The Billionaire's One-Night Stand!

Chapter 66: Auntie And Niece.

Ch. 66 / 115 Sep 17, 2024

The man's deep dark eyes outside flashed a dangerous light.

He tilted his head, retorting: "If not welcoming me, then who are you welcoming? Patrick next door, perhaps?" If he's already next door, then let him stay next door forever.

He wouldn't allow any other man to approach his woman.

In an instant, Flora turned pale, mouth agape, but not knowing what to say next.

This man was too possessive, and today he was not in a good mood, the slightest careless word could spark a bullet.

"Since I'm here, are you really going to leave me outside?"

Flora frowned at him: "Don't push me, or I'll have you 'dealt with'!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she gestured across her neck in a slicing motion.

Matthew laughed, before he could reply, a sweet feminine voice echoed from behind: "Auntie, who exactly are you planning to 'deal with'?"

Flora's beautiful face froze, a big question mark appearing on it.

Who was this girl? Why was she interfering in her conversation with Matthew?

The girl who just emerged from behind Matthew, ponytail revealing a clean forehead, a tight mini dress showcasing her fiery figure, a sight for sore eyes.

Hand on suitcase, leaning casually against the pole, her red lips curling into a smirk that was half a smile.

Flora's mood took a sharp turn from dreary to stormy.

Because the suitcase that the girl was dragging was the one placed at Matthew's feet.

Turns out it wasn't Matthew's belongings, but those of the beautiful, infuriating girl.

Or worse, the shared luggage of both.

"Matthew, my house is very small, it can't accommodate so many people.

Or perhaps you and your beauty..." Flora arched an eyebrow, gesturing dismissively.

Matthew didn't seem taken aback, he chuckled shaking his head: "I find the house quite spacious.

Are you jealous? Mimi has no intimate connection with me, she is just..."

"Oh, calling her so familiarly?" Despite her attempt to keep her voice level, the acidic note was unmistakable: "This is my home. I have every right to call the police on any intruder."

She still claimed she wasn't jealous, despite everything.

Matthew's smile deepened at the sight of her.

Suddenly, Flora's jealousy felt irresistibly endearing to him. He moved to pat her head affectionately, but she dodged his gesture with ease.

Flora crossed her arms and stood her ground in front of him, showing clear intent that she won't let him off without a satisfactory explanation.

He sighed reluctantly: "I can't trust that clumsy brat to protect you.

So I had to bring someone trustworthy.

Despite Mimi's sweet façade, she's actually quite skilled."

The girl by his side also smiled: "Hello, auntie. I'll protect you from now on.

I hope we can live together happily."

Flora was nearly petrified on the spot.

Here was a girl with a full figure and striking beauty, standing in front of her, addressing her as "auntie." referring to herself as "niece." It almost sounded like a mockery.

Before she could retort, the man beside her quickly caught on to her peculiar expression.

Seemingly reading her mind, Matthew explained patiently: "Mimi is the granddaughter of an elder.

Technically, she could also be considered my niece.

She's only fifteen, and she has been calling me uncle since she was a kid."

Calling Matthew "uncle" and her "auntie." the implication of this addressing was obvious even without explanation.

Flora flushed a deep red, both out of embarrassment for misunderstanding and shock for understanding the girl's true identity.

But... looking at Mimi's figure, her eyes spelled out four words: "I can't believe it."

Are teenagers maturing this quickly these days? She's only fifteen and already looks like a grown woman.

After the misunderstanding was cleared, the next issue was accommodation.

That's when Mimi's childlike nature started to show a bit.

Matthew naturally chose to share a room with the lady of the house.

While Mimi didn't bother to choose and immediately carried her suitcase into the room that was originally Emma's.

"Hey, you! Ever heard of manners? Who allowed you to barge into my room?" Emma glared at the newcomer, puffing up like a cub protecting its territory.

"You little country girl, kindly move your junk out." Her high heels clicking on the tile floor, Mimi crossed her arms and looked down at Emma: "From now on, this is my room." Her dominance was total.

Emma wasn't one to back down. After a brief moment of shock, she immediately blocked the path: "Who are you calling a country girl? This is my room, why should I give it up for you?"

"Whoever answers is the one I'm referring to." Mimi shrugged: "And why should you give it up? Because I like this room more, it has a better view... Besides, the more competent should always get the best, right?"

Mimi was used to the cutthroat competitions in the underground world of assassins.

Absolute power equals absolute rights.

Emma's face turned red, her temper flaring up: "Let's fight! Let's see if I can't shred your damned mouth!"

The two adults stood by, dark-faced as the two rebellious teenagers started to fight.

Flora was a bit worried, but when she looked at Matthew, she saw his eyes gleaming with excitement, watching the fight.

"Aren't you worried at all? They just met and they're already fighting..."

Matthew shook his head: "The world of the young is very dynamic, you wouldn't understand.

A little friction and they'll be best friends."

His words succeeded in earning him a bullet-shaped glare from Flora.

Explain all you want, but there's no need to bring up her age.

"Matthew, are you suggesting I'm old?" She questioned, her eyes flickering a warning.

Matthew, stretching out his arms, enfolded the tender form of the woman who was glaring at him, and chuckled: "In comparison with those whippersnappers, maybe. But for me... you're just right."

"You pay heed to the words of the youth, I'd rather you expend that energy on paying attention to me."

A heated kiss landed on her rosy lips.

Flora instinctively tilted her head to reciprocate Matthew's kiss.

His hand pressed firmly against her waist, sneaking under her clothes.

By the time she looked around again, she found herself unknowingly pulled into the bedroom.

The room's door shut tight, the window curtains also dropped down in silence.

In the middle of the day, the room's dim, hazy light was perfect for things that defy detailed description...

"In the early stages of pregnancy, if you want to ensure the baby's safety, you have to restrain... 'that matter'.

You should not engage too frequently!" The doctor looked at the young woman in front of him with an exasperated face, coughed lightly: "Ahem... Is your husband with you today? Let me have a word with him..."

Flora's face turned scarlet with embarrassment, she hurriedly waved her hands: "No... no need... He's not... No... The baby's father didn't come today..."

Her face blushed to a flaming red, at a loss of what to say next, and clueless about where to put her hands and feet to appear less awkward.

The source of today's unusual prenatal checkup, must trace back to when Matthew and that girl Mimi moved into her apartment.

Since the day Mimi moved in, along with Emma, those two girls of similar age turned the apartment into a circus of chaos.

And Matthew, that damned man! Thinking of him, Flora couldn't help but grit her teeth.

Matthew brought no belongings, didn't stay for a day, but was no stranger to her bed.

Moreover, he deliberately left traces in noticeable places, forcing her to hide in embarrassment every time she went out.

That overbearing, annoying man!

Flora silently decided not to inform him about her premature pregnancy.

Hmph, if he wants to disrupt her life and do as he pleases, she'll keep the good news to herself for a bit longer.

"Currently, the baby is developing normally, with no problems.

You just need to pay attention to 'that matter', reduce the frequency, and be more gentle.

I'll prescribe some Traditional Chinese Medicine for you, drink it for prenatal nourishment at home.

Your diet should focus on nutrition, and rest should be reasonable." The doctor advised patiently, swiftly writing on the paper.

Taking the prescription from the doctor, Flora headed straight out.

In the corridor, a man was waiting with crossed arms, quickly stood up upon hearing the door open.

"How did it go? What did the doctor say?" The urgency in his tone would have suggested to a stranger that he was the father of the baby in Flora's womb.

Flora shook her head, slightly quirking her lips: "No issues, the doctor just prescribed some more medication, said it's for prenatal care."

Patrick snatched the prescription from Flora's hand, taking over the task of purchasing the medication.

Not long after, he returned with a big bag full of packages.

He naturally took her fragile wrist and led her outside: "It turns out that the doctor prescribed all Traditional Chinese Medicine, that's good, Traditional Chinese Medicine is all herbs, certainly milder than Western medicine."

Nodding as a sign of agreement with his comment, Flora retrieved her hand without a trace.

Patrick glanced at his own hand but said nothing, instead, he strode directly towards the parking lot.

For now, he was the only one who knew about Flora's pregnancy, and also the only one who could take her for regular check-ups.
