Caliana's POV
"Who are you and what are you doing in my house at this late hour?" I all but growled at the woman, she took a step back with fear and the Alpha looked at me too, but he had the tiniest smile that I could have missed. The woman's eyes settled on Alpha Edward and I stood in front of him, blocking her view of him.
"I'm the one who asked you a question,"
"Well... Well," She stuttered, unsure of herself now and all the confidence has left her but she inhales deeply and smiles at me, it only makes me frown.
"I'm a present for the Alpha!" She said in an excited voice.
"A present?" Alpha and I asked in unison.
"From who and what do you mean you're a present?"
"From Miss Candace until she's here!" The slut sensually touched her big boobs and shook her shoulders, all color drained from my husband's face and if I wasn't pissed, I would chortle at him. I closed my eyes and opened them, I put my palms on the Alpha's chest, and tingles rushed through. I shook my shoulders the way she did and spoke in a peachy voice
"Enjoy your present, Alpha!" My wolf, Liana, burst into a fit of laughter and the Alpha grabbed my hand, asking me not to leave him with the woman silently. I bit him hard and he hissed, letting go of my hand. I calmly walked upstairs, I didn't cry or anything of a sort, I guess I was just... Numb.
I woke up the next morning and showered thoroughly. I wanted to dress up a little. I wore a cream-white dress that is just above my knees that had a neckline just long enough to tease. I put my hair in a high bun to expose my unmarked neck before wearing my heels and going downstairs.
'What's with the heels?' Liana asked.
'I just want to look sexy for work,'
'Hmm,' She mused. I found Love waiting for me, she held my hand and we went to the dining room where they were all waiting for us. I sat down on the right hand of my mate and Love took the chair in front of me.
Garret whistled " Ready to break some necks today?"
"No, she isn't Uncle Gar, she looks so pretty!" Love beamed, looking at me
" Thank you, babe,"
"I didn't mean literally, I meant ... Forget it, Kid," Garret gave up.
"What does literally mean?"
He exhales as he starts to explain the word to her.
The Alpha was looking at me with a lustful gaze but I ignored him and ate my food and like the stupid domineering man he was, he approached me, telling me that I can't wear my outfit because men will stare at me! Of course, I didn't agree to change so he locked me in his office.
"I have work too," I growled at him.
"I won't let you go out dressed like that," He retorted, not taking his eyes off his laptop.
"Why? Because I look too sexy?" I smirked, he lifted his eyes and trailed my body.
"You'll confuse the men and women will be envious, what if they try to harm you,"
"I was going to the office!"
"Good, I asked your assistance to bring you all you need here," He smirked, I gasped and threw myself on the sofa, glaring at him with my might but he didn't budge. While we waited for my assistant, he spoke
"I didn't sleep with her," His voice was soft. I knew that he didn't, he kicked her out immediately after I left them.
"I don't care," I said quietly and he nodded. Merabi walked in after a knock and handed me my laptop and the files we were working on today.
She stuck around but I saw how nervous she was so I asked her to go to our office and she was only happy to do so.
I worked in the Alpha's office the whole day, they even set up a nice area for me. The office was enormous and made of glass.
'I need an office like this,' I thought to myself as I looked down at the amazing view. We were on the top floor.
"Um, Alpha, I'm done... I'll go now," I told him.
"Don't leave, I want you to review this for me," He handed me a file. I sighed and took it, going back to my mini lovely space in his office. I made changes to it where necessary and I finished, he kept asking me to do simple tasks just so that I don't leave. gods!
By the time we left the office, it was past seven and we were the only people there. We found Ron in the parking spot and the Alpha rode with us as he was ' lazy to drive'
"Can we stop somewhere, I need hot cocoa," I told Ron, and he stopped at a place where we get the best cocoa. He got two but the Alpha refused so I drank it. We soon reached home.
"Thank you for your help today,"
"You're Welcome, Alpha," I chirped, mocking that slut's voice who came as a present last night, Edward chuckled
"Stop," He was repressing his laughter and it felt good being like this with him.
"Good night," I mimicked her voice again and stuck out my breast.
He smiled at me genuinely and whispered " Good night, Meyers,"
I sighed when I reached the room, I didn't even realize I was smiling until I saw my reflection in the mirror. I took off my clothes and prepared a bubble bath, I closed my eyes and relaxed.
