"Thanks so much, Ace" Adia said gratefully as Ace dropped her off at Cora's place as she had insisted.
"Anytime sister-in-law" Ace grinned as Adia smiled at him, she was really grateful for his kindness towards her unlike someone else.
"Umm, by any chance are you Sebastian's brother?" Adia asked curiously as Ace had called her sister-in-law earlier, she didn't know anything about Sebastian or his family except the fact that he's rich, cold, and aloof.
Adia didn't mean to pry though as it was a marriage of convenience and she didn't have any right to know but she couldn't help her curiosity.
"Yes, Sebastian is my elder brother also with Arion, don't worry you'll meet Arion soon" Ace added as he noticed Adia would already be wondering who Arion who.
"Bro.. there wait brothers" Adia choked not able to couldn't believe Sebastian grew up with boys, she had to do more digging about the man she was married to and the best person to help her was Cora.
Adia was pretty sure that Sebastian was influential given the fact that he knows of Evans Montenero.
He must really hold an important position then.
"Yea brothers" Ace confirmed again his smile never wearing off.

"Well, it's unbelievable though but sorry to ask umm, how old is he? No offense though" Adia inquired, she needed to know they were married now and it wouldn't be an offense to know his real age.
"Sebastian is Thirty besides his thirtieth birthday is coming up, it would be nice if you help with the celebration, don't you think"
Ace suggested but he was playing with fire and dragging Adia with him.
Sebastian has never celebrated his birthday since Aisling death to date, given that was the day Aisling passed on and Sebastian has not been able to get passed that day.

BRITARIS...HUNTERSVILLE PROVINCE 1996 JULY 27TH...
" Come on Ace, we have no time, Seb would be here any minute" a beautiful black haired with hazel eyes called out happily as she wrapped the last gift bag.
"Just a second Aisling, be done in a jiffy" Ace responded from Inside as Aisling continued working on the other gift bags.
"Well look who we have here"
"Brother, I never thought you would come," Aisling said happily as she hurriedly hugged the man that just come in.
"I quickly wrapped up my work at the province, you know how sneaky the old man Callahan can be, so where's the birthday boy?" Rowan inquired as his eyes scanned the room.
"I had Arion and Owen distract him, he can't know I'm planning a surprise birthday party for him"
"So what can I help with?" Rowan volunteered but it seemed as if Aisling already had everything under control.
"Nothing just make sure everything is in order, I'll be leaving for the Monteneros later, I asked Kate to help me pick up some stuff at the waltz.
"What are you gonna do there?" Rowan asked suspiciously as the wartz was not a good or pleasant place to be.
"I wanted to grab the soul diamond there and carve a ring for Seb"

"Thanks, brother" Aisling exclaimed happily as she rushed Rowan with a bear hug.

"Oh my childish Ace, how would I ever forget you" Aisling said as she hugged him too, if only he knew that would be the last time they would ever see her.
"Bye..make sure everything is in place" Aisling ordered as she leaped away.

The rain drizzled on the lonely streets of the Huntersville province, Sebastian stood at the window waiting for his beloved, he was told she went to get something for his birthday, now it was already noon but Aisling was nowhere to be found the birthday surprise has been ruined, he didn't care about a stupid birthday he just wanted Aisling back.
He would have stormed off to find her but he had been held back by the others telling him to have a little patience but that patience was already wearing off.
"Send a message to the Monteneros and enquire if Aisling is there maybe she stopped by because of the rain" he ordered but he knew he was lying to himself Aisling wasn't someone who would stop by because of a stupid rain something was off.

"Sire words just came in about Miss Aisling's whereabouts" A servant reported as Sebastian sprang to his feet alongside Rowan who hoped nothing had happened to his little sister.
"Spill" Sebastian ordered in a menacing tone that sent cold shivers down the guard's spine.
"Miss Montenero was found severely injured at the coast of Wartz and Miss Callahan... is she..." The guard stuttered at the thought of losing his tongue if he ever said the last words, as Everyone knew how the Lord loved the lady and how he wouldn't digest the information lightly.
"Just spill it you fool" Rowan growled at him as the guard shivered,' who put me in this mess' he thought as he tried to speak but fear always stopped him.
How was he expected to answer this he was currently facing two angry lords one a lover and the other a brother.
He was gonna lose his head today.
Miss Aisling was not only an important figure in Huntersville but also in Callahan province, in fact everyone loved her,she was kind in nature, peaceful and all.
The guard fiddled with his sword nervously looking for how to break the news of the death of the precious lady to these angry Lords.
He would definitely not survive this.
