" Stop," I order the driver in the middle of a busy street, covering my hair and part of my face, I go into the abandoned warehouse, I've been seeing it for a while now.
The warehouse full of oil, the smell is bad but I just need to be here for a few hours,m then later at night I can leave. I luckily find a room which looks a little cleaner than the others, I leave my things to check out the building, no one is in here, I sigh sitting on a wooden bench, what's next now? I don't even know how Mrs smith is doing, I hope she's well.
" She's here," Startled by that voice, I get to my feet. I was sure the voice belongs to Mikael. Taking careful steps, I look through the small space, and I was right, he's taking to a tall, lean girl with blue eyes and a hint of green to them, her hair is golden.
I look for a way out but it's futile, I grab a long stiff stick and run towards Mikael with the intend to hit him but he grabs it and when he suddenly releases it, I fall on my ass.
The woman rushes to me.
" Aviana," she whispers, putting a strand of hair behind my ear. I stare at her alluring eyes and she gives me a tiny smile that shows her dimples. I feel safe with her but everything in me is telling me to run! Get away from them. I back away and she goes to stand with Mikael talking in hushed tones, She's .....scolding him and he looks ashamed
"Oh my God, how did they find me?" I mutter.
" If they didn't give you the information when you gave them the Witch's bracelet what made you think they would when you take her to them?" Mikael is quiet as the woman talks, he isn't wearing a smug smile.
" You're an idiot Mikael, utterly pathetic," she hisses, I look at her once more, everything about her screams power and Authority. Her slender figure and looking so sure.
"I had to try, I was so desperate," he says lowly, looking almost pitiful.
I get my lighter and throw it in their direction next to the containers of oil and I run luckily I already had my bag, for a while, I don't feel them follow but I have to leave before that thing explodes, I breath when I reach the last stair downstairs, why is this happening to me right now?
Soon I hear an explosion and I see smoke as soon as I reach the corner, using the back route, finally free I go through the alley, I blew them up but the girl was good to me but I'm sure she wanted to take me to Marion or Tao. Troy said I can't trust him at all.
So lost in my thoughts, I look up and see them, how? I see them. How are they alive?
"There she is!" She spats pointing in my direction, no pissed is an understatement, she keeps coming towards me like a predator would to her prey yet looks graceful doing it, Mikael is chilled but the woman is glaring at me, her eyes very dark wait I thought they were blue-green
I look around and there's no way no run and this area is secluded, I close my eyes cursing my luck but mainly because I don’t want to see what this woman will do to me, a strong arm pulls me away from them in a hurry, I look up to see him and I feel relieved, Nikolas, when we reach his car, he stops
"Are you coming with me or not because she looks very Angry," he says looking at that woman who is still glaring and growling. I look between them too and I would rather be anywhere than face her anger, he opens the door and shut it roughly then comes to the driver's seat and start the car.
I let out a long sigh, wait why I'm I comfortable? This man is kidnapping, what should I do jump out? But will I survive? What if it hurts this child I won't be able to get paid, all this will be in vain.
As if sensing my inner turmoil he puts on the child's lock.
"Seriously?"
"You're unpredictable, wifey," he says shrugging looking at me, and for the first time, he glances my way but not to me, at my belly again, as if listening for life in there. I zip my denim jacket, this man is so... I don't know. Does he know I'm with a child? But it's so little and my stomach is still flat, how old again? Two weeks.
He continues on the tarmac this time looking at the road. His eyes are a bit red and I can't help but feel a little guilty.
"I won't harm you," he repeats.
"Why did you help me?" I question but he ignores me.
"What did you do to Aurora," he asked a bit amused,
" Oh, that's her name? The young lady with unique eyes and hair?" I ask, he nods Aurora I repeat she's scary when she's angry and intimating but strikingly beautiful
"Well I blew her up," he lets out a chuckle nodding, he looks very impressed and I'm proud of myself.
We drive for about ten minutes, and we reach a part of the city I am unfamiliar with, it’s so pretty with tall buildings too and tarmac everywhere I look, is there a part of the city that isn’t nice? But it has woods around
Nikolas pulls off on a Mansion, it’s all white and huge, with nice shiny pavement and a lawn well down, there are three cars which look very expensive in the driveway, I can see a garage on the other side of the house, across is a pool, I look around impressed, how rich is this man?
Nikolas waits for me, looking very impatient leaning against his car as I look around cautiously.
" Done?"
We go inside and it looks even bigger, a lot of people are passing by, bowing a little to us as we pass.
It has beautiful white tiles and is very well famished with dull colors but everything looks nice and classy.
We stop in a salon, it’s neat, like the other part of the house I’ve seen so far everything is dark brown, I look around the house, couldn’t it be more colorful?
My eyes land on the man now standing very close to me, why is he so close? My heart is beating very fast as he raises his hand.
What is he doing?
