Next day, Anna was coming out of the shopping mall, John was carrying all the shopping bags, his hands were fully occupied, he was having too much difficulties in moving, yet he wasn't complaining, even he was enjoying this as only he knew how much efforts he applied to make her come with him for their marriage shopping. His phone rang, and he was helpless, trying to figure out how he would receive his call when his hands weren't free.
He was still confused, while Anna picked his phone from his pant and received the call on speaker.
“ Sir, Mr D'suza is going to meet the Mafia King, King had already arrived at the meeting point with his guards. ”
All the shopping bags fell down from his hands, both Anna and John glanced at each other with frightened eyes, however Anna's eyes were filled with fear and worries while John's eyes were filled with fear and coldness.
“ Where are they going to meet ? ”
Both Anna and John asked in unison, while the man on the other side who reported them the news started hesitating. Anna yelled
“ For God Sake, tell me quickly, where are they meeting ? ”
She was so much worried and afraid, she didn't ask this man who he was and why did he call John to report this news, she was only interested in knowing about her father.
“ Ah.. the meeting is fixed in Mr D'Suza's private restaurant ” the man reported while Anna hung up the phone and looked at John, saying “ John, hurry up, we need to go there as soon as possible, we have to save Dad, hurry up ”.
John, who was wiping his sweat with his handkerchief, immediately opened the front door for her and he himself sat on driver's seat, started his car and drove the car as fast as he could.
All her way, she was too much worried and was continuously praying for her Dad, while John was silent, he was driving the car much faster than usual, his forehead was wrinkled, and he was deeply busy in thinking something.
As soon as the car stopped in front of Mr D'Suza's private restaurant, Anna kicked open the door and came out, then rushed towards the door.
“ Anna, wait, I'm coming ” John screamed from behind while taking out the keys from the car. Anna didn't bother herself with him and kept going, however she was shocked after opening the main door of restaurant.
There was nothing but smoke, whole restaurant was on fire, her gaze fell on a man who was not a stranger to her, he was standing elegantly in his black suit, holding his cigarette in his left hand and his beloved rifle in his right, pointing at someone. For few seconds, Anna was paused at her position, looking only at the man, it had been a month, but it seemed like she was seeing him after decades, her heart ached as all the memories started roaming in her mind, and all the memories were making her recall the sweet moments they had spent together, her heart didn't stop beating faster in her chest, it was so reckless that it wanted to jump out from her chest and hugged that man who was actually her enemy.
However, it happened only for few seconds as her gaze fell to his rifle, her eyes opened up widely, making her come back to the present situation.
“ Dad.. ” she mumbled as she looked here and there, but then her heart stopped beating for few seconds when she looked in the direction of King's gun.
“ Dad........ ” She yelled as she saw her father lying on the floor in the pool of his blood.
Her voice grabbed the attention of everyone, including King. He heard the familiar voice coming from the direction of door, he didn't take time to realize whose voice it was, he could tell from a very distant whose voice it was, but the thing that shocked her to the point of frozen was the word that echoed “ DAD ”.
He didn't turn towards her, but his hands already started shaking, he didn't dare to turn back, he was only hoping that he might hear wrong, he was hoping that the person behind him is not her or the person whom he killed just now not to be her father.
He was still standing at his position while Anna rushed to her father, crying loudly, she was now before King's eyes, breaking all his hopes. He was surprised, shocked, saddened, guilty. He had now mixed feeling, sometimes he was looking at Anna, sometimes at his shaking hand that was holding gun.
Anna hugged her father, checked his pulse rate, but it was too late now, he was already dead. She cried, she cried loudly, she didn't have expected that after loosing her brother, she would soon loose her Dad. Everything was gone, now she has nothing, she then wiped her tears and stood up, glaring at King with red eyes.
“ I'm regretting now, I'm regretting that why didn't I kill you, why didn't I kill you with my own hands, if I had killed you earlier, my Dad would not have die, You are a monster, you are devil, you will not die peacefully, I curse you, I curse you to taste much worst end to your life, I curse you to suffer in all your life, what had he done to you? Why did you kill my father, ah.. Why leaving me now? Now, kill me too, I don't want to live, kill me, Kill me now ”
She yelled and started crying, she was not in her state of mind, there was two thoughts running in her mind, either kill King or kill herself.
King's gun fell down from his hand, he didn't have expected that he would see her again, and in this kind of situation, earlier he was feeling heartbroken because of her, but now, he was more than shocked. He didn't expect that the person he was going to kill was actually her father. He had mixed feeling now, being angry at her or feel pity for her, however Peter made it easier for him.
“ King, let's go back, don't forget that she tried to kill you, she must be working for him, don't feel bad for her, she doesn't deserve it, let's go before it becomes worse. Let's go ”
Peter said as he dragged him out, while Anna kept weeping while hugging her father's dead body. Soon, the fire became worst and pillars started falling down. But Anna was still lying there with her Dad, she wasn't in mood to save herself, she wanted to kill herself too, with her father, but soon John entered with two fire extinguisher men and dragged her out of the building while she was unconsciously mumbling “ King, I will not forgive you, I hate you King ”
“ She is fine, can we leave now ? ” Peter asked with unhappiness, as he didn't like that King was still worried for the girl who tried to kill him.
“ Hmm.. ” King replied while leaning on the seat and Peter started the car, soon they were out of the city.
