"You fucking son of a bitch!" Ximena hissed, barely audible over the savage growls emanating from the cell next to her, "How dare you handle her in that way. You really are the lowest piece of shit in existence, you know that? If Brarthroroz…"
"If he what?" Eromaug laughed, cutting Ximena off mid-sentence, "Even if he was here, what the fuck is he even capable of doing? He didn't find you for almost twenty years did he? What chance does he stand now, hmm?"
"Just you fucking wait you arrogant bastard! When karma catches up with you I'll be waiting with a front row seat and…"
"Don't you ever get tired of spouting the same old lines, Ximena?" He purred, turning his attention to Lexi as he traced a finger down the side of her cheek, reveling in the reaction his little scheme was pulling from her, "I already have what I wanted all those years ago and despite the obstacles that you and her father put in my way, I still succeeded, did I not?"
"You didn't account for us though, did you fucktard?"
Eromaug snarled his displeasure as he locked eyes with the two males that had almost ruined everything.
"I would suggest you be very careful with how you address me, you flea bitten mongrel," Eromaug snarled, his eyes flashing dangerously, "You pose less than zero threat to me so you can stop with the pointless posturing. If I had my way, I would have you strung up and tortured until you beg for me to stop."
"Then fucking do it!" Greyson roared as he slammed his fists against the bars in frustration at the slow smile that spread across Eromaug's face, "Let us out of here and let's see how pathetic you really are."
"Why would I?" Eromaug replied with a bored shrug, lifting Lexi upwards by her hair so that her face was level with his, "Not when I can fuck your so-called mate to within an inch of her life whenever I feel like it, knowing full well that you were stupid enough to mark her. I hear the pain is almost exquisite when your mate lies with another."
Without wasting a second Eromaug gripped Lexi's face with his free hand, holding her steady as he slid his tongue slowly from her chin up across the side of her face and across her cheek, all the while holding eye contact with her enraged mates.
The sobs and whimpers of his Eternal sent shudders of pleasure through him and watching the men who had tainted what was his by rights lose their minds added a delectable sweetness to the whole experience that he hadn't thought was possible.
"Perhaps I'll fuck her right here and let you watch," Eromaug hummed thoughtfully, pushing Lexi forcefully against the wall and pinning her there with his body.
He turned his head, grinning wickedly at the two males throwing themselves against the bars of the cage that held them securely as he allowed his fingers to trail slowly along the length of her neck and down the curves of her body, working their way under her skirt and up her thigh to the place that he so desperately craved between her legs.
"Wait, please…" Lexi whimpered as her hands flew to his forearm, stopping him just short of that sweet spot, her fingers gripping him tightly as he locked eyes with her.
"Why? Do you not want them to see what pathetic excuses for mates they are? That they will never be able to give you what I can? Perhaps I should have them tortured and fuck you while they bleed. What an exciting memory that would be for us. Your screams and moans of ecstasy as I fill every hole mingled with the screams of their agony…".Eromaug smirked, his heart torn between hatred and insatiable lust for the woman before him.
"I just…you've made your point." Lexi whispered, trying and failing to quell the uncontrollable shivers that seemed to have erupted along her body, "I'm sorry. I should have behaved like the Eternal that you deserved…that I was made to be..."
She swallowed nervously as she braced herself for what she was about to say. She knew it would crucify Allen and Greyson, but she had no choice. There was nothing more important than making sure that all three of them were safe and if this was the price she had to pay, then so be it.
"After all," she murmured, reaching for his face, "It was always us. From the beginning to the end, it will always be us. Everything before now was just a foolish mistake. I didn't know any better."
Eromaug blinked slowly as he stared at her intently. Her eyes never wavered as she spoke and her words moved something inside of him, his chest almost swelling with pride with the idea that she had chosen him, without the need for bloodshed. As disappointed as he was at the lack of torture, he also felt as though this was a victory.
As he was swept away in the emotion, he grasped her face between both of his hands, his gaze never leaving hers as he lowered his lips to claim her mouth as his own. He watched in satisfaction as her eyes fluttered closed and he deepened the kiss, grasping at her possessively as a chorus of pained howls erupted behind him.
When he finally broke the kiss he glanced across to the cell that held both males, who clawed wildly at the bars and practically foaming at the mouth to get to him, and he chuckled.
"From tonight, Lexi will reside in my chambers. If you think you've known pain before, then I can assure you, I will make sure it only gets worse for you." He chuckled.
Without wasting another breath, he gripped hold of her wrist and began pulling her away from the grimy cells, not taking any notice of the pained look she threw towards Allen and Greyson, nor the silent tears that flowed down her cheeks as he led her further and further away...
