(A DEAL)
“Welcome to our school sir,It's a pleasure to meet you.”.
The two older women said politely.
Antonio brutally ignored them and strutted over to where Angela was standing, his eyes taking in her form.
"Miss Angela," he said, his voice oozing charm.
Angela's expression was furious and tense.
"Mr Montero I must say, I'm surprised to see you here. Don't I have the right to some privacy anymore?”
“Privacy?”
Antonio laughed, the sound loud and arrogant.
He leaned down to her shoulder.
“I think I understand your embarrassment,this environment stinks with poverty but thanks to me,I am here to save you from abject poverty, as my bride you need a nose mask too,I don't want to get married to a woman with a plague it will ruin my reputation" he whispered.
“That's nothing more embarrassing than being your bride”.
Angela whispered back.
“Mr Montero, I am a huge fan!”
Mrs Samantha drew his attention.
He glared at her, then immediately flashed his nice set of teeth like a golden retriever wagging his tail happily.
“I must apologise to you my lady. I didn't pay attention to you earlier, that was so foolish of me, please pardon me”.
He smiled warmly at her as he took her hand and kissed the back of it “It's nothing really,this is our school founder Mrs Louisiana”.
Mrs Samantha introduced.
He glanced at the older one.
“You too ma'am,my apologies,I must confess you have the most beautiful pair of eyes”.
Mrs Louisiana blushed.
“Thanks,I have heard about you. Unfortunately for me I am not a big fan of movies but Samantha here is a fan of yours..and I am very happy to see you in our school,you are like the first celebrity to visit! I can't contain my joy”.
Antonio was smiling broadly all the time,wanting to end this irritating conversation so bad.
“I am happy to hear that,you two are so sweet and from what I have seen already,you are as beautiful as your hearts”.
“Oh please stop it”.
The women giggled.
Angela rolled her eyes aggressively.
“Wow what a sweet devil as an A list actor, I expected a better performance. Look at him acting all nice and sweet”.
“We are also most definitely surprised to see you, what brings you to our school Mr Montero”.
Antonio grins at Angela and brings out a sparkling diamond ring from his pocket.
“Actually I came to see my fiancée," he saie and took a few steps towards Angela and took her hand.
The two women's mouths drop open in shock.
“Always wear your ring..my precious”.
He put it in her finger and kissed it.
He knew she was probably cursing him from the mischievous look in her eyes.
Angela pulled her hand away from his ,her brows arched.
“We only got engaged a few days ago,I was going to tell you guys,I apologise”.
She explained to the confused women staring curiously at her.
“Oh my goodness! You are the Angela I heard about..what a world!”
Mrs Samantha gasped in astonishment.
“We are happy to hear about your engagement,dearie.”
Mrs Louisiana added.
Angela forced a smile.
The two women left them and went to stand afar, giving them some space.
“Very well,we will be going back home…”
Antonio announced.
“We?”Angela asked,her brow raised in a question arch.
“Did I stutter?”
“I'm afraid I must decline,you can see what's happening here..this is a school and I am a teacher..I can't just leave them”.
“This is a school? How pathetic,I thought it was an orphanage”.
“You have to leave alone Mr Mons…Montero,I am not going anywhere with you, besides your grandmother said you will come visit at my place not here”.
“You want me to visit your home?”
He asked.
“The last thing I will want..but I had to, your poor old grandma is worth taking the risk for”.
Antonio's eyed widened at her utterance then he chuckled.
"My.. my. You're a serious one, aren't you?" he said. "But that's all right. I do enjoy challenges”.
He smirked,his voice lowering to a seductive purr.
“You are not as attractive as you think”.
Angela sneered.
Antonio almost got out of his character, but he recovered quickly, he drew a deep sigh.
"Very well," he said, his voice tight. "I suppose I'll have to settle things all by myself then”.
He smiled and leaned closer to her.
“Distance please”.
Angela muttered,her cheeks heated.
“What’s the problem,are you suddenly turned on by what I said,you are as red as a tomato,looks like you have a thing for men in charge?”
“You are talking nonsense,and you are no man”.
Antonio's eyes darkened for a minute but then he pressed his finger on his forehead, letting out a long sigh.
The switch sent a cold shiver down Angela's spine,for a minute she thought he would separate her neck from her body.
“Ha! You're a tough nut to crack" he said, his tone tinged with frustration.
He turned around and smiled at the two women watching them from afar.
He walked towards them,Angela wondered what’s in his mind.
“A million will take this school to the next level and give each child the best education and fun. If only my precious bride here agrees to follow me home ”.
Angela's eyes widened,her fist clenched.
“He is playing games”.
“Did you say a million dollars?”
Mrs Louisiana whispered as though she lost her voice.
“I think I heard wrong, a million dollars?”
Mrs Samantha contributed.
Antonio smiled broadly at them.
“Consider it my little token for the school donation,only if..”
“You don't have to repeat it,I will go with you”.
Angela cuts in sharply.
“Well….that was fast”.
Antonio smirked at her.
