means to belong to us—your battles become our battles, and we don't lose."
"The security team will trace the email origin within twenty-four hours," Asher adds.
His fingers are already moving across his own phone.
"In the meantime, I want you here where we can ensure your safety. The penthouse has surveillance countermeasures that will prevent any further documentation of your movements."
"You want me to stay here tonight?"
The question comes out smaller than I intend.
"I want you to stay here every night until we've eliminated whoever thinks they can threaten you without consequence."
Asher sets his phone aside and fixes me with that paralizing gaze.
"But more immediately, I want you to stop pretending you're not terrified and let us take care of you the way we've been wanting to since the moment we found you."
The walls I've rebuilt since Friday crumble like they were made of paper.
I don't remember crossing the distance between us.
One moment I'm standing frozen by the door, and the next Asher's mouth is on mine, his hands fisting in my hair as he kisses me with an intensity that steals every coherent thought from my head.
Cole's warmth presses against my back while Blaine's fingers work at my buttons, and I'm drowning in desire without apology.
They guide me to the leather sofa against the far wall.
Asher's hands map my body with precision while Cole's lips trace patterns along my neck that make me gasp.
Blaine positions himself beside us, his amber eyes cataloging every reaction as his brothers strip away my defenses one touch at a time.
"Tell me you want this," Asher murmurs against my throat. "Tell me you understand that whatever happens in this room changes nothing about how we see you, and everything about how you see yourself."
"I want this." The words come out ragged, desperate. "I want all of you, together, the way I've been imagining since before I had permission to imagine anything at all."
What follows breaks me open in ways I didn't know were possible.
Asher enters me with devastating slowness while Cole positions himself at my mouth, and the dual sensation of being filled from both ends overwhelms every circuit in my brain.
Blaine's hands roam everywhere—my chest, my thighs, the sensitive skin behind my knees—finding nerve endings I didn't know existed and setting them ablaze.
The intensity builds like a wave I cannot outrun.
Cole moves against my lips while Asher drives deeper, and somewhere in the middle of it all,
Blaine shifts behind his brother until I feel pressure at my entrance that should be impossible. I tense instinctively, but Asher's voice cuts through the panic.
"Breathe, Ethan. We've got you, and this is going to feel like nothing you've ever experienced. Trust us to take you there."
The stretch of both of them inside me shatters something I've been holding together my entire life.
Tears stream down my face—not from pain, but from the sheer overwhelming intensity of sensation and emotion colliding into something I cannot name.
I sob around Cole while Asher and Blaine move in tandem, their bodies claiming mine with coordinated precision that leaves no part of me untouched.
"That's it," Cole whispers as he withdraws, his fingers replacing his mouth, stroking through my hair while I fall apart between his brothers. "Let go, beautiful. We're right here, and we're not going anywhere."
The orgasm that crashes through me feels like dying and being reborn.
I shatter into a thousand pieces while they hold me together, their voices weaving through the aftermath like lifelines I can finally grab without shame.
They hold me for hours afterward.
Cole's chest rises and falls beneath my cheek while Asher traces lazy patterns across my hip, Blaine's warmth anchoring me from behind.
The tears have dried on my face, but the aftershocks still ripple through my body in waves I cannot control.
"You're safe," Asher murmurs against my temple. "Whatever comes tomorrow, whoever sent that photograph, you're safe with us. Nothing and no one will take you away."
I wait for the shame to arrive.
I wait for my father's voice to crash through the silence, screaming wrong the way it always has after pleasure, after wanting, after every moment of being touched by men who see me clearly.
The voice doesn't come.
For the first time in my life, pleasure exists without punishment.
I close my eyes against Cole's chest and let myself feel it.
