Lanre nodded faintly and drove off. Besides staying to observe his aunt, there isn't much he has to do that morning.
He would stop by in his apartment and see the other servants before returning to the hospital.
He called Julia and he said he was fine. He woke up when he ought to and it seemed he would overcome his insomnia soon.
Lanre was happy as expected of a doctor whose patient is responding to treatment.
Lanre said if he feels anything unusual, he should inform him immediately. Looks like Julia is not reacting to the medication this time.
Few hours through the day's work, Carol Li called Theresa. She said they were going to see the wedding dress. She asked if she could make it from work?
Theresa wondered if she had to go to see her mother-in-law. Her measurements were already sent to the designer who wants to handle the dress.
All the same, she agreed and decided she would go. She went to inform Junxie Li that she was going to Li's residence to see his mother.
Junxie Li said she should go in the company of some bodyguards. They were not to take things for granted simply because Alex Si has been handled.
Theresa Mo said ok. And as she wants to leave, Junxie said he would accompany her. They got into the car and Junxie Li instructed the Chauffeur to take them to the hospital first.
When they arrived, he asked that she have a pregnancy test. Theresa smiled. She wondered why Junxie Li had said they should come to the hospital.
He wants to have her tested for pregnancy. She was happy as she was treated with respect.
She is President Li's fiance. Some already knew they were getting married. She was going to be the young madam of the family.
She remembered the first time she went for a pregnancy test, she met her brother but didn't know he was her twin.
She was shivering, afraid to take the result from his hand. She doesn't know who got her pregnant and she doesn't have a home of her own.
When the results came positive, she was like the wall should have a crack and she disappeared through it.
It was Lanre who helped her and saw her through those difficult times. Thank goodness, she can now look back to those times and smile.
The results was out and Junxie Li collected them. Theresa was straining her neck to read what's written inside.
"It's positive right?" Theresa asked. She looked at Junxie's poker face. She wants to read what's on that face of his.
"What I can read here is that you are carrying my baby and I am going to be a father again.." Junxie Li announced.
Theresa smiled, her eyes welled up and she glanced at Junxie. They were alone in that office. His hand lingered on her belly, feeling the warmth of her flat belly.
His baby is in there but definitely tiny like the seed of a pea. Theresa placed her hand on his, and saw Junxie Li concentrated on feeling her belly.
The joy and excitement in his eyes makes her feel teary. When a drop of her tears fell on Junxie's hand, he paused and looked at her.
" I'm With you this time. And I promise to be with you as often as I can" Junxie said and brought out his white handkerchief, wiping her tears off.
When they came out of the executive chairman's office, they met Lanre again. He was surprised they came around again.
" Guess what Lanre, I am pregnant!!" Theresa Mo announced. She was beaming with a smile and looked at her brother.
Lanre smiled. She asked him to guess and didn't give him a chance to guess. She's happy that she's pregnant.
This is a complete contrast to how she felt when she got pregnant the first time. She was holding hands with Junxie and her excitement cannot be hidden.
" Congratulations sister, honestly I am happy for you" Lanre congratulated Junxie as well. The two men smiled and said nothing else.
" How's Aunt?" Theresa asked. Since Lanre has decided to be living in Li's hospital simply because aunt Lulu was there, she has to keep asking him how their Aunt was feeling.
" She's responding well. In a couple of days, she would come around. You have no idea how happy I feel about this" Lanre declared.
Theresa Mo smiled. When Lanre smiled back, she saw her dad in him, he is like their father though not obvious in appearance.
" I love you brother" Theresa said and hugged him. Lanre held her and said " Glad I don't have to lose you too in this life"
As they left, Theresa advised that he go home and rest properly. The doctors are competent enough to look after their aunt.
After all, he also testified that aunt was responding to treatment. He should go home and Lanre said ok.
The two lovers were now heading to Li's residence. As the lovers sat on the passenger's seat, Junxie Li made Theresa rest her head on his torso and he caressed her hair.
" I already told mum and dad that we are having something quiet because of the incident that happened. If it wasn't for good fortune, you would have either been in Aunt Lulu's condition or gone like Zhou.
We would have something quiet and then have a reception that is nothing different from having dinner with family and friends.
Maybe that's why mum wants to see you. I wish things don't have to be like this, you deserve more my love.
I wanted everyone to know that you are Junxie's woman, Junxie's wife. But we have to consider Zhou and mourn him.
We would send a representative to send our condolences to his wife and other extended family.

If that idiot she gave a job to really did his job well, the news of Theresa's death should be flying in the air.

She walked past his outstretched hands and walked into the arms of another man. Julia felt embarrassed and turned to look back at who Rita went to meet.
She was hugging another man and his hands were on her waist and she held his shoulder, and the fellow kissed her chin.
Julia became so upset that he walked back to meet them and pulled Rita off the ungodly hug.
" Excuse me, who are you?" Davis asked, looking at Julia. He was surprised when the fellow stepped out of his car and was walking towards Rita a while ago.
Julia just ignored the fellow and looked at Rita, his eyes burning with rage " I want us to talk and it's now" he declared.
He had been suffering from what happened between them and she was already going out with someone else.
This was the fellow he had seen sometimes ago. Had they been having affairs since then?
" What is there for us to talk about Julia? You and I have nothing in common with each other anymore. This will be the last time you will embarrass me like you just did a while ago.." Rita bellowed.
She stared at Julia angrily. He dares to pull her off from her friend Davis? Who the hell does he think he is?
" Why are you doing this to me Rita? I am sorry for everything I did to you. But just give me a few minutes of your time and I want to talk to you more.." Julia replied.
" Stay away from me Julia. I don't want to have any discussion with you. Is that too hard for you to understand? As you see I have moved on with my life and I expect you to do the same.." Rita refused.
" Oh baby, this is your ex-husband? The fellow who chases anything in skirts and abandons you to suffer right?
I had thought he was some handsome dude who carries a special aura. But he looks like a hooker, a man prostitute.." Davis was going to continue when Julia gave him a blow on his chin.
Davis got angry and gave Julia a deadly blow in his belly. The two men started exchanging blows and Rita went and held Julia's hands, and that allowed Davis to give him a good blow on his chin and face.
Julia's complexion turned red. That was when Rita knew she was wrong to have held Julia. She started shivering.
Julia spat out blood and the securities came to separate the two men. Julia felt terribly pained.
" Julia!" Rita didn't know when she blurted his name and was going to touch his face when Davis pulled her back to himself.
How would she sympathise with an ex husband before him after they both have a fight. Does she care about him more than him?
Julia's eyes turned red. He glared at Rita for a while and said " you held me for your boyfriend to beat up?
I didn't know you were seeing someone else already. It was a waste of time trying to get things straightened between us.." he said and glared at Davis and then his car and shook his head and turned away to go into his car.
Rita's tears gave way. She watched as Julia got in his car and drove off. Davis stared at her and knew she still loved that fellow.
She has no place for him in her heart. He was simply wasting his time with her. Her heart still beats for her ex-husband.
" Let's go," Davis said, holding her hand and wanting to lead her to his car when Rita snatched her hand off.
"Why did you hit him Davis? Why did you?" Rita yelled at him. She was glaring at him with tears in her eyes with so much displeasure in her eyes.
