My Powerful CEO Husband

Chapter 625

Ch. 625 / 753 Jan 28, 2026

He staggered out of the river bank of the sacrificial chamber.

It seemed that an invisible hand was holding his neck tightly, making him breathless.

The pressure that made him suffocate!

The river bank did not know why it had such a strange feeling: It seemed that the punishment was not for the woman and the evil seed of Samuel, but for himself.

He had suppressed his grievances for so many years, so he should be relieved and happy at this moment. But the Henry Bank felt that his mood was even heavier. What happened to him?

The Henry instinctively wanted to reach out their hands to grab something to steady their bodies. But they stumbled and fell to one side.

"Foster father..."

Xavier quickly came up and used his arms to pick up the River Station, which was crumbling. "Adoptive father, what's wrong with you?"

Xavier clearly felt that foster father Henry's body was trembling. The palm of Henry's hand was already sweaty.

The Henry stabilized his body and waved his hand at Xavier.

"I'm fine... Where's 15?"

The river storage was in urgent need of an object that could comfort his trembling soul.

"The eighth is with him!"

Xavier found out more and more: An elder foster father in Henry was more and more dependent on Xan.

Xavier was left behind to guard Alex and the sacrifices' room. Meanwhile, Xavier helped Xan to the children's room in the river storage.

In front of the children's room, the River Soldiers pushed Xavier, who was supporting him, open the door. After adjusting his breathing a little, the Henry pushed the door open and went in.

In these past few days, Xavier had the chance to spend time alone with Xan. In merely a couple days, it seemed as if he had a deep brotherhood relationship with all kinds of people.

At the moment when the river bank pushed the door open and entered, Xavier immediately jumped up from the children's boat. He knew that his adopted father didn't like others to be too close to his spoiled fifteen.

"Xan... Xan?"

The river bank called twice in a low voice. It didn't get any response from the little fellow and didn't get angry. Instead, it leaned over and pecked the little fellow on the cheek.

"You little thing, why do you sleep like a little pig?"

As he spoke, the river bank kicked off the military boots on its feet and moved into the tadpole. The children's bed wasn't large, so the river bank could only lean to one side. However, it seemed like tonight, he was determined to sleep with the little fella in the children's room.

Xavier just wanted to say something, but he was dragged out of the children's room by Xavier.

"Twelfth brother, what happened to foster father?" Xavier felt that tonight's foster father's river house was extremely strange.

"I don't know! Let the fifteen to accompany foster father tonight." Xavier also had a lot of things on his mind.

"Has Alex been punished by foster father?" Xavier asked again.

"Not yet... but Alex's injuries aren't light. Whether or not he can survive tonight will depend on his own luck."

At that time, Xavier was standing guard outside the entrance of the room. He didn't participate, but he knew everything that happened inside.

"Xan... It seems that I know that his father is in Pete Fort." Xavier reminded Xavier in an ambiguous way.

"Mm...and that's why my adoptive father ordered us to set up another trap: Let fifteen think that his own father had been rescued from the castle by someone else. As long as Alex dies outside of the castle, then we'll be able to get rid of all ties!"

After a while, Xavier sighed and said, "My adoptive father really did a great job for the 15th day!"

After a slight pause, Xavier added, "But I feel that even if Alex died outside of Payt Castle, he would still cause trouble with foster father."

"Since you know the seriousness of the situation, why don't you let Alex see you on the 15th?"

Xavier replied with a question.

"It's... it's the 15th that found his own father." Xavier's words were somewhat flickering.

"Do you know if you're treating me like a good old man in front of the fifteen?... you should be aware of that!"

Xavier, after saying these words, left in a flash.

Xavier stayed where he was silently, thinking about something for a long time.

F*ck*ng pervert!

When the fifteenth day had come to his senses, the outside world was already filled with the light of the sun. In the air above Castle Pete, there was a clear sky that stretched for ten thousand kilometers.

The little girl was circled in his arms and did not feel comfortable.

Raising his head and looking around, he saw the river where his adopted father was in the middle of the circle.

The river pond's robust body could only lean to the side, most of its back exposed outside, but completely wrapped around the little fella in its arms.

"Indulge father?" the little fellow murmured, with the childish laziness of waking up.

"Yeah." Henry instinctively tightened his arm. "You woke up so early? Go to sleep for a while."

The little fellow pursed her lips as if she wanted to say something, but she seemed to have summoned up her courage.

"Adoptive father, can you let that bastard, Alex off? Expulsion him from the castle...then the fifteen days after that, they'll stay in the castle and accompany your adoptive father the entire time."

There was an inexplicable sense of tragicness in the little fellow's tone. For her father Alex, he could even lose the freedom he had always wanted.

"Alex treated you and your mother so cruelly. Why do you still forgive him? Is it because he is your real father?"

The river station didn't admit it, nor did it deny that Alex was inside of Patet Castle. Instead, it asked the little fella from a different angle.

"Mommy and I didn't forgive him! But Alex is not the enemy of fifteen and mommy..."

"Then who are you and your mommy's enemies? Are you your adoptive father?"

Henry angrily interrupted Xan's words.

The little fellow pursed her little mouth and no longer said a word. She just looked at the river bank with pleading eyes. Mommy had said that when foster father was angry, he should not go against him, but follow him. Otherwise, it would only attract more punches.

The little fellow was not afraid of being beaten by the river, but he was afraid that his adoptive father would vent his anger on his own father, Alex, because of this. Just as what the eighth brother said, his adoptive father would tear the bastard's adoptive father into pieces when he was furious.

After a night, the anger in the Henry seemed to accumulate again. The depression of last night was gone, and his fierce and violent nature was restored.

The river bank stared at Xan, who also looked back at the river bank. An old man and a young one seemed to be fighting with each other in silence.

What annoyed the river bank was not only the words that Xan pleaded for his bastard father, but also the way he looked at the river bank at this moment.

It was no longer pure and innocent, but a little of his own thoughts.

There were wisps of rebel, as well as a faint trace of anger and hatred.

He raised a child all by himself, so how could he be so arrogant and hostile towards his adopted father for the sake of their common enemy?

"Eighth brother!"

Henry gave a loud roar.

"Foster Father!" Xavier, who was guarding outside the door, immediately pushed the door open and entered.

"Watch the 15th day! Don't allow him to take even half a step out of this room!"

Henry roared ruthlessly and left the children's house. He was barefoot and forgot to wear military boots.

"Foster Father... you can't kill Alex! I'll hate you! I'll hate you for the rest of my life! No matter how much he's a bastard, he's still my real father!"

The little fellow's hoarse roar came from the children's room behind him.
