Chapter 250: And it all ended.

As his raised hand was coming down to Arabella's body, Celina Delmark and Maxwell were certain he would pull her away from himself and fling her off like a flea.

If he pushed her away and said nothing else, he'd really tried. But then, if he calls her names, that serves her right. Her secret love and affection for Louis, has earned her that.

After all, love has a price tag attached to it. But rather than pulling her off, Louis placed his hand on her back and gently caressed it.

He caressed her long dark hair and gently raised her chin, making her glare up at him and he bent over, planting a featherlight kiss on her temple.

"How are you Arabella Hayden?" Louis asked, pulling her close to him further.

Huh! Maxwell grunted. He turned and exchanged glances with his mother and at the same time, they both turned and glared at Louis.

Are they dreaming?

Few minutes later, Louis brought a paper out of the inner part of his suit and threw it in front of Celina Delmark "Sign this deal and get the fuck out of my father's life" he ordered.

"And if I don't.."Celina Delmark trailed off. He can't just order her around. She might be in the position of a mistress, but she is still his father's woman.

"You will disappear anyways. You either do it with dignity and benefits or I drag you by the throat and force you out of my father's life forever. You choose" Louis seethed.

"What kind of a woman do you think I am?" Celina Delmark asked. How dare he want to send her away like a piece of thrash? If anyone is qualified to do so, it's Ellis and not his son.

"Yes, I do. You are a mistress and a spare to my dad's sexual needs. I also know that you are shameless and have two illegitimate children with a married man.

I also know that you are head bent on ruining my parents' marriage and splitting them apart. But I am announcing to you that I won't give you that chance. Sign the deal and disappear out of our lives forever!" Louis seethed.

"You should give me some respect, I'm your father's woman" Celina Delmark bellowed. How dare he humiliate her before her children.

"You mean to say his mistress?" Louis paraphrased and chuckled aloud.

As Louis drove back, his head and mind was filled with different thoughts. Celina Delmark has gone off, out of their lives with her son but Arabella chose him and their dad and stayed back. His sister would move into his Mansion as he thinks on how to appease his mom.

After all that has happened to him, he'd learned greatly that everyone deserves a second chance. He would ask his Mom to put the past behind her and give his dad a second chance as he prepares for his wedding with Pamela.

Few months later.

It's the night before Pamela and Louis' wedding. It's also the day Ethan clocked a year. The party was massive. Louis was in the company of young men, chatting, drinking and feeling excited to be getting married to the woman he loves.

Twice he'd been married before. The first was while he was in a coma. The second was when he suffered amnesia. Twice married, twice divorced.

But this time, he's tying the knot for real. Lucas' ring finger glitters with a diamond wedding band, his wife Alice was in company of Pamela, her belly big and round like a full blown balloon.

Emma and Freya were also present. Uncle Greg was busy attending to other activities. They are the only paternal family that Pamela has.

Emma hasn't stopped stealing glances at Lucas. Twice the latter locked eyes with her and he completely turned his back to her. She cannot imagine how Lucas was able to get married and impregnate his wife.

Or could it be that she's playing a smart one on Lucas like she did? But then, Lucas can't be fooled twice with the same mistake. Did he do something to himself to become a complete man now?

She loves him now but it's too late for her. Her heart yearns for him. She wants to right her wrongs, just one more chance, but life seems to be partial sometimes, not everyone gets a second chance.

She glanced at the belly of his wife and her eyes went cloudy. A lone tear dropped from her eyes and she quickly cleaned it off.

Suddenly, there was a blasting horn heard. Heads turned in the direction of the parking lot as the presence of his royal highness, the King and Queen of Middletown City was announced.

Pamela stood up quickly and Louis did the same. They went forward as everyone momentarily paused in their activities.

The bodyguards rushed over and went to hold the door. The royal parents alighted and another woman, who has a striking resemblance with Pamela alighted as well.

She wore a crown, exactly as the royal parents. When Louis saw her, he knew she's his future mother-in-law, Pamela's Mom.

"Sister Susana" Pamela called, trying hard to hold back the tears clouding her eyes. She made it happen, she succeeded. Her grandparents have made it up with each other.

"Call me Mother. I am now Alice Johnson, the crown princess of Middletown City" Susana corrected.

Pamela threw herself into her mother's arms. The two women hugged each other warmly, as their tears dropped on each other's shoulders.

"Welcome your royal highnesses' ' Louis said, bowing slightly before the King, Tarvan and the Queen mother, Clarion Johnson.

Epilogue:

"Leah, can you ever imagine that our friendship would last like this forever?" Alice asked, picking a slice of apple and taking it to her mouth.

The two women sat in the vast garden of the Hayden's Mansion. They won't stop seeing each other daily after their kid's wedding.

How else can they make up for old times they've lost. Alice loves Leah very much and the latter was grateful in her heart that Pamela never told her Mom a thing about how she'd treated her in the past.

"Not in the slightest, girlfriend. And now, we are not just friends, we've become a family forever. We share grandchildren and our children are the happiest couple in the world" Leah responded, helping herself with the slices of fruits.

Alice Johnson smiled as her eyes went moist. This period in her life is the happiest since her husband Linus died.

"Thank you for being the best mom to Pamela while I wasn't there. You are a role model, Leah" Alice appreciated.

Huh?

Leah choked as her facial expression twitched. She quickly took a glass of water to her lips to conceal the awkwardness in the air.
