Shion's apology doesn't reach out to Edward who is staring at the wedding ring. A gentle caress falls on its body with a bitter smile on its solemn face. The guilty never let him go from the day, he decided to hide the matter of finding his first love. But seeing this turned out way too bitterly that, he now has no expression and words to describe.
Shion sighs seeing his Boss who is constantly keeping his mouth shut. Everyone on his team is required to make sure Charlotte doesn't cross the hospital no matter what. However, Charlotte was fast to escape.
" Boss! We will find her no matter what. "
" She finalized to leave me without asking me for an explanation." He mumbles shoving the ring in his pocket.
" Find her. Every single place in the world. I want her back to me within a week." His cold voice makes his bodyguards weak. They immediately accept the task and call everyone to start searching for her.
Edward looks at the ring that he bought yesterday to gift her on their first marriage anniversary. The diamond shines in the light, reflecting in his eyes.
Soon, his attention goes to his phone when it rings. A small pang sound of heartbeat makes him nervous thinking the phone call is probably from Charlotte.
Seeing the kinda familiar number, he receives it instantly.." Edward speaking." He casually speaks.
" Hello. Mr Rodriguez. I am Sandra. Charlotte's best friend. She called me earlier. I couldn't able to answer her. Now I can't reach her. Can you tell her that I am sorry and pick up my calls? She switched off my calls."
Edward can feel the panic and guilty over hanging up on Charlotte in her voice. Rubbing his temple, he sits on the bed where Charlotte's pajamas and other accessories are. She didn't take anything except for her passport and phone.
" She isn't here."
" What do you mean? I told you I am sorry. Tell her to understand me. I will treat her to something great
" She sighs knowing she can't wait to tell Charlotte that she has agreed to marry Andrew and that means they're going to be in-laws as well.
" She left me. And I don't know where she went." He replies pathetically. His voice dropped with sadness and guilt.
There has been no response from the opposite side. It's taking time to process what Edward said right now. Sandra frowns while collecting the right words she should use.
" What do you mean by she left you? Where did she go?" She asks in a suspicious tone while raising her voice.
He finds no words to speak out and keeps silent. And that gives Sandra a guess of something unusual.
" Did you cheat on her or something? Why would she leave when she loves you so much? What did you do to my best friend?"
Sandra's heart squeezes with terror. Charlotte has always been sensitive when it comes to her feelings. She will never speak up or say something. Just remove her from the place where she feels doubtful and uncomfortable.
However, she knows how to handle something minor. Then what could it be except for him, cheating on Charlotte to make her leave him immediately?
" Mr. Rodriguez! I want an answer. Where is she? When did she go?" repeatedly asks, she walks inside the room where Andrew and Suzy are having fun together.
" I will find her. Don't worry. I will find her." He keeps mumbling hanging up on her. His eyes are unremovable from the ring. " You should not give up on me like this. You should have fought even if I tried to leave you. Did you tell me I only belong to you..then why? I didn't love someone who can't fight for her belongings."
His whisper is mixed with anger, disappointment, and sadness. He knows what he did is wrong but she should stop him from doing what he is doing wrong and shows him the right path. He gives her his words yet she.

A notification chirps in her phone when Shayne is rechecking and reconfirming her VVIP patient who has been under her treatment. Her eyebrows knitted and her attention goes to the screen of her phone.
When she eyes down at the registered ID, she grabs her phone and opens the message to read.
The first line of the message backfired her anger badly. Grabbing her purse, she walks out with hurried steps. As soon as she reached the entrance of the hospital, A car honks making her flinch on the spot.
" What are you doing here?" She opens the door of the car leaning forward.
" Have you checked the email? That fcking bïtch just left. A prosecutor sent people to empty the house to sell it as soon as possible." The person who is squeezing the steering wheel speaks while grinding their teeth.
Shayne's eyes narrowed with confusion. Checking around, she hops in the car and locks it inside. " What are you talking about?"
" What am I talking about? You said she would come back to you with the property papers. But now, not only she ran away with the property deeds but also sent a prosecutor to investigate her parent's murderers." A frustrated groan makes the person scarier.
Shayne has no words to say. She didn't know something happened.
" It's impossible. No matter what, she will return to me with the deeds. She isn't the kind of person who will be selfish. Did she know something? No. How did she even get those deeds? He won't hand the billion dollars property to her by himself." The more the person speaks, the higher the pitch is escalating.
Shayne's nails are being chewed with her bloodshot eyes. As she knows, Charlotte isn't the kind of girl who will selfishly take the properties by herself. Then why did Charles never tell her about it?
" Did she meet milestone? How did she find everything in such a short time? No, that's not the point. You said she left. Isn't she with Edward?" She asks.

Shayne grits her teeth. Edward found the girl was a coincidence. She keeps that girl in the hospital to let them meet later after as she planned. But Edward's observance of everything made the situation worse.

Getting out, she said. She can't give up as soon as possible.
