(Cole P.O.V)
It’s has been two months since I have started home school with Nikki and a lot of things happened by now. Funeral arranged for the warriors who died when we attacked the rogues and Vampires. Kelvin and other Rogues have joined the pack, and Vampires also had joined the pack but they live a little far away from packhouse in a cave and also do patrols for my pack territory in their bat forms. But I still have my warriors keeping an eye on them. It will take some time for us to fully trust the
I was going through some pack paperwork when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in," I said and look up from my laptop to see Stella coming inside my office.
"I am going shopping with mom; can we take Nikki with us?" she asks me.
"No," I answered her.
"Why?" she asks me.
"You know very well why Stella?" I said to her while working on my laptop.
"Please," she said while giving a puppy dog eye to me thinking that I will meltdown with it.
“No means no,” I said in a stern voice to my sister who is asking me to let her take Nikki for a shopping trip.
“Oh, come on, Cole, aren’t you being, overprotective of her, it’s has been 2 months since you have started homeschooling Nikki and did not let her out of the packhouse until she goes to Lake, and even you not let her go alone there, she had few warriors to guard her under the shadow, that poor soul did not say anything that does not mean that she did not feel suffocated here,” Stella complains to me.
“You have to understand me, Stella, I have almost lost her once and I don’t want to go through that again,” I said to her and sigh in frustration.
“I can understand, you Cole and It’s not like we are going there alone, we will have warriors with us to protect us, and I almost forgot we have missed her birthday, are you going to celebrate her late birthday or not?” she asks me and I almost forgot about it, too busy in work that I forgot to talk about it with my family.
"You know what, I have an idea, how about I take her shopping with us, and you prepare a late birthday surprise party for her," Stella suggested. The Idea was tempting but I don't want to take any risk when it comes to my mate, but they will have warriors with to protect her right. I thought about it for some time and give up.
"Fine, but I want you guys to be back home before sunset and take guards with you, okay?" I ask her and she nodded her head.
"Take my credit card and busy anything you guys want, keep calling me after every two hours and pick up the call whenever I call you, did I make myself clear?" I ask her while taking the credit card out of my pocket and giving it to her. She takes it from my hand while nodding her head at me and walks out of my office.
I mind link Albert and tell her to send some warriors with them. I mind link Kelvin and tell him to go with them. I mind link my cook and tell her to prepare the Chocolate cake for Nikki and write happy late birthday on it and prepare all her favorite food for dinner. I make a list of all the things I am going to need to decorate the house for her party and send some omega to go and buy it.
I complete some pack work and go-to jewelry shop to purchase a gift for her. When I reach to pack-house I order the omegas to start decorating the house. I also call Ryan and invited him with other vampires for the party.
I walk back to my office, I started to complete the remaining work.
(Stella P.O.V)
I get out of my brother's office and start dancing in victory. I straighten myself when I saw an omega was looking at me like I am a mimic and giggle to myself. I walk towards Nikki's room while mind linking my mom telling her to get ready to head out of the pack-house. I walk inside the room to see she was doing the homework that her teacher has given her to do.
"Here take this, and get ready," I said passing her the sundress I have chosen for her from her closet.
"Why are we going somewhere?" she asks and I nodded my head at her. She takes the sundress and walks inside the washroom. After that, she comes out of the washroom wearing the dress and, I made her hair and makes her wear her sandals and walks out of her room and to the living room where my mother, Kelvin, and other warriors were waiting for us. We all walk out of the pack-house and get into our cars.
"Where are we going?" mom asks getting in the car. I was sitting in the driver seat and mom seats in the shotgun whereas Kelvin and Nikki sit on the back seat.
"At first we are going to the amusement park which is not much far away from here, then we will go to the mall to do some shopping and then watch to the cinema and back home," I told them. I start the engine and drive away to our destination.
"Beta female, aren't we going shopping?" One of the warriors asks me through the mind link.
"Yes, we are but after enjoying sometime in the amusement park," I said to him through the mind link.
"And don't you dare inform about it to your alpha, otherwise, you will not like the circumstances," I blackmail him through mind link while getting out of the car. We tried every ride in the amusement park and tried every food stall in there. Kelvin also wins a medium size teddy bear for her in one of the games in a stall and its feel so good to see her smiling and enjoying herself after what she has gone through.
After amusement park, we head for the mall and directly go to the food court to have lunch when I got a call from my brother and he started scolding me for not informing him about me taking Nikki at the amusement park, demanding to come back home with her but I just hang up on him, ignoring him and glare at the warriors for informing him and they just look away from
