ZOLA'S P.O.V
His request was simple, and although I didn't owe him a thing, my curiosity was just as intrigued as to why he'd been in my dreams as his was.
I sat in the bay window looking out onto his land. There were miles and miles of trees. His land was exactly what a wolf desired aside from power. Which meant that they were a target for all those grubby rogues. Especially since this was a compound mixed of multiple supernatural species. I hadn't seen many people wandering around, but somehow I just knew there were several living here.
I suppose meeting my father wasn't the highest of priorities right now. I'd gone over twenty years without knowing him. Plus, the only answer he could give me was probably one not worth hearing anyway. Don't get me wrong, I still wanted that answer, but I guess not as badly as I wanted this one. Because here I was, sitting in one of Kiren's huge windows, watching him spare in the distance.
I had already made up my mind the moment I saw his face. I was staying. Germany could wait for another day, another month, or even another year, whatever it took. Getting answers about what connected us was more important to me at this time. Plus, maybe it was exactly what my heart needed to let go of my past.
I wasn't sure what it was I felt while I was near Kiren. All I knew was there was a lurking aura of danger, which made something in my stomach stir. But honestly, I couldn't pinpoint what else it was that fascinated me the most about him. Was it that he was so hard to read? Which reminded me of someone else I knew. Or was it the thrill of being on the edge in his presence? Not really knowing what could happen next.
Either way, we were somehow connected, and we had no idea why. It wasn't like either of us were werewolves, so it wasn't a fated mate kind of deal. It was something else entirely. So what was it?

The sun had long since set and the sky was becoming dark. I knew that it was a matter of time before all the werewolves came out to play. I wondered how many lived here. Hell, I wondered what all lived here. But what I wondered most, was what the hell Kiren was.
I wouldn't call myself uneducated. I was pretty in tune when it came to the other species that lived among us. But I had never felt anything like him before. Was he a hybrid of some sort? It bugged me that I couldn't figure it out.
The rumble of my starved stomach let out a loud roar. I had skipped eating, and my stomach was protesting. I wondered if the kitchen was open at all hours, like it was back at home? Another rumble echoed out as I began to creep down the hallway. I tightly embraced my stomach, hoping and praying that nobody heard.
I followed the same portraits leading to the dinning hall. Once I entered the big ballroom style room, I started searching for where the kitchen might be. The first door I opened was a broom closet. The second door I opened, I regretted it instantly.
I watched while the raven-haired girl was pushed over. Her face smashed into the desk so hard that I knew it would leave an imprint. Her voice was screaming for more, begging like a whore in church to be fucked harder. As much as I wished, I couldn't break my eyes away. Her moans mixed with his effortless grunts were doing unimaginable things to me. Last week, this would have me shying away. But today? Today I wished I were in her place.
How could I even think like that? I didn't know who was fucking her so relentlessly, but damn, I wanted to be fucked just like that.
My mind went back to the pier momentarily, the breathless Elias on top of me, pounding hard into my aching core.
"Stop staring, peach. If you keep it up, I'll assume you want to be fucked too." Kiren's husky, deep voice echoed, sending goose bumps across my body.
It instantly snapped me out of my head. I looked up to see those deep purple eyes looking right at me. A pool of liquid desire gushed into my panties, the wetness flush against my pussy lips. So many impure thoughts flashed through my mind quickly. But his eyes never left mine while he continued to fuck her.
Shit... I was still staring. I was still watching. And I was caught gawking like a damn fool.
"Sorry. I...I was loo... I was looking for the kitchen."
I sounded like a stuttering fool. My heart was racing in my chest and I couldn't get my hormones under control. How did he have this effect on me, and we didn't even know each other? I'd never been attracted to anyone other than Elias in my entire existence. Was I so blinded by him that I never gave another man a chance? Don't get me wrong. I was still very attracted to Elias. I loved and craved him even. But for the first time ever, someone other than Elias was affecting my body. And truth be told, I wasn't sure I was ready for that.
"Why is she still standing there watching us? Clearly, this isn't the damn kitchen." The girl who was bent over the desk had said.
Holy shit I was still staring. What the fuck is wrong with you, Zola?
"Shut!" (THRUST) "Your!" (THRUST) "Mouth!" (THRUST). He replied with a dominating voice. Each thrust harder with each word, as if he was putting emphasis on them.
He looked up at me, making my heart pick up a pace more.
"Leave now, peach. Unless you want to take her place, that is." His voice was gentle, smooth, cool, and collected. Not like it was a moment prior with her.
The girl grunted in protest. However, lucky for all of us, his words clicked in my brain for once. I instantly backed away, grabbing hold of the doorknob, in order to close it. That was when a deep rumbling laugh echoed out with the words 'I'll see you in my dreams, peach.'
Another sinking feeling hit me. My appetite had long since plummeted. All I wanted to do now was crawl back into bed and pretend like none of this had ever happened.
How was I going to face him the next day? Would I be the talk of the compound? I was already embarrassed that I had stared for that long. I didn't need a catchy embarrassing nickname to tag onto me too. But if this place was anything like any other, a nickname would soon arise from this incident. And I wasn't sure I was ready to face that either.
I climbed the steps, rushing back to the room. Zoned out the entire time. Once I reached the room, I swiftly shut the door, releasing a breath I hadn't realized I was holding.
"Did you like what you saw, peach?"
My head yanked to the direction where the voice I wasn't ready to hear spoke. In the darkest corner sat the shadow of Kiren. One leg crossed over the other.
"How did you beat me here?" I asked, confused.
He was still in the middle of fucking that girl. So, how was this possible?
Suddenly, he stood, and my stomach now felt like it was in my throat.
"Who said that I am here?" He asked as he approached.
"What?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he kept walking toward me until he was close enough that I could physically see him. Or I guess I should say an apparition of him. The translucent ghostly figure stood in front of me gawking cockily.
"What the fuck." I whispered, surprised at what I was seeing.
"Are you seriously still downstairs fucking her while simultaneously stalking me in your ghostly-looking form?"
His lip twitched, wanting to smile at my question, but he didn't. He only proceeded to move forward. Stopping right at my side. He then bends down and whispers in my ear.
"I could say the same to you, peach."
And without another word, his apparition disappeared, leaving me shaking to the core. But I wasn't sure if it was shaking due to fright, or if I was shaking because of how his actions made me feel. Why was he coming to my room like this after what just happened? And why did I like the way that it all made me feel?
