SAVANNAH

I expected to see this day but didn’t expect to feel melancholy. Carter was packing his stuff in a big blue box, like someone who got fired from his job. But his expression was too joyful for someone leaving his post. I was happy for him at the same time.

We’d worked together for a couple of years now, and we were so productive. Seeing him step down as CMO would drastically change the office and the entire management. Well, he was following his dreams. He was leaving the entertainment world for a new career journey. He had finally built the perfumery company that he had wanted all along.

As for me, I would be the new CMO and Rafe’s partner in life. Yep, that was the proper name for it.

“Take care of my office, will you?” Carter said as he transferred his pile of old binders to a box. “You know what to do with these?”

“Yes, when I needed ideas from our previous work. Visit us, okay?”

He chuckled. “Come on, Savi. We’ve been practically a family since you married my brother. If you need my help, I’m one call away.”

I shrugged. “I don’t know if I can do this. Being a boss is a big deal.”

He sighed and then put down the box. “I recommended you for this job because I know you can do it. Wesley is here to help you, too.”

“It’s just that… I got this job because I’m Rafe’s wife. Wesley’s better than me, and—”

“Hold on.” He held up a finger, stopping me. “Rafe won’t sign the transition papers just because I said so or because you’re his wife. Don’t you trust me?”

He was right. Rafe was too practical when it came to our jobs. “I trust you.”

“See? Come on, Savi. You’re a Sebastian now. You belong here.”

That made me smile. “We’re going to miss you here.”

He patted my shoulder. “I’ll see you at the family dinners. How’s my nephew doing?” He glanced at my belly, smiling. I was going seven months this week.

I rubbed my baby bump, chuckling. “It’s actually… a niece.”

Carter’s eyes squinted. “What? I wanted to teach him sports!”

“Hey, I haven’t told the family about her gender. Maybe this weekend at the family dinner.”

He nodded. “Mom will be thrilled. Girls are finally dominating our household.”

“Yeah, Anya told me.” I laughed. Julian’s wife and I were texting these days about my pregnancy. I got a lot of tips from her as she had already given birth to a daughter. “Anyway, good luck with your new career and your tennis game with Michael this afternoon. I didn’t expect that you two would get along. He can be unapproachable at times. He’s just being polite most of the time.” Carter had a playful and relaxed personality, the polar opposite of Michael.

I wondered if this younger Sebastian had any plans of getting serious in a relationship.

He scratched his head. “He’s pretty relentless, isn’t he? Michael. It’s hard to win against him on the court. I’m challenged.”

“Well, that’s the man who raised me,” I said proudly.

He grinned. “Thank you, Savannah. You made this family whole. Again.”

“You’re very much welcome. But it’s not just me. Your brother made this possible. I barely even helped.”

“Rafe changed a lot after he met you. He’s like... He’s come back to life. He was very distant and a workaholic. I didn’t imagine this day would come.”

I couldn’t help a smile. “You’re giving me too much credit. Anyway, that’s the plan. I’ll be here for him every day whenever he needs me.”

“You guys are awesome together.”

A knock suddenly echoed throughout the room, and then Wesley came in. “Everything ready? The mover is here.”

“We’re just finishing up,” I said. Carter went on with clearing up his desk. Beginning tomorrow, I will be using his desk and this office.

Wes walked inside, raising an eyebrow at my belly. “Is it just me, or did your baby bump get bigger?”

“Wes, you just saw me this morning,” I said, shaking my head. “What now?”

“You have a phone call. I was there, so I answered it.”

“Yeah? Who was it?”

“Sofia. She can’t reach your phone.”

I bit my bottom lip guiltily. “I’m sorry, I forgot it at home. I grabbed Rafe’s cell by mistake this morning, and he didn’t notice I left mine.”

He flashed a wide grin, resting his hands on his waist. “Again?”

“Clumsy as you always are,” Carter remarks, laughing. “No wonder you rocked Rafe’s world.”

I laughed. “So, I’ve been told.” I cleared my throat. “What did Sofia say?”

“That she’ll be coming here at lunchtime,” Wes said.

“Oh, I remember. It’s about PeekFlix. I asked to meet the other day. I forgot it was today. Thanks, Wes. I’ll call her back.”

“Any other occasion?” Wes asked.

I frowned. “Why?”

“Riley’s coming too. She closed the restaurant early. She rarely does that.”

I shook my head. “Nothing that I can think of. Really?”

“Now, now.” Carter suddenly stopped and folded his arms across his chest. “Isn’t this family getting bigger?”

Our attention shifted to him. “Why? Do you know something?”

“Ask Michael.” Carter winked. “He probably knows.”

“What the hell does that mean?” Wes frowned, confused. “What does Michael have to do with Riley?”

Carter raised his hands in surrender. “That’s your hint. I’m not saying anything else.”

I burst out a laugh and then caught my mouth with my palm. “Seriously?”

Wes rubbed his chin. “What’s going on?”

“Well, that’s one hell of a happy ending!”

For everyone…

RAFAEL

“Spread your legs. I need to fill your cunt with my cum.”

My wife did as instructed, leaning back against the mattress while watching me with her heavy-lidded eyes as I repositioned myself between her legs. Gripping her hands on my thighs, she braced herself for my rough entry.

I wouldn’t disappoint her. Not today. Not tomorrow. I slammed home inside her as though I wanted to weld us together permanently. She gasped and bounced as I made love to her. When she grabbed my ass, I knew she was ready for a wild ride.

“Please, please…” she growled but still didn’t stop my relentless assault.

“Please, what, baby?”

“I’m close...” she whispered.

I continued pounding my cock into her roughly.

“Yes, yes!”

She managed a gasp when she finally squirted around me. She was so fucking wet. But I continued my pace. Finally, I was coming myself. The orgasm began at the center of my spine like an electrical tingling, and then it spread over me, making me groan hard.

She writhed against me as she moaned, unable to speak straight words, but I knew damn well they were good things. They were always the good things. She was incredible.

We finished at the same time. I would have been happy to keep my cock inside her, but I wanted to see my cum dripping from her.

I watched closely. “Come sit. This is what you always want to see,” I told her. My voice clipped with arousal.

We both watched, fascinated, as my shaft freed her pussy. She tilted her pelvis so we could see her opening. Her hole looked so deep pink and overflowing with both our juices.

“There, there.” I grabbed a napkin from the nightstand and wiped the puffy, coated lips.

She bit her bottom lip. “Naughty. Is this because of the recent trip in which you hadn’t had sex? It was only for three days.”

“Four days, including the hours of flight. And yes, the lack of sex included, but it’s because you kept sending me your pictures.”

“What pictures?” She frowned, stepping out of bed to grab a night robe. “They aren’t even nude.” She gasped. “Please, don’t tell me that you—”

“Oh, don’t give me that obviously fake look.” I picked up my boxers and shirt and put them back on.

She laughed. “I’m just kidding. I know you wouldn’t.” She walked toward me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

“It’s not a good joke.” I rolled my eyes. “Anyway, they aren’t nude, but almost. You’re good at provoking me.”

“It was a good day at the beach. Anya and little Julie are with us, of course. I’ve missed you. I wished you were there with us.”

“I’ve missed you, too. How about—” I clasped my arm around her waist, lifting her, “—a round two?”

There was suddenly a creaking sound coming from the door. Small feet stepped inside. My three-year-old came in, scratching her eyes.

“Mommy? Daddy?” she cried.

“Or not,” Savi said, grinning mischievously. “There’s our little girl.”

“Hey, missy. Why aren’t you sleeping?” I put her mommy down, so I could go to her and carry her in my arms.

“I had a bad dream,” our little Kelly sobbed, pouting.

“Oh, honey. What is your dream all about? Dreams aren’t real.” Savi held her daughter’s small hand and brought it to her face to kiss.

“I got lost in the woods while chasing the rabbit... and... and... you can’t find me... and then there are ugly plants... and giants...”

God, she was adorable. She looked exactly like her mother, and she had my eyes. Her mother probably read her Alice and Wonderland until she fell asleep.

“We’re going to find you, of course,” I convinced her. “Whenever you dream something like this, always think that mommy and daddy are with you. Let’s get you back to sleep, okay?”

Kelly sniffled. “But I want to sleep here. I’m so scared.”

I stared at my wife.

She giggled. “Now, you’re giving me that look.”

“Of course, you can sleep here,” I said, sighing. I handed Kelly to Savannah to pull off the sheets and quickly change them.

Shortly after, I watched my family tuck themselves into bed.

“Daddy!” She raised both her arms. “Read me a book with Mommy, please? Pwetty, please?”

I chuckled, shaking my head. It was one o’clock in the morning.

I crept back to the bed to join them, moving to the other side so Kelly was in the middle.

“What would you like to read? Certainly not Alice in Wonderland,” I said.

“How about Sleeping Beauty?” Savannah suggested. “She looks as beautiful as you.”

Kelly giggled.

“Then she’ll be dreaming of dragons and curses. How about Pinocchio? We didn’t finish it this week... and I think I still have the book here,” I offered.

“Yes, please! Read it to me, please!” She kicked her feet in excitement as she cackled.

I grabbed the book from the nightstand and opened the page where we had left off. “I will read it first...”

“Hey.” I leaned close to my beautiful wife and whispered, “What do you think about making baby number two? How about a son?”

Her eyes widened. “Hey! Your daughter will hear you!” she hisses.

“She won’t know that.” I chuckled and moved closer. “Let’s wait until she falls asleep. Bathroom’s available. Or maybe the balcony... Your choice.”

She patted my arm, incredulous. “We’ve got a lot of time.”

“This time is the best time.”

She laughed. “You’re not letting me get away with this, are you?”

“You know me well.”

“Mommy? Daddy? Why aren’t you reading for me?” Our dear Kelly interrupted, looking back and forth between her parents. God, she always made my heart melt.

“Alright, sweetheart... Once there was a carpenter...” Savannah started reading.

Well, this was how my life should be.

Perfect.
