The Alpha Triplets and the Rogue

Chapter 256 Torn Between Lovers

Ch. 256 / 580 Jan 28, 2026

Mae POV

I look between Tish and Kieran in disbelief. I cannot believe that Kieran is the same man that Tish had sex with in the bar.

Just the thought of him touching her sends a wave of anger through my body. It is stronger than I have ever felt before. I know I feel jealous, but I don't know who I am most jealous of. Am I jealous because Tish slept with someone who is supposedly my soul mate or because Kieran can offer Tish something that I can't?

I pull myself back into Tish's arms. She wraps her arms around me and holds me close, pressing her lips to my forehead.

We both watch as Kieran walks over to Jameson. A claw extends from Kieran's fingertip, and he runs it across Jameson's cheek, causing blood to bubble to the surface of Jameson's skin.

"Do you know who I am?" Kieran snarls at Jameson.

Jameson looks at the three men who claim to be Kieran's fathers and then at Kieran. A sneer spreads across Jameson's lips. "I know who you are. You are a traitor to the crown."

Kieran grips Jameson around the throat, ripping him from his fathers arms. "What did you say?"

"You heard me," Jameson says as he gasps for air. "Everyone knows you betrayed your sister. Even us rogues."

"If you know so much about me, then you know that I made amends with my sister. She has forgiven me," Kieran snarls.

"But has the rest of the werewolf community?" Jameson attempts to laugh.

Kieran slams Jameson against the wall harder, leaving a dent behind his head. "Why are you here touching my mate?"

Jameson scoffs. "She was my mate first."

Kieran turns his head to look at me, and there is sadness in his eyes. "Is this true?"

"I don't know?" I mutter. "We dated for a while. But he broke up with me."

"Did he reject you?" One of Kieran's fathers asks me.

"I don't know," I respond. "He said he rejected me."

The three men let out a sigh of relief, but Kieran doesn't seem satisfied.

"Reject her," he commands Jameson.

"I won't," Jameson says as he struggles to breathe. "It was a mistake the first time."

Jameson's face begins to contort as he struggles to breathe. I start to shake with fear, and Tish holds me closer.

"Don't watch," she warns me.

"What is going to happen?" I cry.

"I am teaching this rogue a lesson for touching what is mine," Kieran says without looking back at me.

"Son," one of his fathers says. "Now is not the time for this."

"You are scaring your mate," another one says.

Kieran looks over his shoulder and into my eyes. I plead with my eyes for Kieran to let Jameson go.

Dropping Jameson to the ground, Kieran approaches me and tries to take me away from Tish. Tish turns her body so he can't touch me.

"Jameson isn't your only competition," she hisses at Kieran. "I won't let you take her from me. She isn't made for your world."

Pushing myself away from Tish, I look at her with wide eyes. "Are you one of them too?"

"Of course not," she retorts. "I just work for one."

I begin to feel faint. Does everyone know about this supernatural world except for me? "I need to sit down," I mumble as I stagger toward the couch.

Dots begin to fill my vision, and I struggle to stay awake. I see Kieran's fathers dragging Jameson from the apartment. Jameson isn't fighting them. His head is slumped over, and it makes me wonder if one of them knocked him out again.

Tish sits beside me on the couch and gently rubs my back. "It is okay," she tells me. "Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth."

Tish turns to Kieran. "There are some pills in the cabinet above the stove. Grab them."

Kieran races to the kitchen and digs through every cabinet except the one above the stove. Tish rolls her eyes and leaves my side. She grabs my panic pills and a glass of water. She rushes back to my side, hands me my pills, and wraps me in her arms again.

Tish strokes my hair gently, trying to get me to calm down.

"What is going on?" Kieran asks as he takes the seat on my opposite side.

"She is having a panic attack," Tish hisses at him. "You did this."

"How was I supposed to know?" Kieran hisses back at Tish.

"She is too fragile for your world," Tish says as he holds me tighter. "Do her a favor and reject her."

They are talking about me like I am not even in the room, but my brain is too hazy for me to care. I lean into Tish, and she kisses me lightly on the lips.

"I won't reject her," Kieran growls. "She is my second chance. I may not get another."

I can feel Tish rolling her eyes. "You are a big, bad Alpha. You probably have tons of women lining up to be your Luna or whatever it is called."

"Only bar whores," Kieran snaps at her.

"What are you trying to say?" Tish growls.

"I think we both know what I am saying," Kieran laughs.

"You weren't calling me a whore when your dick was buried in my pussy," Tish laughs.

"Can we not talk about his dick inside of you right now," I blurt out. "I don't want to picture the two of you together."

Tish and Kieran finally turn their attention back to me and mumble an apology.

Kieran lays his hand on my bare leg, and the electricity pulsates between us again. I want to lean into his touch, but right now, I am too angry at both of them to want either of them.

"Tish, I am not fragile," I tell her, and Kieran snorts with laughter. "And you," I say, turning to Kieran. "Just how many women have you been sleeping with while you waited for me."

Kieran's mouth opens and shuts like a fish out of water. "Are you really going to punish me for what I have done before I met you?"

"I think you should go," Tish says as she gets to her feet.

"I am not going anywhere," Kieran snaps at her. "Your door is broken."

"You aren't sleeping with Mae and me," Tish grumbles.

"You two sleep together?" Kieran asks, and I can tell he is wounded.

"What we do is none of your business?" Tish spits at him.

Tish pulls me to my feet and leads me back down the hallway to my bedroom. I glance over my shoulder to see Kieran making himself comfortable on the couch.

Tish drags me into my bedroom and plops down on my bed. She opens her arms for me to join her, and I shake my head. "Maybe we should sleep separately tonight."

"Absolutely not," Tish squeals. "Not with a strange man in the apartment."

"A strange man you have slept with," I remind her.

"Shut up," Tish groans. "It was a one-night stand. It didn't mean anything. Now get in this bed and cuddle with me."
