The Omega’s Second Chance Mate

199 My Blessing To You All

Ch. 199 / 208 Apr 30, 2026

The warriors were restless. The tension in the air was almost suffocating as they murmured among themselves, attempting to calm their nerves. Some introduce themselves to ease the potential tension between the races. Some paced, their hands gripping tightly around their weapons. The smell of anticipation mingled with the earthy aroma of damp soil, and the occasional crackle of distant lightning only served to heighten the atmosphere.

All conversation ceased as Ethan and Amdis approached. Their presence alone is enough to silence the growing unease as exuded confidence. They stepped onto the raised platform, the wooden stage that had long been used for pack announcements, challenges, and declarations of war.

Ethan's gaze swept over the assembled ranks. Lycans stood side by side with werewolves. Some in their beast forms while others stood with their weapons of choice. Werecats crouched, their muscles taut, ready to pounce at the first command. Vampires loomed in the shadows, their silent presence both eerie and powerful. Among them, fae warriors shimmered with ethereal light, while witches stood at the edges, their fingers already weaving protective spells in the air. This was not just a gathering of species, it was a coalition forged by necessity, bound by a shared enemy.

Ethan looked to Amdis but Amdis relented to Ethan as Ethan had put all of this in motion. Ethan inhaled deeply, allowing the weight of the moment to settle over him before speaking.

"The Hunters have taken from us," he began. "They have stolen our kin, desecrated our sacred lands, and made us believe we are less than them. They have tortured, experimented, and turned our pain into their power. But no more."

A low growl rippled through the crowd, spreading like wildfire.

"Tonight, we stand together- not as separate packs, not as scattered clans, but as one unstoppable force. We fight for those who cannot. We fight for those that we have lost. We fight for justice, not blind vengeance. We fight because if we do not, they will keep coming until nothing remains of our people."

Murmurs turned into agreement, then into roars of defiance. The ground trembled with the force of their collective rage.

Amdis stepped forward. His voice, sharp and commanding, sliced through the air.

"Let them hear our battle cries in the wind. Let them feel the ground shake beneath their feet. Let us show them what they truly feared if they walked into the darkness. Let them understand, once and for all, that they have provoked the wrath of creatures who will no longer cower in the shadows. This is our land, our people, and we will bathe in the blood of our enemies!"

The warriors erupted into a chorus of howls, roars, and battle cries. Weapons were drawn, claws extended, and magic crackled in the air like a brewing storm.

A shimmer of blue light flickered, cascading in rippling waves as Queen Eliane materialized before them. The wind played with the hem of her sapphire cloak, her silver-blue eyes glowing with knowledge beyond mortal years.

"Beautifully done," Queen Eliane said, her voice carrying effortlessly over the crowd. "The time has come. Alpha Queen Kasia has provided a distraction within the Hunters' compound. Now is the time to strike."

At her signal, fae mages stepped forward, their voices blending into a mesmerizing chant. The air shimmered, an iridescent wave of power washing over the assembled fighters. A warm, tingling sensation spread through their bodies as the spell settled into their very bones.

"My blessing to you all. Silver and iron will not harm you- for a short time," Queen Eliane cautioned, her gaze sweeping over them with quiet intensity. "Use this wisely."

As if answering her words, portals began to open around them, swirling vortexes of energy leading to the battlefield beyond. Ethan met Amdis's gaze before giving a single, resolute nod. Without hesitation, the forces surged forward, vanishing into the portals.

The moment they arrived, they were thrust into chaos. The storm above raged, thick black clouds rolling over the sky like a living beast. Lightning slashed across the heavens, illuminating the battlefield in brief, blinding flashes. The scent of burning wood and blood filled the air. The Hunters' compound lay in ruins, its once-imposing walls crumbling as prisoners turned on their captors with unrelenting fury.

At the heart of the carnage was Kasia.

Her massive wolf form, fur the color of blood and flame, moved like a force of nature. She tore through the Hunters, her fangs snapping bones, her claws leaving deep fatal gashes. The storm itself seemed to mirror her rage, growing wilder with each passing second.

Ethan knew it was her as soon as she saw her. She was indeed a blessed blood but how did she have a wolf form?

Ethan barely had a moment to take it in before the Hunters turned their attention to them. Bullets whizzed through the air, but the silver rounds, once would be a death sentence, now did little more than sting. With a snarl, Ethan let his lycan form take over, his body expanding, muscles coiling with raw power. His deafening howl sent his warriors charging forward.

Above them, Queen Eliane lifted her arms, her expression unreadable as she began to chant. The very earth responded to her call. The ground split open, glowing vines lashing out like living tendrils, wrapping around Hunters and dragging them into the depths. Screams filled the night as the fae worked swiftly, opening more portals to evacuate the remaining prisoners.

Amdis and his vampires moved like a shadowed storm, their strikes deadly, their presence a blur of crimson and darkness. They danced between enemies, cutting them down before they had a chance to react.

The Hunters, realizing their disadvantage, began to retreat, their panicked cries echoing through the shattered compound. A handful of them fled towards the inner sanctum, slamming reinforced doors shut behind them.

"Like that will save you," Ethan growled, slamming into the door. It shuddered under his strength but held firm. They were running out of time.

A soft chuckle came from behind him.

"Allow me," Queen Eliane stated. Her once-pristine gown was now streaked with red, yet she still looked regal. Lifting a hand, she whispered something in a forgotten tongue. The heavy doors began to groan and bend inward before being flung from their hinges with a flick of her wrist.

Ethan didn't hesitate.

"I'll take a small group with me to retrieve any remaining prisoners. The rest of you- secure the area and tend to the wounded," he ordered and turned to Amdis, who was ready to follow him with a few of his warriors.

With one final glance at the battlefield, Ethan stepped forward, leading the way.
