Chapter 291

Ch. 291 / 324 Jul 29, 2025

The grey sky shone brightly against the sunset glow. The red sky stretched to the other end of the horizon, and the warm light shone on the quiet campus. Sara's long and slender eyelashes were covered in a layer of golden orange color.

Hearing Hank's words, she blushed and said, "Let go of me. I'm in the school now..."

"No one else." Hank whispered in her ear. "If you don't object, I'll take it as your agreement."

Sara opened her eyes wide. She did not expect that there was such a bandit logic in the world. But before she could refute it, she was grabbed at the back of her head and forced to shut her mouth.

She did not know how dazzling she looked when she stood in the sunset glow.

At that moment, the brutality buried deep in Hank's blood was about to spurt out. He wanted to build a magnificent golden house and hide her in it so that she would never be seen by anyone. Whether it was her smile or her tears, he was the only one who could see them.

He knew it wasn't right, but the more beautiful she was, the more he couldn't control himself from thinking like this. Hank's eyes darkened. It was as if he was viciously torturing the softness of the two moist petals, making her even more charming.

When she finally let Hank go, Sara was already panting heavily. She leaned against the tree trunk and took a deep breath. Her arms were still soft as she rested them on Hank's neck. The jade bracelet on her wrist revealed a clear and bright light.

Hank bent down and lifted her up horizontally. Sara was startled. "Uncle!"

"It's okay. No one will see it." Hank comforted her.

Sara buried herself tightly in his arms to cover her face. "But there is a monitor!!"

Hank didn't stop walking. Holding a person in his arms, he said lazily as if he was strolling in a courtyard, "Call your headmaster later and ask him to delete it."

Sara: "..."

"I'm even more ashamed of myself! I want to ask the principal to help me delete the surveillance video in the morning..."

However, Sara's protest did not work. Hank put her into the car and got on the car himself, saying, "What do you want to eat for dinner?"

"Are we eating outside?"

Hank grunted in agreement.

Sara casually ordered a "food department". After the two of them finished their meal, they returned to the Reminisland and went straight into the study.

Hank didn't care about her at first, but it was almost two o'clock in the middle of the night. She still didn't have the intention to sleep and just lay prone on a piece of paper, writing and drawing.

Hank narrowed his eyes and leaned against the door. "Sara, it's time to sleep."

Sara replied with a "yes" sound, "I know." However, she did not seem to have any intention of moving.

Hank asked and walked up to her. Sara looked up at him and said, "Uncle, you're blocking my light."

Hank didn't move. Instead, he carried her on his shoulder and even wobbled a little.

Sara cried out in alarm and quickly grabbed Hank's sturdy arm. "Wh-what are you doing!"

Hank went straight into the bedroom and threw Sara on the bed. He looked down at her and said, "Honey, if you don't sleep, help uncle to solve his physiological needs."

Sara: "..."

She threw herself into the quilt and said in a muffled voice, "I, I'm asleep!"

She could still vividly remember what happened last time. It was so scary! She didn't want it!

Seeing that she was obedient, Hank lay on the bed and said with a smile, "Don't be in such a hurry. After the preliminary exam, I'll put your thesis in it. Then you'll have more time."

Clump! Clump! Clump! Clump! She finally pulled her little head out of the blanket. She said seriously, "No! This is cheating!"

She didn't seem to be speaking with any sense of justice.

Hank smiled helplessly. "Okay, we won't cheat."

It was only now that Sara was satisfied.

The next day, Sara was soaked in the study all day. She ate her breakfast and dinner in a hurry. Lionel came to her house to play with her. When he saw the books piled up around her, he was shocked and said, "What the fuck! You are really a student of Boundless Study! Do you come out again?"

Sara was surrounded by books. She was sitting in the middle, writing something on the paper. When she heard his voice, she looked up and asked, "What are you doing here?"

Lionel found a place to sit down and said, "I want to play with you. Today is the weekend, and I want to take you to see your sons."

Sara: "... Where did my son come from?"

"Don't you remember?" Sara said, "At the last racing race race, didn't there a bunch of sons kneel down for you? They saved another round today, so I wanted to take you to have some fun."

Sara frowned and said softly, "Racing is really very dangerous. You are still so young. Don't play anymore."

If someone else had said these words to Sara, even if it was his own mother, he would fall out with them, because racing was one of his favorites. But listening to Sara say these words, he rarely did not get angry, but said, "If I don't go on stage this time, those fools are not worthy, just for fun. I just want to take you for a ride. There is a mountain road there which is very interesting, and you can overlook the scenery of the whole mountain."

Sara shook her head and said, "I can't go, I want some theses."

Sara asked in confusion, "Aren't you still in your first year? What kind of thesis are you writing?"

Sara said, "It's a thesis for the competition." She looked around, opened a yellowed ancient book, and said, "Go play by yourself. I don't have time these two days. I'll accompany you next week."

Sara curled his lips and said, "I was going to take you to play. What's the point of me going there if you don't go?" He picked up a book casually and suddenly said, "Last time, you drank too much and said that Hank didn't want you. What does it mean?"

Sara's face turned red. "You know that i drank too much!"

"But you look very sad."

"It's nothing. It's just that I misunderstood." Sara didn't want to tell others that she was jealous. She tried to cover up her embarrassment, "Don't disturb me here. This thesis is really important."

"Oh." Lionel stood up. "Then I'll be leaving."

"That's right."

He took a few steps and suddenly looked back at Sara seriously. "If you are bullied by Leading Cadre Fu, you can tell me that although I can't defeat Leading Cadre now, I am on your side."

Sara was stunned.

She hadn't known this young boy for a long time, but he could say something like this to her.

Sara knew that Lionel looked easygoing, but he had his own way of doing things. He had a lot of evil associates, but he didn't have many true friends. He was not the kind of person who would easily make friends with others.

She couldn't help but laugh and said, "I know, thank you."

Lionel also laughed. "Then you have to remember."

After that, he waved his hand and went out.

Sara rolled her eyes and slowly drew a love mark on the draft paper with the pen in her hand.
