3rd person P.O.V
The next morning Logan wakes up from Sofia's crying. I look at the clock to check the time which is on the nightstand and see it's 8:00 am. He walks to Sofia's crib and picks her up in his arm.
“Shhhh don’t cry papa is here you don’t want to wake your mother up do you ” he ask Sofia kissing her forehead. Sofia stopped crying leans on his chest and look at her sleeping mother and giggled.
“You may be hungry, let’s go and find something to eat, ” he said walking down to the kitchen with a smile.
“Ah, morning Logan how are you,” Alex asks watching Logan entering the living room.
“Good morning Alex I am fine what about you? Sofia was hungry so we come here to find something to eat. ” Logan said with a smile.
“Hey there Sofia did you sleep well? ” Alex ask Sofia with a smile which she replied with silence and then hide in Logan’s chest. Alex facepalms himself and shakes his head.
“Hey, why are you hiding Sofia are you afraid ” Logan ask to her and she nodded her head.
“Don’t worry Sofia your uncle is not going to hurt you, infect he is going to protect you? ” Logan said when Sofia look at her. Sofia then looks at Alex and smiled at her which makes her giggle. Right then Erika enters the living room yawning.
“Good morning sister in law do you sleep well,” Alex asks smiling at her.
“Good morning Alex I sleep well thank you what about you,” Erika asks
“Good Morning love, ” Logan said and kiss her Erika return the kiss. Sofia gets happy to see her mother and stretches her arm waiting to take her in her arm. Erika happily takes her from Logan’s arm and kissed her. Erika walks to sit on a couch and feed Sofia while watching T.V.Alex and Logan follow her when Melissa and Zake enter the living room and wish good morning to everyone.
"Good morning," Erika smiled at them. And then all of them go to the dining table
"Dad," Erika calls him hesitantly.
"Yes, what is it?" Zake said looking at her.
"I found out that after the death of my parents you guys have formed a community to look after the kingdom, and you guys have a meeting every year to discuss to check that the community is working according to our standard, right?" She asks him and he nodded his head to him.
"Then, is that alright with you that you catch up with me with what has happened with my kingdom when I was not here and give me a visit to mu palace and kingdom, it's not like I don't trust you guys but still," she said hesitantly while fidgeting with her fingers.
"Of course dear and it's alright I will take you to your kingdom and also give the updates to you about what has happened till now behind your back, it's normal that you ask it, I would have worried if you haven't asked me that," Zake said chuckling at her seeing how uncomfortable she was while asking him that to let her be easy.
"Thank you, dad, thank you so much," she said smiling at him.
"So when do you want to go there?" Zake asks her.
"A day after tomorrow, will it be alright with you?" she asks him.
"OF course, I will inform the community and make preparation to go there," Zake said and walk out of there to prepare to go there.
"We will also go with you," Logan said to her while playing with Sofiya.
"Of, course love, I don't want another way around," she said smiling at him and giving him a peck on his cheek.
"Thank you, love, " Logan said smiling at her and kissing her passionately after eating their breakfast they go back to their room.
After two days they got up early in the morning to leave for her kingdom and after getting ready and eating their breakfast they leave for their journey. It's taken them 2 days to reach there. As soon as she entered the gate of her castle she was given a very warm welcome by the people of the community. The whole kingdom was decorated with flowers, colors, and lights. The community people were standing outside with garlands in their hands to welcome her. Erika felt overwhelmed by all the love she gets from her people.
"She is a celebrity, isn't she, little brother?" Alex asks Logan.
"She is a guardian angel, and not forget that she was the one who makes Roshan fall unconscious when she was a child, don't you have heard the story of a legend angle?" Logan asks smirking at him and Alex nodded his head in agreement.
"Be careful little brother, I have a feeling they are going to keep your daughter and mate with them and shoo you away," Alex said teasing him and logan glare at him with a scowl on his face.
"Nothing like that is going to happen if Erika decided to stay here, then so will Logan, everyone knows what happens when a vampire/werewolf/Lycian lost his mate or if someone tried to separate them, don't you remember what happens when Erika got hurt or did you forgot?" Mellissa asks her.
"I remember," Alex said and shuddered in fear.
"Good," Mellissa said and look forward.
"How did you know she is the princess of your kingdom?" Logan asks her father when he saw how they welcome his mate.
"We can feel the power radiating from her, it's is the power that made you bow down on your knees when you come near her, only the royal families of this kingdom can radiate that kind of power," Johnny one of the community member explain to him and he nodded his head.
"You guys must be tired, Maitri will take you to your room, dinner will be served at 9:00, Your highness your room was just the same as it was if you want to stay there you can and if you want another room then we don't have any problem with it too," Joy one of the community member said to her.
"We will stay in my room," Erika said pointing at her mate and daughter.
"Okay, then we will take our leaves and see you at dinner, if you want anything or want to meet us you can ask any maid and she will tell you where you can find us, good night your highness, good night everyone," they all said their goodnights and walk to their room.
As soon as Erika enters her room, all the memories started to play in her mind, her playing with her father, pillow fights with her old friends and brother, etc.
'Everything is the same, nothing is changed except the bedsheet and pillow cover' she said smiling sadly and a tear falls down her eyes.
"What happens, Erika, why are you crying?" Logan asks getting worried.
"It's nothing, it's just coming here refresh all the memories I spend with people I love like my mother, father, brother friends come back suddenly. I missed them. I missed them." she said wiping her eyes.
"I don't know where they are but wherever they are they would be proud of the woman you have become, look even Sofia agreed with me," Logan said and she saw Sofia stretching her hand for her to pick her in her arms. When Erika takes her in her arms Sofia wipes her face with her small hands and Erika kissed her. Logan smiled at them looking content.
"I love you, and I am very lucky to have you both in my life," Erika said to him smiling at him.
"Me too," Logan said and kissed her passionately.
After that, they change their clothes, get fresh and go down to have dinner. They talk for some time, mainly the people of the community asking her about herself and how she meets with Ellwood. After dinner, they walk back to their room and go to sleep feeling tired from their journey.
