A black Porsche stopped before the stylish looking SkyScraper which had letters written in Black - Radiant group of Industries.
Buttoning up the coat, a stunning Apollo came out of the car. His polished black shoes kissed the ground as he walked to the steps in strict dominant strides. The security at the entrance raised his foot and saluted him to receive a strict nod.
The employees parted from his way like a red sea before greeting him. The receptionist scurried behind him taking long steps.
Jacob Taylor, the CEO of Radiant group of Industries, was always on time with not a second on the other side of the clock to reach the office though he owned it. He would mark as a disciplinarian to set the new Guinness record after India's Mahatma Gandhi. Jacob hated tardiness and employees with no positive results, he wouldn't think twice to retrench such people from his company.
An attendant came rushing and pressed the button of the elevator before he reached it. "I need minute details of yesterday's pharmaceutical deal with Russian delegates, Stella and where is the file of Wilson's quotation?" Jacob slightly raised his voice in irritation as soon as he reached his oak wood desk which had several files, documents arranged on it serially for his perusal.
"Yes sir...yes..within a minute sir.." The assistant hurried back to the exit when she heard his perilous tone.
"Next time I see you missing any file on my desk you will not have to come back to the office the next day." Stella only nodded, not able to collect her words for the pensiveness she suffered. She got back the file and all the details that he needed within the next twenty seconds.
The employees of the Radiant group wondered how the young girl was able to handle his severity and mood swings.
Little did people know what she really intended from the man?
"Tell the Wilson's that we are not ready to collaborate with them." He profoundly stated after examining the details of the file.
"Okay Sir." Stella called in a moan and bent a little more than necessary, almost shoving her breasts into his face.
Jacob looked at her in abhorrence and called baleful. "I do not tolerate sluttiness in my office." He pointed at her mini skirt and her tight shirt with half open buttons with disgust that was too revealing for an office attire and which was hardly covering her hips.
"I am sorry sir." She answered him professionally but was novice and too late to know her boss was not the one to mess up private matters with official work. His heart belonged to a certain someone who was in charge of the organ for almost a decade from then.
She was embarrassed at his gesture and ran out of the room feeling sheepish. Had she not been working in the firm she would never have shown her face to him again.
Few minutes later....
"You want to collaborate with us and build a factory for making plastics which would emit harmful chemicals in the air thereby damaging the lungs and kidneys of people." Jacob looked at the presenter of Apollo Plastics seriously, daring him to counter his statement.
"Do you know there is a village of 30,000 children and 10,000 veterans just 50 miles away from the place you are planning to build the factory? What is your explanation on this?" He slapped his flattened palms on the enormous table before him bringing shivers down the spine of the presenter.
"Mr Trident I will not only go against collaborating with you but also not allow you to build your firm at the place. If you go against the rules, I will see the state authorities are behind you where you will face charges ten times more than the cost to build the factory." Jacob called in the dominance of a king towards a rule before getting up from the chair with his hands in pant pockets and walked out of the conference room, giving no chance for any of the assembled company's delegates to speak further.
As soon as he walked to his desk the receptionist placed a file before him. "Sir the private investigator Mr Samuel Peterson arrived here fifteen minutes ago and asked to give you this file."
On the top of the folder were written in bold letters Anastasia Shelton.
Breath hitched his throat as soon as he read the epithet that gave him several sleepless nights in the past.
His shaky hands gingerly reached the file and ran his trembling fingers on the much familiar name.
******
As soon as he opened the file, the first page was a huge photo of her, the same crystal blue eyes were so huge, bright, lively and pristine which could steal any man's heart with just a glimpse. Her long curly brown hair was falling on her face making her face angelic. It radiated the innocence and prettiness of a flower.
He continued to read the pages inside the file with the time until his receptionist came and knocked at his door. In a trembling voice she spoke. "Sir it is nine in the night, can I leave home?"
Jacob did not make the note of the clock like always when it is concerned about her. His time would halt and the world would stop moving when the matter is about Anastasia. He only nodded and went back to the file till he read the last line of the document and a soft sob broke out of his lips.
She is now a prostitute.
