My bouquet is passed to Eeva as we stand on the gazebo, the water lapping slightly in the surprisingly warm early fall weather.
“Today we are here to gather for the joining of Tate and Laina in holy matrimony. If anyone objects, please speak now.” The preacher begins the traditional way to any wedding. No one stands to object most likely too terrified of Tate and how he will punish them if they do, and we continue the ceremony happily.
"A wedding is a joyous event in any love, but a wedding between mates is momentous, and I ask that the Goddess bless them and their family and friends." I smile as my eyes focus on Tate, his own orbs never leaving mine as the preacher continues. Soon the rings are passed to us, and we ready ourselves to state our vows with Tate going first.
"Laina, I knew since the moment I saw you that you were my everything. You make me a better man and gave me a chance to be an amazing father. Even though it’s been three years since we met, I know that I never want to lose you, and I will cherish you and our children for the rest of my life. I love you, baby girl.” Tears of happiness start flowing, and I giggle when he wipes them away while ignoring his own tears to tend to mine. He pulls me close, burying his face into the crook of my neck as he cries. Everyone in the room looks shocked, but I smile warmly, wrapping my arms around my mate and smiling at knowing that he is only this emotional around me. The two of us silently cry in each other’s embrace, ignoring the time ticking down until we regain our composure. With me wiping away his tears and him wiping away mine we laugh at each other before the minister motions for us to continue the ceremony.
"Tate, you are my everything, my best friend, my knight in fluffy fur-" That last part has everyone laughing, including Tate, and my smile widens as I take his hands into mine and continue.
"- You are the father of our daughter and my other half. I won't lie and say that I wasn't terrified when I met you because I was. But as I got to know you, I learned you have a softer side, a side only those who are close to you know. I am happy to know I am the one who gets to wake up to you each morning, to smile and laugh and cry with you. I love you, baby, and nothing will ever separate us." By the end of my vows, we are crying again, but this time I am held against his strong chest. I bury my face into his chest, and he buries his into my hair, inhaling each other’s scent to calm us down and for once I am glad I went with the waterproof eyeliner and mascara that Jack suggested or else my make-up would have been ruined by now.
"Sorry to interrupt Alpha, Luna, but we really should get the ceremony over with sometime today before the rain hits." The preacher whispers, bowing his head respectfully and causing us to laugh. The ceremony continues, and we say our I Do's to each other then finally hear our names pronounced. Tate wastes no time in pulling me close to kiss me passionately. The crowd is cheering, hooting and yelling out things like “Take it to the bedroom” and “You go, Alpha” before we pull away, making me blush and want to hide my face from their view while Tate chuckles and kisses my forehead.
The party is held inside the pack house. We walk into the ballroom as husband and wife smiling when Tate pulls me close to dance to “I Was Made for Loving You” by Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran and just enjoying the moment between the two of us. We rarely leave each other side this night, and the pack members as well as our guests from allying packs are drunk and fast asleep by the time midnight rolls around. Chris and Jack took Julia to their house a while ago, wanting to let Tate and I have the night as a married couple to ourselves without needing to worry about our pup.
Slipping away from the drunken guests, Tate and I head home. As soon as we are safe inside our home, we discard our formal wear piece by piece as we make our way to the bedroom. Finally in bed, I find myself pinned under my husband, his thick cock buried deep inside me as he claims my body as his wife. The sounds of our pants and moans fill the house, continuing into the early morning as rays of light shine through the windows. I find myself held in his embrace, my energy fully spent, with Tate drawing lazy circles on my back.
"I noticed you never had anything to drink other than water, juice, and soda. Care to tell me why?" Tate asks lazily, curiosity in his voice as he plays with my hair.
"What would you say to having another pup in the house?" I ask gently, drawing small circles on his chest and feeling him stiffen slightly.
"Do you mean?" Tate asks with hopeful eyes his voice filled with disbelief.
"That Julia will be a big sister, yes." I finish his sentence with a chuckle, squeaking in surprise as I feel Tate roll us over, kissing me happily before moving to pepper kisses on my still flat stomach.
"This is the best wedding gift ever, baby. I love you Laina Randall-Silvermoon." He whispers, tears glistening in his eyes. I smile and grab his face, pulling him towards me and kissing him lovingly.
"And I love you Tate Randall-Silvermoon." I whisper back with my own tears rolling down my face and into my hair as I stare up at the man I love.
My life is finally my own with the man in front of me as my partner forever. I am no longer the runaway Breeder. Now I am a mother, a wife, and a leader. And I have the perfect mate who has helped me more than I ever thought possible. I am Laina Randall-Silvermoon, the Luna of Bloodsvain.
